"Sorry guys, I didn't know he's be such a cockhead." Kitty sat down and looked around with a guilty frown. She quickly turned it into a smile, "Boy did I have a good night though."
"That's great." Jesse sounded about as unenthusiastic as he could, "You know, I have plans this Saturday."
"You always have plans, Jess. I think you need to start spending quality time with your work family."
"My plans are with my real family." He rolled his eyes, "I'm all for that Savannah ******** the vampire until he submits."
Gabby rolled his eyes, "Whatever. Jesse, you need to start learning to fast-forward time. Because until then, we actually have to endure these meetings. I'd do it myself, but I like having my energy."
"All for one and one for all, eh Gabs?" Kitty scoffed.
"All for one anyway." Gabby returned to looking at his phone.
Kasey quieted the lot, getting their attention for the first of many presentations of the day. Boy was this going to be fun. Meanwhile while they got to listen to a riveting presentation, he had the opportunity to leave, but chose to stay in, on his laptop, so he could be sure they were all paying attention.
---
"They'd forgive you for something like that? Sounds like a really lenient place." Ricky scoffed, "You're away for years just for drugs here." He cleared his throat, "But we'd best change the subject, we've got the little one around." It was then that his phone rang. He rolled his eyes and picked it up, excusing himself from the table. "Hey mama. No I don't know why Nick's not answering. You think he tells me where he is? That'd be the day. Try his cellphone. Okay. Okay." He held the phone away from him and gave it a confused look, "Bye mom, love you too."
---
"Psst! Kasey!" The man sticking his head through the door near the Vampire looked a bit professional for his actions, "Hippie look at me!"
Kasey ignored him, clearly purposefully.
"I know you hear me, you ********." He hissed. He stuck out his hand, look at me!" He jerked his hand back toward him and with it, Kasey's head turned as though invisible hands had snapped it in that direction. "Thank you." He entered the room, shutting the door quietly without touching it. He was tall, with a masculine frame, broad shoulders, a narrow waist and a strong jawline. Like he had woken up and stepped right off of the cover of an office romance novel. He had thick blonde hair, and wore it like some sort of suave businessmen, and his light blue eyes seemed to appear lighter when he moved things psychokinetically.
"How did you get here?" Kasey hissed back to him. He closed his laptop and set it to the side, standing and pulling the man with him into a corner.
The man scoffed, "My secretary's a djinn."
Kasey rolled his eyes, "Haven't you used all of those wishes up yet?"
"I don't ******** my secretary." He looked disgusted, "How would I justify that to Karen?"
"You've been divorced for six years!"
"Only legally." The man looked like he might be almost ashamed of himself, "I know, but I can't help it. And anytime she tries to go out with other people I get really ******** jealous. I should probably work on that, anyhow," He smiled, "I thought I'd get a tour of your new stay. You're not busy, right?"
"Of course I'm bloody busy!" Kasey raised his voice a bit, realized he was loud and quieted down again, "My staff's in training. We start school earlier this side of the Atlantic. Now, run along to your broken home. I haven't any time for your nonsense."
The man made a sad face and stuck out his lower lip, "Don't you love me?"
"Not a bit." Kasey shook his head, "Now, do you promise to leave if I give you a tour?"
The man nodded, "Totes mah goats."
"Don't say s**t like that. You say s**t like that, that's why Karen doesn't want to be with you."
"Ouch. Jesus, you're a demon."
Kasey rolled his eyes, "Let's go, Beaumont. I don't have time for a whole day of your bullshit." He opened the door and exited with the man at his heels.

Savannah glared. "I am not sleeping with anyone for anyone. If anything, Kitty should be the one to pay up."
Alvin leaned back in his seat and gave Savannah a sideways stare. "So what, a one night stand would be better then taking one for the team?"
Bengali "You two make quite a pair then, what with being total assholes." She smiled.
Alvin nodded his head. "A real friend would take one for the team. And trust me sweetheart, you're going to need us." He lowered his voice an leaned in slightly to her. "What with being a defenseless human."
"Is that a threat?" Savannah asked not sure how to take the man.
"Take it as you like." Alvin shrugged and went back to paying attention to the person speaking. ~ ~ ~ ~
Symphony gave Ricky her full attention, even though he was on the phone. "Everything ok love?"
Cadence ignored her parents and scooted closer to her grandmother. "So what else did mom do? Anything else really bad?"
Euterpe laughed "Your mother got into all sorts of trouble, but as I said. She was no whore. So you have no excuse to be one."

"I'm not gonna ******** Kasey. I'm sorry." Kitty shook her head, "But I'll ******** that cop again. He was fine. Just saying." She turned to where Kasey was leaving, "Speaking of Kasey, where the ******** is he going and whose that sex machine next to him?"
Gabby gave Kitty a sideways glance, "Jesus, horny, keep your skirt down. Although, he's pretty ******** cute, I'll give you that. Nice build. Shoulders." He turned around, "a**..."
Jesse rolled his eyes, "You guys are ridiculous." He glanced over and spoke up, this time feigning his girliest voice, "Oh but he does have a nice assss."
"You're silly." Kitty slapped Jesse's arm playfully, "Girlfriend."
---
"So, why are you really here, Beaumont? Trouble on the other side of the Atlantic is there?" Kasey and his friend were now strolling along through campus rather casually.
Beaumont shook his head and continued to look around like he was taking in the scenery on the tour.
"Is it Karen?"
Beaumont just sighed, "Do you think it's wrong of me? I'm not really sure what's going on."
"I told you before you signed the damned papers that it was a mistake." Kasey sighed, "I knew you would regret it. At least one of you."
"Both."
"Both? How so?"
"We, um, still. Well, I spend the night sometimes." Beaumont was avoiding eye-contact once more.
"Christ, Bo. Do the boys know?" Kasey stopped walking to give an exasperated look to the man beside him, "It can't be great?"
"No." Beaumont stopped too, "I know, I know. You were right and I was wrong! You can rub it in some other time. But my big problem is Karen, not the boys. I want to be with her again, married, I mean, but she won't say anything but 'go home, Beaumont.' and it's driving me crazy. Do you think she's doing it on purpose?"
---
Ricky just rolled his eyes, "My mother. You know my mother. Mi madre es loca." He took a seat again at the table, "So, what really brings you here?" He asked, addressing his newly introduced mother-in-law.

"You guys are crazy." Savannah said dropping her head onto the table to take a nap wile Kasey was away.
"Better rest up. Kasey will probably work you like a dog on our day off." Alvin said watching as the two men left. ~ ~ ~ ~
Euterpe smiled. "Well my daughter told me the good news. And I decided now would be a perfect time to come visit." She pushed her empty plate out of the way. "I wanted to be part of this ones life. Since it seems my lack of participation in the first led to a whore."
"We can handle raising a baby by ourselves." Symphony said becoming a little on the defensive side.
"I am not saying your husband can't, I am saying you can't. Your bad behavior as a kid is coming back to bite you in the a** in your own child." Euterpe sighed and picked up her plate to walk it to the sink only pausing to stand behind her daughter. "And of course. I want my daughter to be truthful in her marriage to such a good catch of a man." She shrugged. "Also her father finally decided he should probably come visit. He is in your Sates." Symphony turned to gap at her mother. "You're kidding right? Why would he show up now?" "He has always been part of your life. He just asked me to keep his identity from you, so he could still hold his position." Euterpe walked to the sink and washed off her dish.
"s**t is gonna go down." Cadence said taking two more pancakes of the serving tray.

Kitty snickered at Alvin's comment, but cleared her throat to speak. "So, do you think you're gonna see him again, Savannah?"
"Of course she is, she's gotta clear our Saturday for us." Gabby was back to facing forward with his arms folded, pretending to listen to the presenter. "Did anyone ever find out about the chicks with Kasey?"
Jesse stretched and yawned when his phone vibrated on the table. He looked at it, smiled, and picked it up to immediately reply.
---
"Well, what do you want me to do, exactly?" Kasey wasn't having any fun with this guessing game anymore.
"Can you talk to her? Please please please please! She's your friend too! She'll tell you things!"
"She probably won't. But I'll call her." Kasey rolled his eyes and flipped out his phone, searched for a minute for the contact and finally found it. He hit send and put the phone to his ears, wondering to himself why he was even bothering.
---
Ricky just watched with a wary expression, "So, what exactly does that mean then?"

"No." Savannah said keeping her head on her desk. "Stupid mistake that is going to haunt me the rest of my life."
"You wont be saying that when his d**k is in your mouth," Alvin paused. "Actually you wont be saying anything at all."
Bengali laughed. "So all in agreement, Savannah saves our weekend for us. Kitty you should probably help her out, give her a proper lesson on what to wear." She turned to look at Gabby. "You could help dress her up to."
"I am not getting dressed up, nor will I be clearing anyone's weekend." Savannah protested. ~ ~ ~ ~
Karen had just stepped out of a meeting. One that had taken longer then it should have, all she had wanted to do was reassign work to some of the lower ranking workers in her office. Yet people thought that the work she was assigning was optional, forcing her to put her foot down. She glanced down at the screen of her cell. Well that was a name she hadn't seen for awhile. "Hello Kasey, how are you? I heard you got assigned headmaster of a school in America." ~ ~ ~ ~
"Nothing!" Symphony said standing up from the table. "That man is not aloud a foot in our home, and mother, as much as I love to have you here. We can raise a baby on our own, if you were truly worried. You would have come the first time I told you I was pregnant."
Cadence stared at her mother "Wait, wait, wait. You're pregnant? And you didn't think it was important enough to tell me?"
Euterpe was just staring at her daughter, she sighed and switched to old Greek. Since her daughter didn't want her husband to know some of her past she would respect that wish, for some time. "Your father isn't to easily told no. He will come here if he decides to, and he has. I suspect we will see him show up in a day or so."
Symphony shook her head, and replied quickly in her native tongue. "No he can't come here, I don't want him here. The more people that know of Ricky and Cadence the more of a risk Zeus finds out and gets mad. No he can't come here." Symphony very rarely got angry. So her raising her voice could be a shocker. "And if he can't respect my wishes, he can go to hell." She said slamming her hand down on the table and storming out of the room.
Cadence watched in awe as her angry mother left. She had never seen her mom that mad before. "So um, is she like that because she is pregnant?"
Euterpe shrugged. "She has always had a temper. She gets mad when she can't have her way. Much like a baby."
"So what exactly did you say to get her that mad?" Cadence asked, curious as to what exactly could get her mother that mad.

"Yes, but it's the East Coast so there's nothing really exciting here. How's life? How're the boys?" Kasey took a seat on one of the outside benches and got comfortable, he wasn't sure how long he would be there. He eyed Beaumont as the man paced back and forth in front of him trying to listen to the conversation.
---
Gabby shrugged, "Of course you don't have to. But every moment we're with him from now on, you get to spend thinking about your awful choices. Just wait until he start picking on you, in front of everyone. Making jokes and references to your night together. Oh it'll be absolutely dreadful. And we'll all laugh. He'll probably start in a few days- oh! Look at that! Saturday's a few days away! Maybe he'll start then!"
---
Ricky raised a brow, "Hey Cady, maybe we leave mom's business alone, okay? Why don't you and I go do something, give mommy and grandma a chance to talk." He hopped out of his chair, "Come on kid, go get dressed."

Karen sighed and began to walk to her office. "All good. The boys are great, though I hardly ever see them anymore it seems." She reached her office and picked up a cup of coffee sitting on her deck. The lights to her room just flicked on, and the computer just started it's self up. "They are at that age they have to hang out with friends all the time." She sat down and took a sip. "So how is the school? Do you like it?" ~ ~ ~ ~
Savannah visibly paled. "He wouldn't."
Alvin leaned in again "Sorry toots, but he is a male, and not a very nice one at that. That man he walked out with." He nodded his head to the door. "I bet he is already telling him what a easy lay you were."
"So!?" Savannah's voice was a little louder then necessary. "There isn't anything I can do about him talking."
"Ahhh but you can!" Alvin smiled "just make him want you, make it so you're the only one he wants to screw, make it so damned good for him that he doesn't want to tell anyone, because he will fear of telling the wrong person and them coming to take you away." Alvin sat back in his chair. "In other words, ******** him till he can't think straight. Or keep it up anymore." ~ ~ ~ ~
Cadence grinned a chance to get out of the house when she was supposed to be grounded. Hell yeah. "Sure dad."
Eutrepe rolled her eyes. "She is such a drama queen."
Cadence looked to her dad. "So um I am gonna go get dressed." with that she jogged quickly out to her bedroom.
Symphony was back to laying on her bed, she was so angry. Why had her mother showed up to ruin her life? She had just made herself a happy home, or close to it, and her mother had showed up out of no where to destroy all that. Cursing softly she rolled over to lay on her back and stare at the ceiling. No doubt her mother would be in shortly to stir her up some more.

"It's going to be a challenge." Kasey laughed a bit, silently swatting Beaumont away from him, who was trying to lean in to hear the conversation now. "But then again, so are teenage boys. It must be difficult dealing with them alone. And you probably never see Beau at all, hum? I apologize if that's touchy, you know I have a tendency to overstep my bounds."
---
Gabby gave Alvin a sideways glance and looked back to Savannah, "He's right you know. It's the best way to save yourself. Right Kitty?"
Kitty nodded, "Oh yeah. Guys will do that. 'Swhy I'd never ******** a coworker. Even if he was hot like Gabs."
"Damn straight."
---
Ricky entered the room quietly, "Hey babe. Cady and I are gonna get out of your hair for a while, alright?" He fished through a pair of pants for his wallet and found it, shoving it into the back pocket of this one, "You gonna be alright?"

"No not at all Kasey" Karen said her voice staying even and controlled. She had the feeling he was fishing for clues. But why would he do something like that, unless he had a reason. "But if you called to chat about my failed marriage I don't see why you didn't call him, he was your friend before you were mine." She leaned back in her chair and folded her legs underneath her. As she watched her computer the mouse moved where her eyes would look. "But Kasey you know. Just because we messed up doesn't mean you should give up on love. Maybe over there you can finally find someone to melt your frozen vampire heart." ~ ~ ~ ~
Savannah put her head down again. "I am so screwed."
"Not yet, but it would be for the best." Alvin said his attention seemingly on the speaker.
Bengali smiled "Don't forget to get on birth control, don't want any little half vampire children running around here in a couple of months."
Again Savannah groaned. But her mind was made up. She would go visit Kasey later to try and do just what Alvin suggested. Make the man think of only her. Not that she thought something like making a man actually want her was a capability she had, but she had to try. ~ ~ ~ ~
Symphony turned her head to watch her husband. "If she isn't here when you come back, don't ask questions. Please?" She asked looking back at the ceiling. "She has to go, she is going to drive me mad, there is a reason I moved half the planet away from her." Some of her mother's words were still buzzing around in her head. Her mom was right. She had to come clean to Ricky, and some time soon. But the very thought of it, well it made her sick. She didn't want to see his reaction.

Kasey laughed, "It's cute that you think that." He ended it with a sigh however, "Though it is sad that you two ever fell apart in the first place. I'm surprised at all what with the way Beaumont talked about you. You wouldn't believe me if I said it, but he still does. He may not admit it but I think he still has feelings for you."
Beaumont could cry. You know, if he was one of those girly men. But Kasey was never so good a person. Oh boy. Why did he smell an ulterior motive? What could possibly be in this for him? Whatever. It was happening. All Beaumont could do was sit close and listen in as best as possible.
---
"Don't be a dipshit." Gabby grunted, "There's no such thing as a half vampire. The kid's either a vampire, or a human. If it was half Kasey, half Savannah, it's be a vampire. Duh." He looked almost annoyed that Bengali wouldn't know that. But he was a d**k. And that's what dicks do. "God I want a smoke."
Jesse rolled his eyes, "If you decide to go for it kid, let us know."
---
Ricky noticed something was wrong. He always did. He frowned, "Baby. What's wrong?" He stepped toward the bed, "Talk to me sweetheart." He leaned over to take her hand and kiss her palm, "Please?"

Karen now sighed. "I still have feelings for him to, but I know it won't work between us." She smiled, if Kasey was going to play dirty she would string him along and deal a few low blows. "But Kasey, darling. I heard about a young girl named Savannah you slept with, she your girlfriend?" She paused and whirled her chair around to look at the computer screen, witch pulled up Face Book by it's self, and logged off her own name, and logged into one Savannah Hunter's page. "She's cute. But you know she is completely human. No powers no nothing." ~ ~ ~ ~
Savannah was quite for a long moment. Finally she lifted her head from the table. "I'll do it."
Alvin smiled "That's a girl. If you need good advice on how to suck d**k, just ask Gabby." ~ ~ ~ ~
Symphony couldn't look at him, she felt too bad. She had been keeping a huge secret from him for over fifteen years. "Can I talk to you when you get back?" She finally turned her head to give him a quick glance then dropped her eyes. "I promise to you, I'll tell you everything. Just let me get rid of my mother." She paused. "And drop Cadence off at a friend's house. For like an hour. You and I just really need to talk."

Kasey's face twisted into a combination of confusion and shock, "What in the world are you talking about. I mean, yes I know but how do you- Karen, why are you such a creeper?"
It was Beaumont's turn to look confused, "What are you talking about with her?" He was whispering to his friend, at an almost incomprehensible volume, because he didn't want to risk being caught, "You're supposed to get answers Kasey, answers!"
Kasey simply shushed the man with an angry look and mouthed "Shut up." in his direction as he waited for an answer from the woman.
---
Gabby nodded, "Or Kitty. She's more active than I am." He shrugged, "And Alvin's probably quite the queen of fellatio too."
Kitty attempted to laugh quietly, "You guys are ridiculous." She put a hand on Savannah's shoulder gently, "Don't do it if you don't want to, but hey, if you want the fun, go ahead.
"She wants the fun." Gabby replied matter-of-factly, "We want the Saturday."
---
Ricky sat down next to her on the bed, "Why don't you just tell me now? Whatever it is it will clearly make you feel better when you tell me. I mean, nothing's gonna make me stop loving you. Nothing. I mean, if there was another guy or something, it might be tough but - I just, well. Well what is it? You can tell me, I want you to be able to tell me."

"Because I care about you." Karen said watching as the computer moved through all of Savannah's information available on her Face Book. "But really. Kasey, she is completely human. How did she get a job as a school for non humans? And you never answered my other question. Is she your girlfriend? I mean that would explain how she got the job." Karen moved onto to looking at the girl's pictures. "She is pretty, you got good taste" ~ ~ ~ ~
"She already said she would, and a friend wouldn't change her mind and chicken out on us." Alvin said leaning in again to try and block out what Kitty was saying. "And I mean you are are friend, right?"
Savannah sighed and slumped forward. Oh the guilt. "No, I will do it. I said I would." ~ ~ ~ ~
Symphony sat up quickly, and horrified look on her face. "No, babe!" She launched herself so she could hug him. "Never in a million years would any other man mean as much to me as you do love." She pulled away and looked him in the eyes. "Well. My mother is right, you don't know all of me. I have been lying about of alot. I wasn't born in Athens, I was born on a mountain called Olympus." She paused feeling her nervousness rising in her belly. "I am not sure if you know anything about Greek mythology. But Olympus is the mountain the gods reside on." she waited a moment to let that sink in.
Cadence was tired of waiting on her dad. She would just have to go get him. "Dad!" she shoved the door to her parent's bedroom only to see them on the bed, in conversation. "Are we leaving or what?"
"Take mother an go out together." Symphony said calmly.
"But mom," She wined "Dad said." She never got finish her sentence. "Out!" Symphony shouted waving her hand, the door slamming shut with her hand motion. "Anyways." She said trying to calm back down. "My mother is Euterpe, the original Muse of Song. And me being her daughter makes me a Muse of song as well." She had her hands in her lap fiddling with the sheets of their bed. "I am immortal, and a goddess. And ever since we got married, every night when we go to bed I push back your age. I have been stopping you from getting old." She said softly. "I am sorry I never gave you a choice. But I don't want to lose you."

"I don't know, there must have been some mix up or something." Kasey massaged both temples and sighed, "she's not my girlfriend, I only just met her. Although I don't see how that's any of your business. That's beside the point though, why do you think it won't work between you?"
"Are you taking about me again?" Beaumont asked, quietly once again, "I'm so lost."
---
"Stop it Alvin. What whould you know about friendship? You don't have any friends." Kitty turned her attention once more to Savannah, "Just make sure you're getting something out of it too."
"I think she means an orgasm." Jesse commented, in a childish manner the way he often did.
"It doesn't matter what I mean," Kitty turned back quickly to give Jesse the stink eye before facing Savannah again, "it only matters that we're not peer-pressuring Savannah into ******** a vampire."
"I ******** a vampire once." Gabby reminisced aloud to the table, "It was quite nice actually, though I don't see what the problem is. But actually, Kasey kind of mean, so I see where big sissy Kitty is coming from."
---
Ricky was ready to laugh and comment about how cute that was when the door closed by itself and his expression fell into a silent confusion, "Um." He took a seat on the edge of the bed, "I'm not sure I- well." He cleared his throat, "I certainly can't complain that you- I mean." He paused, this time a bit longer than before, "I'm sorry love, I'm probably just going to need a minute to take this in."
