Feeling coming back to him, Jericho shook his head and stared hard ta the scareon. What was it doing now? It seemed to be preparing for some sort of attack. Well, he couldn't let it do that. There was no telling what'd end up happening if they didn't stop it now.
The florescival was already demolished once after all.
"VOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!" he cried out before charging towards it, ready to try and smash it right in the face with his fist.

Riley wasn't really happy about being woken up from her sudden, forcefully induced nap. After all, she was having a very pleasant dream. But when consciousness finally forced it's way back into her mind, she slit her eyes open, and watched one minipet slowly devour the other.
Oh.
She wanted one of these pets.
That didn't mean she wasn't going to try to kick this one's a**, however. An objective was an objective, regardless.
She sat up, just in time to see Jericho come at the poor, hapless little creature, punching straight in the face with a powerful attack. It sent shivers down her body in pride, and she pressed her palm against the floor, heaving her leg out to kick the pet in the opposite direction. A double attack? You betcha.

Kallos watched as they finally beat the monster of a minipet into submission, and then cremation, and... Kallos didn't want to watch those last parts, actually. At least his head had returned to it's unclouded state after all that, so he hadn't really had to see much of it.
In any case, after they thought they'd won, it seemed another monsterous minipet had come forth and d-devoured the other corpse. As it looked like it was about to attack again, Kallos gave a panic'd look around, trying to find something he could use. (Who knew just how badly he would fail if left to fight in a hand-to-hand situation against the creature.) He spotted a large branch (well, relatively speaking. (Kallos was quite a twig himself after all, so many fallen branches were larger than him anyway)) and an idea started to form in his head. The wood had a promising split in the middle of it...
Kallos grabbed the branch and, using all his pathetically little amount of strength, split it mostly down the middle, leaving a few inches of it unbroken. He then snapped the wood off from the middle, leaving him with a half of a branch which a little section of a full length of branch at the end. He broke off a little bit more to make an indent at edge of the -still think part.
He took hold of the thinner side. Then, the little, scrawny haunt took a bottle of ink from his belt and placed it at the other side, near the indented part of the thicker section. He took aim, pulling back his arm with the device held tightly in that hand, and then swong it overhand at the creature.
The ink bottle sailed through the air with much more force than Kallos would have been able to summon by himself, and crashed into the beast. It seemed to do some good damage, as the ink bottle shattered on impact and splattered the side of the cannibalistic minipet with glass shards and ink.
Kallos looked at his launcher with a look that might have been pride. Did Kallos seriously just make an extremely basic version of an atlatl? Yes, yes he did, and it seemed his efforts had paid off. Sometimes it helped to be a nerd, after all.

The thing did not even get a chance to make a counter move before it was beaten, pummeled, bludgeoned, set aflame, and subject to practically every single method in 'The Casual Halloweener's Book of Quick and Bloody Hows'.
At last, as it skidded against the ground, leaving a bloodied trail behind it, its limbs gave one final twitched, and stopped. A few students perhaps even held their breath as they waited, waited for something to happen. They were not disappointed.
From the overcast shadow of the room, like clockwork, another pair of eyes peeled open, blinked twice, and was promptly joined by its twin. The two pairs of eyes then quickly grew to four, then sixteen, thirty two, sixty-four-
- One hundred and twenty eight pairs of eyes stared from the shadows, all blinking in unison. What had been an inviting door behind them was now also covered in eyes, just eyes, and black, shadowy outlines.
It was not until the first of the creatures finally broke from the formation, lunging to latch onto the closest victim that all hell broke loose. (( THEY ARE EVERYWHERE.... EVERYWHERE....RULES:- HIT THEM, PUMMEL THEM, DO WHAT IT TAKES TO GET THEM OFF YOU. GO CRAZY. ROLL A DICE, ROLL A FEW DICE, ROLL AS MANY DICE AS YOU CAN FOR GOOD MEASURE, AND FIGHT AS HARD AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN. If you don't kill them fast enough they will keep on multiplying. - One post per person please, there are only so many times that a character can flail madly in a small duration of time ))

An army. Riley was suddenly reminded of the day she had been followed by a herd of cannon cats, and immediately went into panic mode. Every tentacle was at work, grabbing and flinging the creatures away from her as fast as they came. She backed up a few steps, feeling the squish of something as she stepped on it, and went into a tentacle whipping frenzy. The sounds of snapping filled the air around her as they whipped around, protecting her and twisting off anything they could wrap themselves around.
And this was why you never rolled a grappling check against a mindflayer, with any hope of winning.

It was fairly satisfying to lay the smack down like that. Seeing how Riley had joined him on that last attack, he grinned to her and noticed that Malodore was helping as well. However, that grin faded when Jericho realized there were over a hundred pairs of eyes watching them all.
"Tiamat's s**t...."
Seeing his friends start to fight them off, he took in a deep breath before breathing out flames to try and burn away as many of these damn minis as he could.

Siobhan stopped, hunched over. Her tousled and tangled locks strewn about her frame from having given her all. Wide eyes fixated on the presumably dead form of the creature. She hoped the kitty was gone now. Siobhan wanted to leave and cower elsewhere.
Then... a set of eyes. Siobhan began to despair.
Another set of eyes. More dispair.
Her despair grew greater still, as hundreds of eyes blinked at her in unison. What had she done that was so terrible to have deserved such an end? All this was her fault, wasn't it? All these wonderful people would die at the hand of evil felines!
"EEEEEEEEEEEYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!" The banshee wailed out, swinging and flailing her limbs as hundreds of the wretched creatures swarmed the group.

Adyian had felt good to see the creature he had hit fall and die as just how that creature stared and ate its fallen comrade a little creepy, but it did suprise him that he thought that they were a little cute. Just about to walk away when he felt that there were creatures looking at him and he turned around to find that there was more of them and they were coming out of the wood works as then some of those creatures started to head for him.
"Hell's bells!" he said as one of them latched on to him and now he really wished that he could use his FEAR to give him at least a little protection from these creatures latching on to him. He growled some as he started to punch and kick the creatures when they came close to him as he was going to kill as many as he could where they wouldn't latch onto him. As he didn't want to find out what they could do or what there bites could cause.

Christof reeled, finding his back up against a table as the creature suddenly multiplied and multiplied and OH FEAR ALIVE THEY WERE EVERYWHERE! He glanced around frantically for anything that might be useful, his shovel, where the Jack was his shovel?? Safely... elsewhere apparently.
But there was a table. A thankfully properly wooden table, unlike those horrible stone and metal tables at that Rage-ful booth.
With a snarl, he didn't so much flip it as suddenly bring a heavy boot down firmly in the middle, shattering it into a scattered series of wooden shards before grabbing a heavy, jagged piece of wood in each of his three limbs.
Oh, you adorable, lovely-eyed things were going to CRUNCH. Howling through his nose, the hunchback leaped, many limbs pinwheeling with their make-shift weapons to stab, smack, bludgeon and slash whatever was unfortunate to leap in his way.

Roch went into berserker mode. He hadn't been in this mode since the first time he'd fought against the cannon cats, but by the evil gleam in his eyes and the wide, insane smile on his face, he still knew how to do it. His guitar went swinging wildly, slamming and bashing, throwing one of the little monsters into another. All of this was accompanied by his laughter, even when they hit him back. He was, to be honest, just a little bit insane underneath the surface.
But really, are we surprised?

The hologram that had finally been working fizzled out again when the many many minis began their onslaught. Alone again, the Scareon began to buck about, trying to dislodge one of the creatures from her back. As she did, and the creature on her back moved with it's odd weight being thrown about, she felt others squishing under her paws as she moved along, and working her fangs into the motions when she was able.

No want. He no wanted this. Calder didn't want MORE of them, and the sense of being surrounded made ever instinct in him say RUN THE HELL AWAY! They were a pack, a massive pack, of blinking, smiling, already proven to be meat-eating THINGS! And he knew. OOhhhh, he knew. His parents told him that horse meat was on every predator's menu, and he was a standing main course just standing there with a stick. Then, as expected, the eyes pounced.
True, they were fluffy, soft, but their eyes up close were as bad as their eyes far off. Red eyes EVERYWHERE!!!!! He pulled and tore and bucked as hard as he could to get these creatures off. He ran in circles, and when that didn't work, he would stock suddenly to make them fling off, and then lean back and kick and stomp with his hooves. Anything to get the feeling of their little paws off of his body. For the most part, he did this all blindly only because opening his eyes to those faces was too much. He didn't need to get stunned again!

Sebastian darted over to Britannica to make sure she was okay. It wasn't so much that he felt the "BEST FRIENDS~" vibe for her, but that he felt bad about flinging her across the room. After all, she was bound to be in a bit of pain right? Frozen solid and then smashing into a wall ... well it wasn't Seb's idea of fun.
"Miss, are you alright?" He reached down to help her up, but she seemed okay on her own. A bit confused perhaps, but for the most part okay. She seemed to be saying something. What happened to him? Sebastian couldn't help but give a laugh at that. She was worried about him? Shouldn't it have been the other way around?
She was a ditz maybe, but she was fragile too it seemed. With another soft chuckle, Sebastian said, "It's okay, I'm right here. I'm fine, but I really think you should be concerned wi-"
He couldn't finish his sentence though, as suddenly there were eyes. Eyes everywhere. With a gasp, he exhaled, "Merde alors, c'est ... c'est ..." Words absolutely escaped him.
He took a few steps back in horror. He thought about running away, but that simply wasn't an option. What he would give for his messenger bag at the moment. That at least had a few pencils in it- something he could throw or stab with. Here he was absolutely alone.
Striking a boxer's pose, he said, "Miss, I ... I think you should stand back." Sebastian may have been afraid, but he was at least gentleman enough to protect the .. err ... fair maiden. He began punching and kicking at just about anything with two red eyes. Some of them connected, others fell flat. At the moment he didn't care. He was just flailing about, hoping these stupid things would GTFO.
