Shara

"I have had to fight like hell"

Shara stopped her progress forward and keeped herself stationary. She wing beat over time to keep her in one place. The active mad her many cuts bleed more.
She looked at the bar jerk --what was his name?-- with weary contempt.

Not particularly. You remind me of a persistent itch. Irritating and hard to get rid of. she answered him. I don't have time for you at the moment. Go challenge someone else.
Shara ignored him and veered to fly around him

♦The Inferno Warrior♦

The dragoness simply shakes her head in disgust to the carnage happening below her, staying afloat in the air as her wings keep her in midair, her fiery eyes scanning the ground below as demons of various shapes and sizes ravage what remains of the city. It is such a shame, she was starting to enjoy her stay here. Alas, not all good things last, and even they must come to an end. Or at least, she guesses anyway. However, even with that in mind, a thought crosses her mind that this could very well happen to the other cities and the villages surrounding it. Even at the village where her own family resides and to her home city, Argonos. And the dragoness will be damned if she is going to simply allow this to happen to her own family, or her home city. The Tal'Rukk must be eradicated from the the face of these lands if these lands are to ever see the joy of peace and tranquility. Of course, this is just her opinion alone, and her anger and rage building with each passing moment. A low growl escaping her lips as she bares her pearly white fangs, Nanaja frantically looks around to see if she can see any survivors that are in need of some assistance, only seeming to spot an unusual sight. A dragon carrying passengers and beginning to fly away from the city itself. And there's another being that seems to be tailing them as well. From what her sensitive ears have picked up, he referred himself as "the jerk from the bar". However, when the dragon begins to keep itself stationary, just for a moment, the dragoness narrows her fiery eyes. With passengers on board, one cannot simply fly idly and expect results! Especially since the dragon just so happens to be injured to a degree, blood staining its scales. "Hey!" she calls out to the dragon, waving her left arm high above her as her large red leathery wings keep her afloat. "Nakta gethrisjir vur itrewic astahi ekess tokeqwim! (Keep going and get them to safety!)" she shouts to the dragon in the Draconic tongue. "Get going!" The dragoness wishes to see if she can find anymore survivors, if there are any left at this point. And sadly, from what she previously saw, there was nothing but corrupted creatures back on ground level. "And you! Quit being a pest and help out, will ya? Either help with the eradication of these foul creatures or get the hell out of here!" she shouts with some anger lacing her tone towards the male that is pestering the dragon. There's an idea; eliminating some of these damnable creatures. The thought hasn't necessarily crossed her mind until now, her fiery eyes going back down to the ground, the Draconic gem embedded into her longsword begins to faintly glow with a red aura. The dragoness then darts back down to the ground, her wings folding neatly against her back as she prepares for the eradication of most of these damnable beasts. If things get too hectic for her, then she will flee. But she isn't going to simply allow any of these demons freely roam the lands...

Aeris Lenon

"Me? I just like to wander here and there....

Aeris tried to keep as still as possible so Shara wouldn't have such a hard time flying. She saw something darting towards them out of the corner of her eye and snapped her head in that direction, a warning on her lips to Shara about the incoming possible threat. The shape grew closer and she noticed it was Quinn. He didn't look so good; his head seemed to have suffered a large blow, maybe even leaving a concussion and there was blood all over his body, some of it already dried to a dark maroon. Whatever had happened to him happened a while ago. Aeris only wished she had been the one to wound him. She narrowed her eyes dangerously at the demon when he flew in front of Shara and made her hover in midair. The girl was no expert on flying, but she knew the basics that something staying in the air in one place took a considerable amount of energy. The girl's vision started to turn blurry and she realized she was losing consciousness. Just before she blacked out, she heard a female voice shouting something in a foreign tongue and saw a fire red dragon moving towards them, waving a hand to get their attention.

...you know, experience all the world has to offer me."

Quinn quickly flew infront of her barging her way "no no no no this isn't just a challenge anymore sorry but it's become a little bit more personal then that"he replied pointing his sword as he did a group of demons who she probly stepped on,bite,or lite on fire came up behind him "i can see im not the only one you've pissed off i think it's time for a little payback right guys?"he asked them they all replied by cheering menacingly they started to surround her on all sides it became pretty obvious they were ganna ambush her he saw another dragon saying something in some wierd language to Shara telling him to either help out or leave he just rolled his eye and took is attention back to Shara since she seem to realize he wasn't there to help he continued his speech "as you can see this has become our City and we don't want people like you here you ruin our fun with all your desperate heroics trying save all these people what have they ever done for you anyway? we refused to be abused by you any longer"he continued as the crowd of monsters got bigger "so you said you wanted a play before well i have a game i think all of us can enjoy it's called decapitate the dragon"With that last statement they all charged at her clawing and scratching Quinn Aimied to pierce his sword through her neck

Landing on her clawed feet, the dragoness prepares herself for the onslaught of blood thirsty demons that are roaming about the wreckage that is the city, tightly gripping the hilt of her blade with her right hand as she waits for the onslaught. However, nothing shows up within her view, and nothing is happening around her on the ground level, sound wise. Just some whimpering of quite possibly survivors within the wreckage of some of the buildings and nothing more. Humming in thought to herself, her fiery eyes raise themselves back up towards the dragon carrying other survivors, finding that one pestering male having some of the demons behind him, continuing to annoy the dragon once again. "What the... I thought I told them to get out of here. And what is that man..." she pauses for a moment and literally face-palms herself with her left hand, gritting her fangs and growling lowly. "What an idiot I am. He's one of them..." she growls to herself with a shake of her head. The dragoness' wings spread wide open and out to the sides of her, crouching down slightly and immediately taking off into the air once again. The words from the young man enter her sensitive ears, her ears twitching from the sound of his tone of voice. Unfortunately, the last thing Nanaja caught from his voice, it being fairly faint to her but still being able to understand it, is the part where he wishes to play a game, it regarding with the decapitation of the dragon. Her fiery eyes widen at the sound of it, shaking her head and roaring as loud as she can. She cannot stop the other demons from clawing and scratching at the dragon itself, but she can damn well stop the sword from piercing a fairly vital spot. As fast as she can fly, the dragoness gets in between the dragon and the young man, her own blade clashing with the blade of the b*****d that plans on killing the dragon and more than likely every passenger on the dragon. Her weapon locked with his, her fiery eyes are locked with the young mans, growling lowly and baring her fangs as her ears pin themselves against the back of her head as her wings occasionally flap themselves to keep herself stationary. It's at times like these that she doesn't wear armor like most people and is more than capable of getting where she wants pretty quickly with nothing heavy weighing her down. "You shall not harm this dragon with your weapon, demon. If you wish for a fight, how about you fight someone that's about your size, such as I. I'm sure I'd be more of a challenge for someone such as yourself, you pest." she growls to him, her sword hand keeping her weapon steadily clashed against his. She now has a new objective; to make sure this dragon gets away from the crumbling city safely with its passengers on board. It's unfortunate she cannot take care of the other demons, but perhaps the dragon can take care of them. They are nothing more than pests to her, and she is sure a dragon can handle them...

Shara

"I have had to fight like hell"

Shara had to halt her flight once more as the Tal'Rukk jerk got in her way again. The fact that she has passengers was the only reason she didn't rip him to shreds. As the demons gather she had a hard time getting away. If she dived it left the survivors exposed to the demons above and if she rose up would take to long. She flew forward anyway and the demons met her, clawing and scratching her hide. She growled but dodge to protect Aeris and the others.
She was surprised when the dragoness returned from before. She darted around and kept the demons off her exposed areas before attacking Quinn (his name had finally came to her).
This was her chance. These tiny demons were no match for her. For she now had a slight advantage.
The same spell that raised the corrupt city, darkened the skies with cloud do thick it blocked out the sun. However, clouds were clouds and that meant water. She hissed at the demon, crushing those to close in her jaws. She called upon the magic she seldom used and it raged out of her like a freed beast, the force dropping her a few feet.
The clouds reform according to her will, roiling and reforming not into just dark cloud but thick thunderheads. The pressure built and charged and suddenly built and needed to be alleviated. I finally was too much and discharge in a series of powerful lightning bolts. These struck the demons, the lethal bolt killing most instantly. With each bolt more fell.
The lightning struck perilously close to Shara and the other dragoness, but it never hit them. Shara had, at least, that much control. The thundered pounded her ears, but it was worth getting through the demons. By the time it stopped, Shara was exhausted, but well away from the thralls on the Tal’Rukk spawn.
Shara roared in triumph, a thanks to the dragoness that helped her. She would repay her.

The dragoness growls lowly towards the demons words, finding this one to be quite arrogant and full of himself. The lightning strikes that were around her and extremely close to her did not phase her in the slightest, believing that it was the dragons doing no less, removing whatever remaining demons there were. And with the dragon making its escape with the passengers on board, she is at least happy she did buy the majestic creature some time while she fends off this nuisance. But with the damnable demon parrying her weapon and pushing her back a bit, the dragoness grits her fangs and catches herself, her wings keeping her stationary once more. With him shouting at the top of his lungs about this has nothing to do with her, her fiery eyes widen a bit as she hisses violently, bringing her weapon above her head, the palm of her left hand against the flat end of the blade as the two swords clash against one another. With the two weapons clashes against one another, her fiery eyes stare deep into the demons, anger clear upon her facial expression. "Let me tell you something, you spoiled brat. This has a lot to do with me, believe it or not. Your kind decided to waltz right into this city and literally raze it, changing it to however you like. You corrupted creatures of Tal'Rukk are nothing more than a parasite upon these lands and I believe everyone would be better off without your existence! I am going to be the one to rip out your throat and watch your blood flow freely from your wounds, watching you slowly die out!" she shouts to the demon. Nanaja then applies much more strength into her weapon, pushing herself off of the stalemate of sword, flying backwards a little ways. The Draconic gem of taku'ul embedded within her weapon glows ever faintly with a fiery aura, her own left hand beginning to emanate the same kind of aura. As quickly as the aura has come, the dragoness points out her left hand towards the demon, a stream of flames leaving from the palm of her hand and straight towards the demon himself, her plans being that he is incinerated so that she can move on with life and leave this place. However, she gets the feeling it just won't be that easy...

Jasper glared over the sea of chaos and let his sword slip out of his hands and slip quietly back into his shadow. his electric blue eyes swept over the rubble carelessly. and he saw the dragon flying through the air searching for survivors. another dragoness appeared but jasper paid no mind to her much, or the other Tal'rukkian for that matter, in fact he had hoped the annoyance had died. suddenly his far-seeing eyes fell on a patch of blue that stood out among the Chaos. his eyes narrowed and he saw it then, a pair of wings buried under some of the rubble, elegant curves formed at the tips that lightened till they were nearly white and a broken necklace lay on the ground next to them, it had an emerald in the center of a pendant surrounded by diamonds on a chain of silver. Jaspers black heart seemed to stop and his eye widened. "E-Eleanor..." he whispered under his breath. she wasn't supposed to be here this time of year, she was supposed to be back in her small cottage tending to her roses before winter came and killed the beautiful flowers.

Jasper took a step back and looked down at his hands as if horrified. he had done this to his beloved, he had killed her. as his foot hit the edge of the building a part of it crumbled off and he fell nearly five hundred feet to the earth his fall being broken only by a thick layer of ash though it still took its toll. blood ran out from the back of his head and stained his silver hair that was darkening to a golden blonde and his eyes turned green right before they rolled back and closed. his skin faded from its dark grey to a light peach then tan, though took on a pale look since he was losing blood and the sword seemed to become visible, appearing out of his shadow and morphing into Jaspers dark elf form as if it knew something like this would happen and had to protect its master.

Jasper’s doppelganger took its place at the top of the tower to gather information while Jasper, now returned to his once true form, laid helpless on the ground looking very different to the Dark elf he had once been, even his markings were gone and his clothing had been torn apart during the fall downwards as they snagged on to the pointed tips of the tower that even they looked different and the chains were gone. He just looked like another victim trying desperately to hold on to life as his chest rose and fell in shaky movements and his eyes moved under his eyelids as he dreamt of long raven hair and ice blue wings.

Quinn folded his wings infront of him before he was ingulfed in flames he spread his wings again and flapped them a few times to put them out they were burned and a few feathers where falling off but it didn't have much of an effect on him "well it's not like you would have let us join your happy little town otherwise so i figured it would either be yours or ours and by the looks of it it's ours so get out because in this worlds it's survival of the fittest not my fault there people weren't fit to survive they should have have been strong enough to defend ther city or is that why your here to defend it for them?"he replied flying at her as there blades clashed again "besides the "parasites" have you out numbered so im pretty sure you will be the first to die out"he said as another horde of demons approached them "you'll never get rid of all of us you see the thing abour parasites is they'll eat you from the inside out until theres nothing left which is exactly what's about to happen to you"he said trying to keep her distracted as one of the monster was about to jump her from behind

With the stream of flames no longer shooting from the palm of her left hand, the dragoness goes about examining the damage that was not to her intended target, causing her to curse under her breath in the Draconic tongue. She was sure that it would at least do some kind of damage, but with just a few feathers being lost from his own wings and them being partially burned, she believes she is going to have to step it up a notch. Increase her own powers. And with the help of the Draconic gem that is embedded within her blade, the Taku'ul, that shouldn't be much of a problem. Listening to the damnable demon, he does have a point in the matter; nobody would have been happy to see them at all. Unless they were to prove themselves that they weren't sadistic creatures that were hell bent on conquering others and destroying everything in their path! The dragoness growls violently towards the feathery winged demon, her fangs showing as she doesn't approve of the fact that he, of all people, is telling her to leave. And yes, the world does run on the fact that it's survival of the fittest. But of course, there are many exceptions. Many...many exceptions. "You're nothing but a savage..." she scowls the demon, tightly gripping her blade. Her large, red leathery wings still flapping and keeping herself stationary in the air, Nanaja watches as the demon flies towards her with much speed, clashing blades with her once more as the sound of steel against steel echoes and rings within her sensitive ears. When she is told that she is outnumbered, she actually believes it. The dragoness wouldn't doubt it for a second that she is outnumbered. Her ears flick once as she hears the other demons approach them. She only smirks towards his words, giggling ever lightly. "How disappointing..." It seems that he has already forgotten what she can do. Of course, she hasn't shown him everything that she can do. Before the demon flanking her lands its attack, the dragoness closes her wings and immediately begins descending back towards the ground, the deadlock between her and the winged one being broken. Quickly, she falls back down to ground level, landing harshly onto the ground and nearly falling over forward as she lands. She nearly loses the grip upon the hilt of her blade upon the landing, but manages to keep a good grip on it. In a hurry, she stands back up and begins to run off into the deeper parts of the now wrecked city that is turning into a hell hole. "No way in hell I'm fighting them all in midair while surrounded. That's suicide..." she murmurs to herself as she continues running...

Greed?... Wrath?... Lust?... Pride?... Envy?
I fight for none of these petty mortal reasons.
They have nothing to do with it.
~~~~~~~~
Valdia reached the spot were the source of the summoning had begun. The poisonous magic still sung in the air as if holding this place here. She took this in emotionlessly. It was but a small fact and, all-be-it, unimportant. It was the caster she was interested in.
She looked upward. Even though her head --which now rested in the bend on her arm-- saw somethings for her, it wasn't how she mainly saw. The darkest around her made a picture clearer than any normal eyes could see. There was a man up there, but he was a meer shadow of the man she was looking for.
There.... a raspy voice whispered to her.
Seemed her head noticed it before she did. She spurned her horse to the left and pushed him into a fast walk. Then she notice him lying on the ground. It felt like an elf. Interesting.
"Well, what is this?" her hear rasped in a voice that sounded like it hadn't been used in centuries. Which was true. It seemed impossible that a head with no lungs or vocal cord could speak at all, but it did. She was not a natural creature after all. Such rules didn't apply.
"Are you the one who summoned us?" they asked.
~~~~~~~~
I fight for the sake of death
To see it spread to were the light resides
And let darkness flow in its wake.

Shara

"I have had to fight like hell"

Shara continue til she reached to almost nonexistant road that all the other refugees were taking to escape this hellish nightmare. She set down Aeris gently and some of the people picked her up and put her with the other wounded to be treated.
Shara sank to the ground, her breathing labored. That was an interest fight. It might have been enjoyable had it not come out this way. That spell had seemed to sap away the last of her strength. She didn't have the energy to even change back at the moment.
Most of the villagers stayed away, afraid of her. She didn't blame them, she fancied herself that she look rather fierce but for saving their sorry behinds she could at least get some help.
Then there was a touch on her side. Opening one large slighted blue eyes she turned her head to look. A girl was trying to clean one of the long gashed on her side. She looked no more than fifteen with a stubborn chin and sharp eyes. She paused and stared back. They looked at each other a moment before the dragoness sighed.

Thank you. Shara sent and closed her eyes again. But not before she say the girls shy smile. She start working on the wound again. After a moment a few other joined. Shara heart swelled with gratituted. She had been this bad a shape in a long time, and it was nice to get some help.

~What is evil? is it truly a person themselves?~

User Image

~Aiden-Jasper Lionheart~

Jasper heard movement beside him. he kept his eyes closed but he didn't pretend to sleep. he could smell blood all around him, and smoke...and death. where was he? Eleanor, where was Eleanor? he had just seen her standing beside the great oak behind the town hall. what day was it. he scented someone near him, something dark, and it made him sick and while his nose wasn't as sensitive as a Wild Born's, it was still able to pick up a lot about this creature. when it spoke jasper opened his green eyes but the creature wasn't what caught his attention first, it was the destruction around him, it stank of demonic energy and it made his emerald eyes widen in shock and fear. He was in Simaron! 'how did i get here? what happened here! what is going on!' he screamed in his head. his eyes finely fell on the creature before him and thought carefully on how to answer this being, while he was scared he new about creatures of darkness, a wrong answer could cost him his life. if he told the truth (to him) and said no it would kill him, but then again, even if he lied and said yes, it might cost him anyway.

Jasper did the only thing he could think of, as a child he used to flee from the guard of his small village after pulling a prank, and that it what he did, he fled his elven legs, though sore, allowed him to glide across the ground running past demons that picked up the elven sent and chased after him. he prayed to any merciful God to save him from this nightmare and take him home to his village, to his beloved Eleanor and her ridiculous garden of roses.

His clone stared down at his master from atop the tower. it was apparent his master had lost all his memories from the time he had been captured and dragged into the depths of Tal'rukk, most never had that pleasure of release. his ability to change back to his original state on the other hand showed that the corruption his masters had carefully fed had never made its way into his tormented soul, somehow his master had saved himself, at the cost of his sanity. While his sword seemed to be just that a sword, it was a living being's soul trapped within the blade, but, it was not evil, it was aligned with his masters soul till death do they part, the evil things the being did within the sword was not by its bidding.

~Or is it the torment that drives them to be that way...drives them to insanity~
