The door creaked open as Cain walked into the room. He closed it behind him. He had taken off his jacket and his hat, both sent to the armory in order to recieve kevlar padding on the inside. He walked over to Lili and sat on his side of the bed. He lowered his head, either in sadness or in contemplation.
"Lili....I'm sorry for how I acted at the meeting..."

Liliana started, jumping in the bed. Her mind had been somewhere far away and was oblivious to her surroundings. Rolling over, she sighed. "Cain, you know I love you but you can't act like that in front of others leaders. It makes us both appear weak and childish. It's not something we need right now." She sat up as the Alewar wisp floated near her shoulder. "Now we need to find an island that may or may not even reveal itself to us to stop a demi-god from destroying everything." Sighing again, she lay back on the bed again. "And with how easy it is for most of the leaders to clash, I don't know how we're gonna do it..."

Cain contemplated more. When it came to political matters, he was still a novice. But when it came to military tactics and planning, he was an unrivaled master.
"Ofcourse leaders are going to quarrel. Like I said before, we may be the cause of the darkness. Revealing the sudden power that has come to be may cause one or two of us within the alliance to lust for it, to want to use it for their own means..."
Cain paced himself.
"We need a forward scout, someone or a group of people who can search while we prepare....Is there someone powerful enough who can find this island who has absolutely zero gain from this?"

"Everyone has something to gain," Liliana said. Then she started to think about herself. Now that she sat down and thought about it, she really didn't want for anything. Sure she missed Emelia but she knew someone had to protect and help the rouges of the Spire. Really, she had nothing she could think of to want from this.

Cain sat down next to her and placed his hand on her head. He rubbed the top of her head a bit as he also continued to plan out.
"Lili....I'll stay behind as you said...however, I'll continue to search the void in order to find our answer. Is there anyway I can communicate with you from far distances?"

Liliana dipped her hand into the glass-making sand and had it follow her. "I need you to focus on the deeper Reading we seers have. Focus it on this glass as I craft and mold it." The sand started to swirl and melt, becoming hot molten glass shaping in the air in front of her.

Cain watched as he could hear her moving the sand and also hearing it's physical state change. He could also feel the heat of her melting it. Not only that, but he could see a fluctuation in energy.
"I'm trying to understand, is this for noticing the change in energy in order to create a nearly complete mental image of whats infront of me?"

Cain nodded as he focused his reading powers on the sand. His eyes began to glow slightly as he looked into the sand. Using his reading powers on an inanimate object? How would that work, but he continued to do so.

The glass glowed blue as it trapped the energy inside. Hardening into a pair of small marbles, Liliana checked they were cool enough to handle before giving Cain one. "There. It's tuned to only us so it's safe over any distance since no one will be able to use it beyond us."

Cain stared at the glass and looked deeply into it. He could see the combonation of his and Lili's energy swirling around in it. He smiled as he placed the glass on the table next to the bed. He hugged Lili tight.
"Just make sure...no, because that won't happen."

Cain chuckled as he gave Lili a light kiss on the lip.
"It's not just me that is worried, but our people will too. They love their Lady, and all of my soldiers told me that they were ready to give their lives to keep you and I, and more importantly the kingdom, safe and thriving. Their worries will stay, but also among their prayers for your safety."

Liliana held Cain's face in her hand. "I leave my people in more than capable hands. The hands of my husband, my Lord, and my companion. I see no better hands to watch and guide my people." She gave him a light kiss before getting up off the bed. Tucking the marble into her bosom, she smiled. "If I should fall in the dusk before the dark, don't cry for me. For I will fall a champion for my people and the people of this world." Turning, she moved to leave the room.

Soon enough, a shadow could be seen over the horizon. It was closing in at a fast rate. As it got closer, most people would immediately recognize it as Fireweaver, Dante's dragon. The dragon landed on the ground with an extrememly loud thud. He was careful not to break any cobblestones this time. As soon as he landed, Dante grabbed his chainsnake dagger and wrapped it around his titanium breastplate. He then took Hell's spire and sheathed it in the scabbard on his titanium leggings. After finishing this, he jumped off of his 3 story dragon and hit the ground, using his legs as shock absorbers. He then strolled through the courtyard, in search of Lilliana or Cain. It was time to figure out what this whole island bit was about.
