Old Batty circled the suspects, blowing his nose every so often into a particularly lethargic bat. The bat didn't seem to mind. The old man glared at each possible bat-murderer in turn, listening to the chittering of his pets as they discussed what the gathered minis were saying. Could he really understand them? Batty wasn't telling.
Eventually, he came to a stop in front of Caine, his puffy red eyes BLAZING WITH FURY!!!
"IT WAS YOU, YOU HACK! I SAW YOU IN FIDDLER ON THE ROOF AND YOU WERE TERRIBLE! SHAME!"The vampire tilted his thick neck back and squinted his eyes at Batty.
He didn't say a word.
"Why did you do it? Why did you kill Flower?"Caine's manly butt-chin began to quiver, subtly at first, but before too long it was shaking like a chilly ferret.
"She... she turned me down on Batmatch.com, OKAY?"
"But that didn't mean you had to kill her!!!" Seal shrieked. All the gathered humanoids heard from her was a shrill series of cheeps.
"It was the first time I had tried my bat form and I couldn't take that kind of rejection."
"B...but...kill?"Caine frowned. "If you really want her back, I mean, I know a guy...?"
Batty perked up considerably, giving the vampire a gummy smile.
"An undead bat's better than no bat, sonny!"He held out his hand. Caine shook.
