Israfel peeked into the booth again. And before he could brink, something got him. It got him right in the eye no less. And it was pointy and sharp and AUGH PAIN. PAIN. While he wasn't bleeding oh jack that smarted. Stung and he whimpered. One good eye open he did notice it for what it was. A badge. His eye opened in shock, scrambling away from the booth, he hoped this wasn't stealing.
It had been thrown at him after all.

Minnie came in, and tried to steal their fish. Seems like they noticed. "Oh great." Then Minnie dodged their attacks, by throwing fish. But one of them ran out of fish, so he/she throwed an Embertan.
"Sweet! A minipet!" Minnie grabbed the Embertan, and rushed out from the gym, with a happy face. "Well, at least i got an Embertan!"

Defeated and re-humbled by Sleuth's gym, Vero accidentally found his way to the pair's gym rather than, say, a place where he could actually rest and recover.
Fish was the punishment for his mistake.

Usually Herryk hated coming to Break and Ember's gym, but today no fish were sailing towards his face. That was a pleasant change! Instead, a small red demon-beast thumped into Herryk's chest before tumbling harmlessly to the ground. Reaching down, Herryk gingerly picked up the little writhing beast, a slight frown on his face. It was a mean little thing, and Herryk wasn't sure that he wanted to stick it down his loincloth (which was where he kept all his other prizes). Glancing past the minipet that he clutched in his fingers, Herryk caught sight of Vero. With a huge grin, Herryk approached his friend. "Vero! Herryk is happy to see you again. Did you get fish again? Herryk had this thing," he held up the beastie, "thrown at him today. Herryk thinks he would rather have had fish thrown at his face. This is a mean little monster." ((Herryk won a ToT mini! Embertan, please!!)) PRIZE SENT!

Fish. Fish everywhere. Never not fish. Riley would have to shower a thousand times once this festival was over, and she was sure she would still faintly smell of fish.
Perhaps this meant Merope would like her. She couldn't say for certain.

Cain snuck into the gym as quietly as he could, but it wasn't enough. Still, he was pelted with alarming accuracy and -- was that a catfish?

He was back. He ran to the middle, already running around and trying to avoid the fish.
Marosa failed, of course. He winced, shaking his head and letting the fail fish just drop off of him, slowing to a walk. There was no point in running; they got him in the end.

Cat was back. This time, purposely, as from a distance he had spied people escaping from the onslaught of fish with prizes of all things! Cat liked prizes. He WANTED prizes.
Whether or not he actually got them was an entirely different matter, of course.
Upon edging within range yet again, the storm of fish began anew. Puffing out his chest and, uselessly, closing his eyes, Cat took the onslaught for as long as he could stand. Which, admittedly, was not very long at all. Empty handed and yet again reeking of fish, he fled the lake.

Kazuka was really starting to expect this when ever he came to this gym. Once again fish rained down on him and he had to escape before he 'drowned in fish'. He really needed to figure out a way around them as he was tired of smelling so bad after the gym.

Israfel had a badge, be he was wondering if he'd gotten it on accident. Apparently Ember had great aim, last time with her badge, now her minipet.
It got Israfel in his other eye in anycase.

The starving stray sidled up to the booth, then sat down right in front of it, his tail flicking back and forth, a look on his face that said "C'mon, you know you wanna throw fish at me!"
But nothing happened. Apparently you had to be... ahem... TALLER for them to notice you heading for the booth. With that thought Jackdammit gave them a haughty look and headed off to find his boil. He came back a few minutes, the reaper boil with the guitar chasing him like clockwork.
"What the hell, cat?! You tried to BITE my RIFF!" he bellowed as he got to the booth, only to stop and look up in horror as he realized where they were.
And right on cue the fish came pelting out of nowhere, slapping the boil in the face and falling to the ground.
Oh how Jackdammit ADORED this booth. crying

A little scatterbrained from the fish-tossing, Vero blinked several times before he was able to answer the draugr. "Ah, that one. We have that and a second minipet thrown at us before," he said with a nod. "We think it a welcoming change from piscine projectiles. Have you had any other luck with badges?"
Another wet slap later, and Vero noticed that Cain was also with them! "Er . . . dodge," it offered belatedly.

Feeling clean was something Marosa liked. Something he really liked.
He did not like getting pelted by fish. Not at all. He couldn't help but keep trying, though, hoping that just one time they'd throw something else.
Yesterday hadn't been good luck, and today wasn't it either. Wiping fish off of his shoulders, he trudged out to take yet another bath to wash off the smell.
