Meme could have so easily gotten mad at him for drugging him just to get information but at the same time he couldn't really blame the other. "I see....." was he found viable to say. "We need to get started." he said softly, leading the way out of the room but waiting for Rufus to lead the way to the library since he wasn't sure where it was.
}{ Kuro Suji }{
Kuro turned back around and sat back on Akito's bed. "You'll be okay. Just try to relax." he said softly and remained at the boy's side for a little while longer. Once Akito had fallen asleep, Kuro made his way around the castle, looking for Rufus in case he was to need him for anything.

 Rufus led the way to the library, showing Meme into it and letting him sit down before heading to the kitchens for a light snack. On his way back to the library, he ran into Kuro and made sure they were nowhere near the library before speaking.
"How is he? I'm sorry I asked you to do my dirty work, Kuro." He ran his hand through his hair, tugging slightly. "I'm not a great master, but I hope I'm slightly better than my father." he paused. "I believe they are neither lovers, nor in love. My husband appears to want to remain as such, so we'll see how that goes once we know each other better."

Meme ran into the library and stood for a few moments just staring at how many books there were. He started looking around for where he would find paper and a pencil or pen, but this library was so big that he couldn't find a desk that had any drawers.

Kuro nodded. "You are a much better master than your father. He may have punished me severely for such little mistakes I have made that you have forgiven me for. Akito will be alright, he had some wounds on his wrists and he's a bit sickly from the cold dungeon. He will survive though. What is to become of Master Pear?" he asked softly, a little more informal with Rufus than he was usually.

"Master Pear will remain my husband. He baffles me, but the bride my father intended me to marry has sent word asking for help. She, her father and my father are in some inn in a town just past the road block. They think it'll clear in a day or so."
The Prince leant close to his Butler. "I have a favour to ask of you. Know that it is a request, not an order or demand. You can say no if you wish to, and I won't accept a reply until you've heard the plan."
That said, he led the way to the library.

Meme saw Rufus enter the library with Kuro and gave a soft sigh so as to calm himself down. He knew what they were about to do could get them in major trouble but it was the right thing to do and Meme was going to see it through to the end.

Kuro followed the Prince inside the library but he would do anything for Rufus. It was the least he could do as a favor to him for taking him in. "What is it you need my assistance for?" he asked softly as he caught sight of Meme. "Akito will be alright." he mentioned to the boy for reassurance then turned his attention back to the Prince.

Rufus got a pen and some paper from a hidden drawer in the desk. It contained his official seal and the paper had his mark on it; he wanted his official fiance to know who wrote the letter he was about to send. He gestured for Meme and Kuro to sit as he pulled out his own seat.
"I intend to ask Akito to go with you," he gestured to Kuro, "to the town beyond the road blockage, so you can deliver the note. I want Akito to actually hand over the note, whilst you converse with my intended to find out who her lover is and where he can be found. If you can, Kuro, I would like you to find out his character. I refuse to force her to marry me, but equally refuse to let her desperation guide her into a false marriage."
He smiled. "Then we get the whole wedding party here by removing the blockage. If we find her lover to be true, then we simply keep her and Meme safe whilst I tell the fathers. Otherwise, we'll have to hide Meme whilst we find a way to sort her out - she still won't be forced to marry me, but without someone else to marry or somewhere else to go, it will be difficult for her."

Meme awaited the butler's reply, his eyes practically begging the man to help them.

Kuro looked at the two of them and quickly stood. "Do you realize how much trouble you will get into Rufus?" he asked surprised, genuinely concerned for the man's well being. He knew how brutal his father could be. "Do you know what your father will do to you when he finds out? To the both of you!?"

"Which is why we need to hide Meme and the woman I'm supposed to be marrying." Rufus shrugged and smiled as a way to hide his feelings on the subject. "I'm sure you and the rest of the household can get them out - he won't kill me, and if the lover is a good man then we can get them to the altar so she'll be married too. Of course, I'll have to find a way to keep her father here... a duel! It'll be his right to demand one since I 'offended' his daughter by marrying someone else. Then once I win I deal with my father, he goes away and you, Meme and the newly-married princess come back." He beamed. "Simple!"

"Wait...you're going to hide me?! Why can't I prove I'm good enough to be married to you?" Meme asked, he wasn't exactly mad but he had always wanted a chance to prove his worth and who better to prove it to than the King himself?

Kuro gave a soft sigh. "It's for your best Meme, if his father sees that you married Rufus he will most likely kill you." he said softly before sitting down once more. He knew Rufus well and knew that the young man was capable of pulling off these sorts of plans, how he did it was a mystery but nonetheless they were indeed accomplished. "I'll help you. I don't care if we get caught, I'll endure any pain that may occur. But I must check on Akito, he was still sickly when I saw him."

Rufus turned to Meme, ready to defend his plans, but Kuro got there first. "What my loyal, fine, upstanding and outstanding Butler said. Best to get my father past his rage first, then worry about introductions in a year or so."
He nodded to Kuro. "Take Meme with you - and please try not to hate me, Meme. This plan hinges on our remaining married." He paused. "Though if you are going to decide you want out, now is a better time than later to let me know."

Meme nodded in understanding. "Okay.....I'll help out any way I can." he said softly, then he heard what Rufus said about backing out and shook his head. "No, I'm in this too. I created this mess, I'll help clean it up." he said softly, knowing he had to take responsibility.
After listening to what Kuro had to say Meme stood up and was about to follow Kuro but decided he wanted to say his goodbyes to Rufus, he knew he would see the Prince soon but he was still nervous about how this plan would go down. Meme wrapped his arms around Rufus' waist and hugged him tightly. "I will be back soon." he said softly before following Kuro out of the library.
Once they entered the infirmary Meme saw Akito in bed, seeing the marks on his wrists made him worried. "Akito, are you alright!?" He asked sympathetically, sitting on the bed next to him.

Kuro nodded and stood. "We shall take off then and go see Akito. I just hope he's doing a little better." he said softly, genuinely worried about the poor stable boy.

Rufus hugged Meme back and smiled for him, waving as he disappeared around the corner. Then he sagged against the wall for a moment. He couldn't stay that way for long - he had a safe house to arrange and a letter to write - but for now he stayed where he was, just breathing. Dad'll want the whips, no doubt. He chuckled to himself without humour before going to write a letter to his old school friend. Dear Trouncey,
You owe me a favour, and if I recall correctly, it's a large one. Find me a safe house, somewhere neither your relatives nor mine will ever think to look, and I'll consider it paid. I'll get my own food and such, but the house must accommodate five people for a month. He sent the note via a servant, swearing them to secrecy as they went. Then he wrote the note for his fiance, sealing it up tight and then going to visit the kitchens to find out what could be done about sending food to the safe house. Twenty.

Akito blinked his eyes open slowly. He felt better than he had earlier, though his head and wrists still throbbed. "I'm," he coughed, "fine." When he saw Kuro behind Meme, he blushed a little. "Thank you for carrying me..."

Meme knew Akito was lying, he didn't look fine or sound it either but he didn't want to make a fuss about it and worry his friend. As soon as he heard Akito thank Kuro he couldn't help but feel protective and shot Kuro a sharp glare. "You carried him?? Why would you carry him?" he asked sternly, once he heard the answer he, once again, decided not to make a fuss over it. "I may not like him the way you and Rufus previously thought but I am his friend, so keep your tongue in your mouth you old dog." he grumbled before going back to Akito. "Are you feeling up to walking?" he asked softly, not wanting him to push it too much.

Kuro's cheeks grew a little pink when Akito thanked him. "H-he was weak! He could hardly stand on his own!" he blurted rather loudly which happened to catch the nurses attention. Kuro grumbled softly at Meme's words and turned around. "I'll wait at the door..." he mumbled before walking off in that direction with the female nurses whispering behind his back.

Akito frowed at Meme once Kuro was by the door. "Meme, I couldn't walk. And Kuro..." his blush deepened. "He's kind. He was furious, but he didn't really want to beat me. I know it. And I don't know why I'm defending him but you don't need to have a go at him. It was all orders and if he hadn't defied them I'd have been sick all over the Prince's bedroom."
He paused as he took in what Meme was saying. "Why do I need to walk? Are you alright? What happened?"

Meme gave a small chuckle, perhaps he was feeling better than Meme thought. "Well...at least he's being nice....I'm still keeping my eye on him though!" he promised. "I'm fine, but listen, the Prince knows about our plan. He found the letter from woman he was supposed to marry only she didn't want to be forced to marry Rufus. So we're going to deliver a letter to her explaining that we are going to help her wed the man she wishes. Rufus is going to handle his father and hers. We need your help." he explained, hoping Akito was able to follow him correctly.
