It was getting late, and even though Mia wanted to stick around for a bit longer she knew she had to go home. So of course, she went home, while stopping at the crane booth on the way. Even if the crane booth was in the other direction.
She was not going to miss a day of trying to get a seed from there, that would be a shame to her. Waiting her turn, Mia took one large step forward, landing herself in front of the game. Then taking the controls she tried to get a seed...

Malodore studied the rocks this time, tilting its head to examine the current set-up from as many angles as possible before it took hold of the controls. Perhaps this time it would manage to get a seed?

HARD ROCK
Third time was the charm right? Right? Yep! Holly told herself it was this time or she was giving up and luck was on her side! She'd managed to move the claw into the right position and picked up one of the shiny rocks!

A game she had yet to master (not that she had actually mastered any), Levia approached the crane game with renewed reverence for the contraption. It obviously required much more skill, practice, and experience than what she had.
Nevertheless, the grombie sidled alongside the controls and gave it a shot.

Since she had gotten something out of it the first time, she found herself back at the claw machine. As she lowered the claw onto the rock she had been eyeing, Lizzy leaned forward, nose almost pressing against the glass as the claw enclosed around the rock. As she was about to cheer at her victory, however, the rock slid out from the claw, back into the pile of rocks.
Lizzy stared as the rock fell, as if it fell in slow motion. She then sad faced. Forever.
Or at least until she decided to leave for another booth.

Ys followed the stream of students over to the ever pink and glittery Desu-chan booth and watched the ghoul ahead of her take her turn at the game. She had never tried a crane game, but it looked like fun! When it was her turn, she took her position at the controls and gave it her best effort. The rocks were slippery and the hook wasn't so great at grabbing them, but she found herself totally wrapped up in concentration for this game.
Whoops! It was so close, but as the time ran out, the rock slipped right out of the claw with a thump. No luck this time around, but Ys was determined to get better at this particular game, especially since it was a bit kinder on her seed budget and frankly, it was an awful lot of fun!

Coming back to the crane game to see if his luck would change were he could get a rock out of this machine. Pushing the buttons to make the claw move towards one of the rocks that he picked out.
This time it had been very close, but the claw had still dropped the rock. Adyian shaking his fist he was going to come back again to try and win something from this crane game.

Muka tried to come up with a strategy. He tilted his head and hoped perhaps a different angle would aid him in his endeavor.

Another attempt at the crane game looked promising to Riley. She didn't see too many people managing the maneuver, but she had gotten it on her first try, and failed twice after. Somehow, this did not deter her - starting off with a win always made her more determined to try.
So down the crane went, after she'd angled it precisely for a certain jiggly rock...
Only to pick up air.

Oppa walked up to that rock filled trap once again. Hoping for a prize he once again tried his luck at the prize. Oppa paused before pressing the start button, he was wondering if the machine would have a memory of him trying to bash it in. But that would be ridiculous how could a machine have a memory?
Oppa clicked the start button, and moved the crane towards the most respectable pile of rocks he could spot. The crane went down and.. SUCCESS! It grabbed onto a prize! It started back towards the opening, and suddenly without warning, the claw stopped and opened in the middle of the machine, dropping the prize. Oppa stood there with his jaw open. The machine did remember him! HE KNEW IT! It's just toying with him. He walked away glaring at the machine. It's time would come... It's time would come...

After his recent victory, Sebastian was giving it another go. After all, he had gotten it on his second try! This game couldn't be that hard. He placed his hand on the joy stick and maneuvered it toward a rock.
With a somewhat haughty grin, he pressed the button triumphantly.
Nothing happened.
He pressed the button again. And again. Pretty soon he was just tapping it as fast as he could. "N-no problem. Probably just a glitch," he reassured himself.
The button's clicking noise continued. "A glitch. That's definitely it," he said through clenched teeth. Suddenly the little timer on the machine ran out, and the claw returned to it's normal "ready" position. Sebastian's eyebrows furrowed with this new found deceit.
Did the machine just troll him?

Calder returned with renewed confidence. The game wasn't that hard. It was just moving a stick around and pushing a button. All he had to do was eye it a bit. Aim the crane and line it up right. It didn't take a Plague Doctor to figure that much out.
Rubbing his hands together, Calder reached for the joystick and aimed for one of the shiny pebbles. Once done, he pushed the button. The crane dropped.
AHHH! Close but no guppy. He'd have to try again later.

Perhaps this time it would be more fortunate? The plague doctor had had quite a bit of practice at this by now, after all... it took up the controls and began.
But, alas, while the claw clipped the edge of a rock, it availed Malodore nothing. Ah well.

She had been watching.
Both Calder, and then Malodore, seemed to have no luck with the crane game just as she had for the last few tries. Still, with the plague doctor so close, there was a certain possible hope that it would be good luck for her. So after it was done, she wrapped a tentacle around Malodore's waist and held it from getting away while she took her turn.
She didn't pay as much attention to the details of the mechanics, this time around - whether she won or not didn't seem to matter as much, at the moment.
Her impracticality showed, as the crane barely managed to scrape against a rock before returning to it's place. Still, she didn't quite seem to care. Unraveling her tentacle, she led Malodore away from behind, and whispered something very private - because if anyone else heard her being so sweet, she would have to kill them. I suppose I used up all of my luck, when I found you.

Comming back to the crane game to see if he would have some luck this time in getting a rock out. Walking up to the machine, Adyian started to push the buttons to move the claw around at random to see if that would yield him something this time.
Again the claw yielded nothing when it came back up and shaking his head that he would be back to try again.
