If Herryk was a wise boil, he would have recognized the expression in those eyes of hers. He would have taken note of the irritated flick of her tail. He would have taken the wise route and saluted the big lady for her noble attempt at beating him.
Herryk was not a wise boil.
"Hah! Not so far, hmm?" Gleefully he launched another table with those meaty fists of his, lifting up a hand to shield his eyes so that he could watch it soar across the area.
When it splintered into a million pieces upon impact, Herryk threw back his head and laughed gleefully before turning his attention to the big lady.
"Again!" As he waited for her next throw (he assumed she would just throw the table), Herryk picked up a few spookies and shoved them into his mouth, chewing loudly.
It would be amazing if he walked away from this completely unscathed.

Sura may have been tempted to just sweep her tail underneath Herryk's legs to ground him and then pin him down if she was being a truly sore loser. Yes she was upset that he was throwing things further than she was. But just because she had brute strength didn't mean she had a good throwing arm.
It was a sad true fact.
The red flicker dimmed to a neutral yellow as she observed him. Would he be more difficult to squish than other students? He was certainly bulkier. Then again, maybe that would make him squish more easily because he was already pushing out pieces through his skin. It was...curious.
She took up another table when he challenged again and tossed it with an under arm throw, the six eyes on her chest seeming to try to follow the movement more quickly than the gaze of the head.
She seemed slightly content with that throw.
Though the spookies seemed to garner her attention, the yellow dimming to a strange green color. Was that perhaps a symptom of 'DO WANT'?

The big lady seemed to be a woman of few words. Herryk liked that. Sometimes speaking made things so awkward and he would much rather not have to deal with words.
He caught her gaze, transfixed by the way those eyes of hers changed colors. He'd never seen anything like it and it took him a minute before he realized that she was eyeballing those spookies of his.
Sharing is caring, right?
Reaching down to scoop up his crumpled ball cap, Herryk clutched a bag of the spookies in a big fist before shoving them towards the big lady. It was the last unopened bag he had, and yes, the bag was coated in glitter, but surely the glitter hadn't tainted the delicious noms within?
"Here. Good spookies." That being said, Herryk emptied the crumbled remnants of his last bag into his mouth. So good.

The sudden flash of blue in her eyes was probably the quickest gesture of change in the colossus yet when the spookies were offered to her. If nothing else, the quickest way to Sura's heart was through her stomach. Not to say she would be immediately swept off her feet by the gesture, but it was the easiest way to appease and buy the colossus's friendship.
Though she was by no means delicate and the entire bag of spookies was tested for the ability to fit into her mouth. Ironically, it did fit. So in went the whole thing at once, Sura munching on it contently for about a minute before swallowing it mostly whole.
Then again, this was the ghoul who ate whole trees in her natural form if they fit in her mouth.
Her eyes remained that pacified blue.
"Thank you." she spoke her words carefully, though it wasn't difficult for her to choose that. It was the proper response, wasn't it? However, there was a certain way her voice echoed through her chest like the acoustic chamber of a guitar that made it reverberate and sound louder than she intended. Especially with how softly she spoke.
... ....
Unintended creepy was unintended.

Well, that was interesting, to say the least. Herryk hadn't been expecting her to eat the bag, but he really shouldn't have been so surprised. After all, she had eaten the leg of the table, right? Maybe she was just really hungry. Sometimes Herryk got really hungry, but he'd never eaten a table leg. Maybe he'd never been hungry enough, it was hard to say.
"Welcome."
His fingers twitched around the hat he clutched. He really liked the hat despite the tentacles that were sewn to the inside and despite the glitter that clung to the outside. Herryk clenched his fingers. He could get another hat, right? Well, if he dared to approach that crazy campaign booth again, anyway.
Slowly, so slowly, Herryk offered Sura the hat. Silently he waited for her to take it. Would she eat it? O:
He certainly hoped so. He liked it when her eyes were blue like his. Plus he felt kinda bad that she seemed so hungry. sad

Truly, anything that fit into Sura's mouth could have been considered food. It just had to fit in her mouth first. The colossus considered the hat for a moment, pulling it to her nose and sniffing it. It smelled sort of strange. Not like trees or things she could have eaten.
Should have been eating.
Whichever.
She looked at him, then at the hat, then at him, then at the hat. Her eyes flickered through several colors as she seemed to wonder what it was he was wanting her to do with the hat, before she looked at the offending glitter all over the poor thing.
Did he want her to put it out of it's misery?
Sura obliged willingly, shoving the entire hat into her mouth. It followed the route of the bag of spookies.

Herryk gave Sura a pleased grin. This was almost as fun as flipping tables. Almost. It was pretty impressive to watch the colossus eat. She ate things that Herryk couldn't even think of eating. Bags. Hats. Table legs. Herryk thought it would be cool to eat hats and table legs.
"It's good?" He beamed at her for a long moment before a frown crept over his rugged features. Now Herryk would have to get another hat, which wasn't a big deal. What bothered him was that he didn't have anything else to feed her. He wasn't quite sure why this bothered him as much as it did. He only knew that it did.
"All gone," he said sadly, rubbing a finger alongside his nose. He was at a loss on how to proceed. Did she want to throw some more tables?

If Sura grinned, it probably would have looked more like she was debating utterly destroying something. Then again, the two expressions went hand in hand. She did, however, offer a bit of a smile. No teeth attached. She seemed content, at the very least, her eyes remaining that calm blue.
"It tastes of strange...." she determined after a long moment of thought as to if the hat had been 'good' or not. "But I have removed it as you seem to have wanted....?" she paused, looking at the man as though suddenly questioning if she should have been doing that or not. UMMMMMM!!...Yeah, she had no idea, that much was true. She probably could have asked before hand.
Too late now, however. She seemed content in that. Her attention remained on Herryk steadfastly, however. Even if he didn't have anything to say, she was more or less to just sit there forever doing nothing.
Sura didn't require constant excitement.

From the corner of his eye, he saw Mot toss the bahag his way. Deftly, he caught it with one hand and as he had yet to properly free Astra from beneath Riyo, he quickly donned the loincloth. Albeit begrudgingly, as the horse boil was far more comfortable baring all (he had nothing to hide after all and no shame for his body). He did so partly out of the requests he'd been receiving and partly because he remembered his momma telling him he needed to suit up (so to speak) while he was outside of their Clan's territory.
Now decent (at least by his peer's standards), he turned back to see whether or not Astra was alright and once again "Y' alright under there? Um, miss, I know y' ain't in any position to talk right now, but I gotta do this," he apologized in advance to Riyo as he attempted to lift her body

Astra may have been squished by another ghoul, but as Riyo was lifted up she papered to be quite alright, albeit a little breathless from being squished. "Thankyou Petro..." She quickly shimmered out from underneath, dusting herself off and inspected her wings for any damage. Nope, they were all good, although a little crinkled. Satisfied, she looked back towards the still unconscious riyo whom petro was holding up ( and was immediately thankful that he had his..cloth thingy on)"Is she okay?" She asked him. The ghoul had lost alot of blood...

Deacon had stood by, making absolutely no use of himself. The fact that he hadn't burst into a fit of laughter than had him in tears was taking a lot of work and apparently left no room for doing anything else.
As Riyo was lifted off of Astra, Deacon managed to gather himself enough to speak again. "She's fine," he said, with a grin that he couldn't hold back.
"But if you're concerned, I'm sure I know how to wake her up."

Sure, Riyo was just fine. She was unconscious, after all. Which, if one could ask her, was a hell of a lot better than being amongst this large gaggle of (partially nude) boils and ghouls.
Her body stayed limp in Petro's arms as he lifted her up, the ripped shirt falling off her face as her head limply fell back. Sleeping like a baby... Smeared in blood.
While his owner might have been out, Felix was still very much awake and trotting around with his new best friend... Until he caught sight of a certain blonde out of the corner of his lens-covered eye.
Alarm bells went off in the nergal hazcat's head as he rushed to the scene, immediately hissing at Petro who, he assumed, had been the cause of this.

Marosa tilted his head curiously at all the gathered people, his main interest in being the large guy that was almost clad in nudity.
He walked up to Herryk, motioning at the girl that had just eaten the hat. He was very curious. "Weren't ye goin' t'wear that, mate?"

They could have never have seen it coming. In fact, from how things were, you wouldn't have really guessed that the tables had been hiding anything. But as Desu-chan waltz into the area, she stopped at one table with a rather broken and mangled leg. Flipping it over, the table had something carved into it. ( 030) <3!!! (OuO )! Un the the table had been a very large, very heavy crate stuck in the ground. Yanking it up and out, Desu-chan spent to tip flipping the top off and leaving the contents out for anyone to pick up. What did the chest contain? Protection charms.

Ennéa looked at the flipped tables in bemusement and reached out and flipped one herself just for fun. All around her monsters and shadows and shades sat around and talked and socialized, not paying her the last bit of attention. So Ennéa sat down and subtly monster watched as she waited for her friends.
After years of being scolded not to 'daydream' and watch the shadows and things that crept along the edges it was kind of weird to just sit there and look around so openly. But whatever, the festival was fun and she was enjoying herself.
Ennéa settled down and waited, wishing she had thought to bring her notebook. Already she had several new creature entries she wanted to make.
