"Claustrophobia..." Hatsuma explained flatly as ever. "I wasn't expecting to get caught in chains so it was a surprise..." She finished simply pretty much lying, not really to Notwen specifically more to those who might be listening in on their conversation. "It was a matter of being unprepared for the match that's all there is to it." She added bluntly not bothering to add more information than was necessary. Oasis was more competent at healing than she realized but it was just the girls way she figured.

Kyu clicked his tounge in disgust as Sai-turned-Saikoro left the room, "b*****d didn't even let me finish my analogy..." Saikoro's last words before he left the room didn't phase Kyu at all. While he didn't want to see another innocent get killed, Kyu was roughly seventy percent sure that the Takera Uchiha here was the same Takera Uchiha who died back during the Frost mission. If he was... he was dead to Kyu anyways, dying again was no loss to Kyuzaku or the Village. If anything, that just meant that he had one less pest to worry about in the future.
After Saikoro left the room, Hatsuma appeared, sporting some new bandages, and her usual stoic demeanor. Her movements were a little stiffer than usual. It became apparent when she made a tight wave towards the girl at the other end of the room.
Kyu's attention to Hatsuma disappeared when Notwen flipped an internal switch and began to yell at his interns. Kyu only really knew them as the chatty ninja in the corner. He reamed them out about their lack of ninja perception (or rather, average human perception) to notice the entire stadium going silent for the late Hayato. He critiqued their inability to even notice that there had been a murder right over their shoulders. With the wrath of a drill seargent, he gave orders to his underlings; to keep completely quiet during the next match and to observe what was actually going on this time around.
He's got his hand full with those two. While he may not be chuunin or jonin yet, he has the voice of one. I'll have to see if those two make anything of themselves some day. With a boss like Notwen, they might just be competent shinobi someday, and not just a pair of cookie-cutter would-be-assassins.
Notwen took the initiative to seek medical help afterwards, from the kunoichi Hatsuma had waved to earlier. She was meditating in the opposite corner of the room from Kyu. When she broke from her meditation she seemed happy to help, in a childish sort of way. Her name appeared to be Oasis, and she appeared to be the kind of person who referred to herself in third person or third person on a whim. She was humble about her abilities, but the fishy genin could tell from her eyes that there was more behind them then she let on. They probed his wounds with curiosity and intelligence. She seemed to have an idea of where to begin, but was cautious about potentially bringing more harm upon the Kumo genin.
Cute. Kyu thought, watching the desert girl and Notwen chat about his wounds. Hatsuma and Oasis were quite a pair. They were full of desert charm, but they handled the theme in their own unique way. I suppose I should go say 'hi'. Kyu got up from his seat on the arm of the couch and walked over to the group, "So, Notwen, who did you say gave ya' that injury again?"

"I see..." said Notwen, who was a bit crestfallen from hearing Oasis say that healing him would be beyond her current capabilities, but he did respect the fact that she didn't try to operate regardless. "Thank you, Oasis. I appreciate your insight and concern. You're very wise for someone as young as yourself." The dark-skinned blonde bowed lightly to the red-haired kunoichi. It was then that Hatsuma began to reply about what had gone down in her match against Takera. Apparently she was claustrophobic, and getting caught in the chains came as a surprise to her. For a revelation like that one to come out of the mouth of a kunoichi who didn't seem to be bothered by much was a shock to Notwen, but who was he to judge? There were times when he was arrogant about his abilities and ended up getting beaten in the process. "I hear you, Hatsuma." replied the crippled Uchiha with a light chuckle.
It seemed things were getting ready to kick off at the match. There was an expectant vibe coming from the spectators all around the arena, as well as from some of the patrons in the VIP room. Notwen heard footsteps coming from behind him. He turned to see Kyu coming towards the small cluster. The fishy genin inquired about the identity of the person that crippled him, a question the dark-skinned blonde had not been expecting at all. Man, he has some good ears to have heard that much from all the way over there... he thought, before collecting himself and replying. "You might not be surprised by this, but it was your buddy Saikoro. He was involved in some shady activities before he wounded me."

Oasis nodded her head gently "I'm sorry. I would really like to be able to help you. Uhm... Oasis is going to continue training, so if you still need help later, or have some new problem... Which I hope not. Then if you find me again, Oasis will surely try to help, unless there are circumstances that would prohibit." she states with a smile as she rocked her head to the side tossing her red hair with the energy of the gesture. "Also, Oasis will talk with papa an maybe there is something he could provide for your arm, if you would be interested should we meet again." she states with a grin as she thought about the things her father has been able to invent over the years, one such device was a replacement arm for an individual in her home who lost his arm to an accident, it was a very simple prosthetic but it was function and able to be used in the mans lively hood and seeing as he was a smith it proved the durability of the replacement limb. She didn't know if he would take her seriously on any of her offer but she had to make the offer anyway, good will was ingrained in her. Oasis turned her head to look at the new comer in a somewhat odd fashion her head still cocked off to the side she rotated her head with it still angled off to the side to look at the blue, or was it gray? individual. She wasn't sure why she hadn't seen him before this point but he surely stood out, what with having skin tone similar to a fish she saw while adventuring with Hatsuma. "...Your skin, is blue... er... gray... Gray-blue?" she paused and with her head still in that awkward position scratched at her temple. "Yea... Gray-blue. Hi... Oasis." she states as she turned to fully face him and introduced herself to him she even offered a hand shake in greeting.

(Whisper is a whisper, Trained shinobi, not stupid enough to just let everyone else hear/read his lips)
"Interesting, that's not how I recall it." Saikoro stated in a cold tone, as he walked up towards the group glaring directly at Notwen, "You never did explain why the hell you were following me for a month. It's a bit curious that a boy that swore he was only conveniently 'napping' in the same area I was doing a mission in ended up following from some random village in Earth Country all the way back to a path near Fire. Don't try to make me out to be the bad guy when you have more skeletons to hide then me, so I will warn you once last time. Stay out of my affairs or next time you will loose more then just your arm." The man said calmly without bothering to hide his killing intent from those that were around him. With a sigh, he turned away from them and moved closer to Kyu. "I had a job to fulfill, make sure the entire team was brought home safely. You can listen to his story, but you can ask me for the truth. By the way, check his records... He's not from Lightning, there's a warrant for his arrest from Wind." Saikoro whispered softly for Kyu's ears only before making his way to the couch yet again.
With a yawn, Saikoro plopped his sword against the table by the couch before lazily tossing himself onto the couch. Stretching out luxuriously along it's body, he craned his head over the arm of the furniture and called out to Notwen once more, "Oh, by the way! You're looking great, man~ Did you loose some weight?" He chuckled to himself, knowing full well the cruelty of his words could cause the boy anger but he would never dare do a thing.

Kyu smiled at the young girl and took her hand in his for a firm shake. Her stumbling over the color of his skin was expected, but sort of adorable in its own way. "My name's Kyuzaku Hoshigaki. You can call me Kyu, if you like. It is certainly nice to meet you Oasis."
Notwen explained that Saikoro is the guy who lobbed off the Lightning-nin's arm, and that Kyu should be careful around him. Apparently, Saikoro was a shady guy outside of Kiri. Kyu looked at Notwen with a expression so unphased that it simply said, 'not a single ******** was given that day'. Getting the knowledge that a known murderer was indeed a murderer came as no surprise.
Kyu's facial expression changed to surprise quickly when the slick-as-ice voice belonging to Saikoro graced the room. Over already? Kyu thought with surprise. Saikoro shredded apart Notwen's warning relentlessly, and returned a serious question back to him.
Kyu became silent now, as to pick up every bit of information he could. Just like he had expected, he was delivered Saikoro's side of the story through a soft whisper. The information was very interesting. Notwen was a fugitive from Wind. Chances are there was more to Notwen to learn about. The genin would be sure to add it to his shinobi to-do list. Researching Notwen placed somewhere below confronting Sai about his identity and finding Swords of the Mist, but still somewhere higher than tracking down Takera Uchiha.
The intensity in the room was incredible. The blue-skinned genin felt like weights had been hung from his very soul. In an attempt to save the atmosphere, Kyu held up his hands and laughed, "Come on, guys! Looks like the tourney is over. Let's just try and finish these exams in good spirits, and in no time, we can go back home and back to our normal lives, y'know what I mean?"

After being able to make his painfully slow walk through the crowd into the event building, Takeshi managed to get himself out of the way of everyone who was leaving by kinda of hiding in a corner and not moving. Looking around the area didn't really accomplish much though as all of the faces were covering any signs for him to look at. It wasn't until he looked into the far corner where he saw some people who were taller then normal, and then some people taller then those people. It was a stairwell he was looking at and not many people were leaving from there. He was about to go to that stairwell but he noticed another one that was closer, and also had a sign chained to the ceiling that had only one word, which was contestants. He knew that was where he was needing to go, so braving the mass of exiting people Takeshi forced himself into the sea of beings pushing his right shoulder in first to make room for the rest of his body. Again, this process was a slow one as he had no intention in harming anyone by using pure force to speed up his crossing. It felt as if he were walking through a raging river, which was part of his training a few years back. Then again though, he was able to use all of his strength and that was still hard so this would be nothing. Finally after crossing for five minutes and three apologies later he'd made his way to the stairwell. He walked up the long stair case and used his peripheral vision to look at the doors so that he wouldn't miss his turn off. At the very top of the stairs was a hallway in which there were a few doors, many for high profile and wealthy people. They were mostly empty now as their guards were no longer guarding the doors. He walked down the hallway until he noticed a door that was slightly ajar. Moving closer, he could hear people talking yet couldn't hear exactly what was being said. He went over to the door and opened it only to notice a group of two females and two males talking. There was also someone on a couch speaking to the group as well. One of the females had red hair and blue markings on her skin, while the other one was of a dark complexion and had four arms. The two males talking to the females were one with a very dark complexion, it even looked blueish grey, while the other male had the same type of dark complexion as the four armed female but he only had one arm. The person on the couch had relatively short hair, but most obvious was what he was carrying around, which was a massive sword that looked quiet impressive. It seemed that everyone was busy and he knew not to interrupt ones conversation so he moved himself over to a chair that was in sight of the group while slightly relaxing. The trip to this village was quiet a fair sized one, so he figured that his feet could use the rest.

"Greetings again Kyu..." Hatsuma commented simply when the shark genin arrived on the scene, it was rather odd that the group she had in the second portion of the exam would gather around once more. they spoke of a saikoro who promptly made an appearance on the scene as his last competitor was a no show. It led Hatsuma to wonder what happened to the genin takera she had fought what felt to be just moments in the match she had dropped from. they spoke of deceptive nature and the like when it came to this Saikoro person. "I'm not one to state anything against a stranger's character but I know deception is a major part of what we do in our practice... " She commented bluntly on the matter of the possibility that this Saikoro might be some psychopath murderer or something. It wasn't her place to judge such things.

Ishinon would merely sigh, as Notwen seemingly complained about what he and Nova was doing. It really didn't mean much that someone had died in a arena, it atleast meant that someone had stepped in there without a halfassed conviction to fight. It merely meant that Ishinon might have more of a interest in watching now compared to before when it merely seemed like a game, where both contestants would walk out of it alive. I wonder why he's so bent up over someone dying in the arena? I mean that's kinda weird to get upset about, unless that one who died was someone close to him. Even so if he enters the arena he should know what it means, instead of playing around like kids they should fight to survive, only the winner should get to live, thats what i remember from fighting in a arena atleast. Alot of those thoughts passed through Ishinon's head, but he was smart enough to not bring any of it up right now.
Yet it seemed as more time passed the final fight wasn't going to happen as it was announced that this Takera guy wasn't going to fight and that Saikoro was the winner. Ishinon would stand up as both of his hands would pass through his hair. When Ishinon's hands had passed through his hair he would twist his head a around a little as he decided to not sit around anymore, especially not since it all was done now anyway. Ishinon would end up walking around the room in a certain pace as he was really bored of staying still by now just walking around as far towards the edges of the room as he could get without walking in to anything.

Notwen froze upon hearing Saikoro's voice coming from behind him. He swiftly glanced over to the monitor, which said that were currently reiterating the reason why Saikoro was the winner: Takera was a no-show. Boy do i feel stupid... thought the dark-skinned blonde. He had just reprimanded Ishinon and Nova for not paying attention a few minutes ago and now here he was caught off guard. Saikoro went off and narrated his part of the story, leaving out the fact that he had approached Notwen under the assumption that he was following him in the first place. Finally the Mist ninja went on to calmly warn the crippled Uchiha about staying out of his affairs otherwise the next time he would lose more than just an arm. Saikoro didn't even bother hiding the killing intent he was exuding, which bothered Notwen greatly. The dark-skinned blonde watched as the man went over to Kyu and whispered something into his ear before continuing on to one of the couches. Once there, Saikoro removed his sword and laid it on the table while before laying on the couch. A few seconds later the Mist ninja asked Notwen if he had lost some weight, obviously a ruse to upset him. The dark-skinned blonde was grinding his teeth, ready to speak out against Saikoro when Kyu tried to defuse the situation. Taking in a deep breath and slowly releasing it, Notwen cleared all emotion from his face. "You're right, Kyu. There's no reason to end these exams on a bad note." There was nothing the crippled Uchiha could do in this situation. He was exhausted and Saikoro was a man not to be trifled with. --Total VIP room lines = 1675
