Well Gilyan here is an update on everything lol.
Sovi has graciously decided to play as the killer xd , so we already have him creating his own unique persona under Myrkari Direlisle's account. So if you see that particular username running around the guild then know that it is Sovi behind it xp .
Anyway we plan of having the event work something like a scavenger hunt of sorts.
Throughout the story the killer will leave clues and riddles as to his motive and identy. These riddles and clues will be pre-made so Sovi won't have to think them up as he goes.
Anyway these clues will be nothing more than riddles to where the "real" clue is.
For example, the killer leaves a riddle like this
Between a candle and the dark
The grey shadows lie
Of Ashen Blades and forgotten days
The fallen will come to rise.
So this clue would lead the members to the Ashen Blade RP thread. And in the first post there would be the "real" clue as to who the killer is.
It would test the member's knowledge of the RPs in this guild.
Also once someone discovered a clue it would be posted in the Events section of the event sub forum for all to view. I may offer a small prize to the first person that finds the clue. Perhaps 100g to those that find the "real" clues posted in the various RP's first.
Anyway after this scavenger hunt sort of thing and the added aspect of the RPing going on and the whole issue of the murder mystery comes to a close, there will be a contest as to who the killer is. Of course the answer would be Myrkari Direlisle. And whoever PMs me the right answer 1st will win the 1K prize that I will be taking care of. I will also be taking care of the 100g little prizes for the people that find the clues first.
Anyway I'm off to finish up the Event Forum and to get cracking on the clues and such.

Alright now that my brain has been turned to mush in making up riddles, and trying to make them rhyme lol here is what I came up with.
Each "Scavenger Hunt" clue will lead to an RP where I will post the "real clue" I have them all posted side by side with the matching "real" clue going with the "hunt" clue that aids the member's in finding it.
Some of the clues are simple riddles that lead to a location in the Manor and some lead to clues as to the identity of the murder. The final clue is something that you must look at literally ignoring the words almost completely. Well I will explain when I get there lol.
This Clue on the Left will be posted in the Event forum, and the ones on the right will be posted in the 1st posts of various RPs in the guild.
 
This first clue leads the members to the first post of the Ashen Blade RP. Where I post a riddle, the answer to the riddle is "A clock." Because you obviously you know the name "Clock" and you can see the "hands" of a clock, also the number 13 can not be found on it's face.
Anyway it will lead to the grandfather clock in the entrance hall of the manor where there will be another clue.
 
This clue will lead to the "Darkness that Lies Within" RP, where another riddle will be posted in the 1st post. The riddle at first is simple a little question concerning loyalty proposed by the killer, but the riddle in itself is rather simple.
The answer to the riddle is a "Candle" because it begins tall and as it is burned it becomes short. This leads to the location on a large rather ugly candle in the study that is half melted, Sitting by the candle shall be another clue.
 
The next clue which is found by the candle in the study shall lead to the Immortalis RP. The riddle found there is rather high on a scale of difficulty, but it is not absolutely needed for the members to figure it out, because the final clue will lead to the answer anyway.
Anyway aside from that the riddle in itself states the words" My Dire" in the last time. If anyone happens to notice the first two letters in Myrkari are "My" and the first four letters in Direlisle are "Dire".
 
The next clue will lead to The Darkened RP where the next riddle will be posted.
Again this riddle is much like the last, simply something extra that could easily give away the name of the killer.
The quote at the beginning of the riddle is straight from Myrkari Direlisle's profile page. Should any care to look they may begin to suspect him as the killer.
But the first clue that leads to the Darkened also leads to the "secret room" off the side of the library, where the final riddle shall be found.
And the final Clue~
As some of you may have noticed the First letters of every statement in the final clue spell out MYRKARI. Hence revealing the name of the murderer.

Well, Sovi could do this. He could post a serious of false riddles that lead to dead ends. Or, he posts a seriers of riddles that point out someone else as the killer, but that person gets killed off when someone guesses them as the killer.

Sovi can do as he wishes if he wants to. As long as it is possible for someone to figure out who the killer is. Though he can't actively use Myrkari's account to post riddles and such...or things would be all to easy to figure out.
I could send him the password to Astaldera's account so he could give clues through our guild manor's butler lol.

Whoa!
Congratulations Soviet! You had me totally fooled. I would've sworn it was either Crow or Ru'ni going around as Myrkari. It was something about the name I think....and the fact that Myrkari just joined Gaia four days ago.
I feel awful, not coming to the Crew Dept. in days...Not to mention the fact that I was actually finally getting to believe that Myrkari wasn't another mule. xp
So, Crow....what would you have me do?
I must warn you though..I'm gonna be leaving for two weeks the 3rd.
So, if you need another body..you know where to get one. xd
