ears that cannot hear;
lips that cannot speak... Keleios didn't bother struggling as the roots wrapped her tightly... She swore something snapped in her somewhere, and pain shot through her.... Ignoring it, she focused instead on trying desperately to calm herself down as she stayed still within the binding of roots...
She saw the snarl from Risa and her own nose crinkled in response. She wanted to go back after her, she'd threatened Lorelei, whether she knew that Risa would never hurt the baby or not, she'd threatened her... Which made her an enemy right now. Eyes glowing red, Kelei simply stared at Risa, into her own rage and Risa's, and tried to fight it all back to where she always bottled it away for later use. ...than a heart

Toju didn’t dare move as he watched them. The amount of anger that was present in this clearing rivaled wars. He watched as the both of them paused and walked in to the middle of the clearing “Both of you need to calm down.” He said loud enough for the both of them to hear him....a guardian angel in disguise. ]]OoC[[  ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"as it is, if she comes down at the moment I will rip her in half" she looked up at Keleios "your biggest test and you failed Keleios, you failed because you couldn't keep your cool even when taunted. You failed because had Lorelei been with you and not within my shield YOU would have killed your own daughter, you took my bait and you lost yourself control you saw nothing but your own anger and rage and lashed out" Risa's hand touched the ground beside her "that display would have killed acres of my land...land that has been in my family for longer then you have been alive...and that's why they attacked you, those roots aren't me...well I asked them for assistance how much they gave depended on them..and from what I can see you have an apology to make Keleios or you will be in there for a very long time.." and Lorelei I would rather have eyes that cannot see;
ears that cannot hear;
lips that cannot speak... Keleios was rather pissed off... Not the rage that had been in her before, but Risa's words, now frustrated her... She'd let go because of Lorelei being in the shield, true, she'd still lost control, unlike she had in decades, probably longer... Toju's interfering and telling her to calm down, didn't help much, but she let that go.... With a soft internal sigh, Keleios let the last of the anger go, relaxing completely, she stroked one finger along the inside of the roots. She sent out all the feeling of hatred, letting it all leave her completely pliable and open.... Her eyes faded to a soft gold color, and she sent out the feeling of apology to the trees. She couldn't speak, and could barely move, so she'd just have to settle for that and hope they knew she meant it...
It would have hurt her if she'd destroyed anything on this land, it had become her home, and everything here meant something to her... She thought back to the late night walks through the woods that had gotten her in so much trouble with Toju for leaving alone... Wait... Had they watched over her even then...? With another sigh, Keleios gave up completely... They could kill her right now and she wouldn't defend herself, she'd damn near killed the whole forest, and all she could do was chant apologies over and over in her mind. ...than a heart

The forest shuddered with anger and when Risa mentioned that Keleios’ display could have destroyed a good portion of the land he turned and looked up at her. I didn’t know she had that in her. he thought loudly. He walked over to Risa and held an hand out to help her up “Maybe can you convince the forest not to crush the love of my life?” he asked knowing he was about to get the dagger stare.
Toju could still feel the flow of power through him but it was slightly muted. Toju assumed it was because Risa had used a good deal of her stored power to fight Keleios and that was the reason.

lips that cannot speak... Keleios stood carefully, she was pretty sure the trees had punished her the same way she'd hurt Risa... She was shaky, but under control, and stayed completely silent as she stood straight and looked from Risa to Toju. "The forest could have killed me, and I wouldn't have uttered a thing in objection... You must realize if not for Risa, it would have burned...." she sighed and dropped back to her knees, landing as lightly as she could. Bowing her head, she wouldn't meet Risa's eyes. "I believe I also owe you an apology... I'm pretty sure I broke something on you, since they broke something in me..." her voice was soft and submissive as she kept her gaze somewhere in the region of the womans shoes. ...than a heart

Toju stepped away from his Mistress as she slapped his hand away. And looked at her with nothing but astonishment when she showed her broken rib. He looked as she seemed to pulsate with anger and Toju didn’t want to have a part of it. The roots finally unfurled themselves from around Keleios and she fell to the ground. He walked over to he and gave her a looking over to see if there was anything visibly wrong. After he was please with her not looking too damaged he went to take her hand but she fell to the ground, looking as if she was bowing to a master. This interaction had only server to confuse Toju so he threw his arms in the air. “I can’t take this anymore.” He said with a huff as he walked away....a guardian angel in disguise. ]]OoC[[ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

lips that cannot speak... Kelei relaxed back and stroked light fingers over the soil beneath her, still apologizing in her mind. She took the bottle from Risa and took a long drink. "Don't bother with the pain stuff... I can keep it away somewhat..." with a sigh, she moved out to the border of the clearing and relaxed, waiting for Risa to start in on Toju. ...than a heart

Toju halted in place as Risa waved her hand “So, my turn?” he asked with a little smile. As Risa continued to talk to Kelei, Toju started removing clothes. It was cold this time of year but his adrenalin was running so he didn’t feel it. It only took but a second and Toju was in nothing but his jeans. “I have learned a few new tricks since you showed me how to control this form.” He rolled his neck and a few cracks filled the forest. While he was pinned to the ground he started loosening up.
He didn’t wait for Risa to let his feet go when he started the transformation. His back arched as his eyes were blackened out. The tar filled his mouth and dripped down his neck, as the small cuts opened on his arms. The tar flowed from the wounds down to cover his hands and a few moment black claws formed. The last of the transformation happened as his wings were covered in the tar and his feet. When it stopped this horrific screech left his mouth as he readied himself for the fight....a guardian angel in disguise. ]]OoC[[ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The forest is already pissed if you-" she was cut off by his screech the ground began to move 'shitshitshitshit!' Risa sprang up and ran over to Toju her eyes stared into his dominating and daring him to move dark form or not she'd punish him if he so much as moved. He was already transformed, she felt the roots stirring beneath her and the anger of her land in her heart she was going to have to hurt him the forest would want nothing less, she spared him a moment of sympathy before touching ooze covered gem around his neck she sent her power flooding through it the waves of power met and exploded up and into Toju lightening strips of her magic into his body her power threw him back to his original form, seconds passed and she let go. She looked at him and hissed through clenched teeth her arm pressed against her rib "fool, the forest is awake, your job today was to learn how to control my magic. the only reason I fought Keleios was because I needed to see what she was capable of and help her. I know what you can do, I helped make you! You feather brained twit a minute longer and you would have feed the earth. What is wrong with the two of you!? Use your heads." Risa took long breaths she'd felt his pain as she'd struck him..it was only fair. It still pissed her off. "gather yourself and comfort your woman I am going to go check on Lorelei and Faye, when your ready come get me and we will continue." With a sigh, she relaxed back, waiting and trying to keep her breathing calm so that she didn't agitate the broken ribs she knew she had... Her fingers kept trailing over the dirt next to her, soft and careful, as she continued to make her amends. ...than a heart

The snap out of his dark for was horrifically painful add that to getting chastised by his Mistress and Toju was obviously wounded. He pushed himself off the ground and started dressing again. Once he slipped his gloves on he went to sit next to Keleios “Well, I feel dumb.” He said then looked over at her “How’s the rib?” he asked. It only took Toju a moment to find his center and he was calm.
He pushed himself off the ground, kissed Keleios’ head and walked over to Risa. He stood at her side and waited for her to be ready to teach him “I am sorry, Mistress, I misunderstood your meaning. It won’t happen again.” He said remorsefully. “How is the rib?” he asked looking at her. It looked like she was in a lot of pain but how could she still be functioning so well? He asked himself as he watched her move. She smiled at Faye "I hope Rin protected you from the brunt of most of that" she said before looking back at Lorelei "Aunty Risa is gonna have to teach mommy and daddy so much little one" she said cooing at the baby, she rocked Lorelei while Toju and Keleios talked while she did she hummed, a song her mom used to hum to her before she went to sleep it was an old elf song song that mother sang to their children to keep nightmares at bay and to protect them while they slept everytime she hummed it she felt old magic on her lips. Soon Lorelei was sound asleep Risa bundled her up kissed her on the forehead and placed her back in the orb, the top closed and Risa gave the orb a gentle push and it began to rock.
Risa felt Toju approach she turned and looked at him as he began to speak, she stood tall shoulders back "I will be fine, Toju" the only sign that betrayed the pain she was in, was the slight tightening around her eyes "I understand you and Keleios are ready to throw your biggest strength at anything that threatens your daughter but you have to understand, this fight won't all be brute strength, this fight may very well turn into love. They may wait until she is of age and before her choice to strike in the way of a handsome young man who knows how to steal a heart.
