SiberDrac Shaula: sorry, glazed over the part about the motorbike, apparently. As you're a young'n and there's no offered backstory, that'll cost you 3 AP if it's in good condition, 2 AP if it's not. Omega overlooked it too, so it turned out to be completely irrelevant if she had one or not...they're hot-footing it instead. I like this way better anyways! *Lexi shudders at the thought of enjoying shooting people...and suspects the problem isn't in the aiming...* Nyan-Doggie? (Have you guys seen the Nyan-Cat stuff?) Prepare for unnecessary rant:
The word
is
godMODE.
GODMODE.
G - O - D - M - O - D - E - .
Pet peeve of mine, and iD's, and like fifteen out of the twelve people here have used it wrong. GodMODDING is when you MODERATE out of hand, by impossi-dodging, auto-hitting, creating magical, uncalled-for extra characters, or otherwise doing things that should be at a moderator's sole discrepency. It is OKAY in some circumstances, like hordes of enemies, casual around-town conversation, etc. GodMODING is when you enter GODMODE and become invincible and able to pull other characters around like they're on puppet strings. It is NEVER OKAY EVER except at prior discrepency of one of us or the person who's character you've taken.
iD and I will GODMOD consistently because as mods, we are in fact gods. But except in certain specific circumstances that require it, we will not GODMODE.
Thank you for listening to my mini-rant.
Yes I have seen this Nyan-Dog and he is viscerally troubling >.> I feel like a certain cat has been eaten.
Editing for grammar is beautiful and encouraged.

I feel that the unnecessary rant was directed at me and if so, I apologize. I honestly did not know that there was a difference. (I did like the "15 out of 12 people on here" comment though hehehe)
Omg, Nyan-Dog is so much darker now! Also, I'm not sure how Nyan-Cat ate ho-oh unless it has some sort of detachable snake jaw which is just disturbing to think about.

I'd say I cared if I had made the mistake, but I don't.
Just... nah.
@Firearms: Shotguns are great, but eventually you run up against armor or light vehicles. You'll be prayin' for FMJ NATO rounds when that day rolls around, and Paul... well, Paul delivers. At range.
And since we've all established we like different guns, this is basically my favorite group ever. The discussion we could (and will) have.
@Nyanstuffs: NYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYANYAN and I can't even manage to keep that up

Arthuritis592 I feel that the unnecessary rant was directed at me and if so, I apologize. I honestly did not know that there was a difference. (I did like the "15 out of 12 people on here" comment though hehehe). It was set off by that, but it was built up by a long series of unforgivable mistakes misinformed statements made by a long list of people >_>
@Bayer's firearms: My personal favorite is Richard, the warlock, whose arms are actually on fire. I assume when you say "all" you mean Blackbird, yourself, and Windfiar. My favorite real gun is a Remmington 1100 in 12-gauge firing slugs, but I'm certain those here of greater military experience have plenty of reasons for why that is wrong. I like it because it was the first gun I did any extensive reading on, even if it's somewhat outdated. And illegal.
@Bayer: I care if you make the mistake. Significantly -_-

I like hollow point ammunition.
And revolvers, railguns, anything that shoots explosives, and shotguns.
I'm also a sucker for turrets and chainguns and a big fan of improvised weapons (I've lent considerable knowledge on those to Alyssa).
Also, I like the abuse of anti-mat guns used on people.

Okay, so, I appear to have come down with a severe case of Walking Death (a.k.a. Putrefaction of the Frontal Lobe, a.k.a. Necrotizing Fasciitis Cranians, a.k.a. Omnomnom de Brainz) for no reason at all and am thus unable to think coherently or keep track of time. Because of this and the fact that this means iD has to do some of my work and organize for our trip to Florence and Rome these coming five days (hooray, Bastille Day weekend!), now is an excellent time for those of you who are in the midst of conversations about how and when to leave to complete those conversations. I think about... five of you? need an answer kind of desperately before those details can be set down, so we'll try to work those out tonight.
Pray to whatever God(s)/god(s) you believe in (or the universe at large, if that's your gambit, or even a colorful milieu of less omnipotent, supernaturally endowed entities) that this ends soon, 'cuz it is hella awful.

@Jikail: To quote something I told one of my friends about Just Cause 2: "Ninjas can take bullets, but they can't handle rockets for s**t."

Oh, I was speaking from the character's perspective- which is to say an aging man who is a strong advocate of the shotgun because it fulfills all his needs: home defense, with an emphasis on the murderizing of tender, fleshy things.
I, personally, enjoy a good myriad of mechanized death-dealers. Always good to be well-rounded.

Jikail: anti-mat guns?
Bayer: rockets are for bitches, real machos shoot lasers out of their nipples and the tip of every strand of hair! and real Nyan kill things by forcing them to crash into their rainbow lightcycle trails. Much more effective than projectile weapons.

AntiMaterial Guns - inluding anti-tank guns, guns that shoot specialised ammunition designed for armor-piering, exploding (explosive rounds ftw), and incendiary.
Pretty much all guns that can be used to do major damage against vehicles, ammo dumps, buildings, and the like.
But notice I say guns.
So this doesn't include mortars and things.
These are handheld, if you shoot a person it's a warcrime, weapons.
If steampunk is more your style, consider the Puckle Gun, and the old 19th century gatlings.
And volley guns of those previous eras.
Not quite anti-mat guns, but I imagine they could take down embedded enforcement if they got close enough.

Any mistakes I make outside of a structured writing setting are SEP.
OOC and in fact, all times when I'm not running the gauntlet as an author is not to be considered my finest, best, or even marginal writing.
Therefore, I only sweat it when it's worth sweating.
Besides, at least I don't type like;
lol, wtf? lern2rlaxman werdzrwerdz, like lol. F'shizzle. j/k j/k hey yano wut I did 2day? Nuthin lol.
I die a little inside when I see things like this ^.
Ain't got the ain't is, haven't meaning, got the have got to be due to changes.
Word yo dawg.
Etc.
If I make a particularly horrible mistake while typing outside the author gauntlet I'll fix that though, I do have -some- principal.
