Albert was passed out on a chair, a book on updated skill sets for different bloodlines rising and falling on his chest with his breathing. He had passed out waiting for the new girl to return and was left in this appearance.

Dom descended stairs, upon more stairs until he found this man. Dom wasn't sure if he wanted to wake him, but he needed some direction. He leaned in close, looking at the man before backing off and stepping to the side. He gently put a hand on the man's shoulders and gave him a gentle shake. "Scuse me, but I need training in the art of Machinery."
(I guess I'll bug this guy.)

Albert snorted awake, startled for a moment as he almost fell out of his chair. "Oh! I-I'm sorry," he said as he adjusted his glasses. Straightening himself out, he smiled. "Machines you said? Can you tell me anything else about yourself?"

Dom shrugged. "Just a typical human. I have connections with fire, but I'm uninterested in using fire to fight my battles. I'd much rather learn how to build machines before anything else."

"Alright. I can teach you Magnetize and Tool Tinkering: Scope out right. Then I figure Add-on Creation will be the best C Rank skill to learn for now."

Magnetize
Rank: D (1 posts)
Description: The basic skill for the Mechanist. They would first need to come into contact with the metal object they desire to magnetize. They release some energy into it and then they can move it around as desired. They can only move the object, or stop it from moving they cannot manipulate it in any other way.

Tool Tinkering: Scope
Rank: D (1 posts)
Description: The slightly unusual skill of the Mechanist but quite needed. This skill allows you to make a mechanism that functions similarly to binoculars or a scope. At trainee only one add-on is possible; at novice still 1; at adept 2; 3 at expert; and at master 4 can be attached. This can be attached to your hat helmet, or even replace your eye(s) but does not replace your head. There is a skill for that further down the list. May require surgery.

Add-on Creation
Rank C (2 posts)
Description: The basic skill of the mechanist class this is where their true power lies. They can easily make tiny things to add onto their usual equipment making them more powerful. This skill allows the Mechanist to actually craft their Add-Ons. The next post contains the add-ons that can be created.

Dom nodded, taking a spare spanner off his harness. He flipped it between his fingers, thinking about how to magnetize the object. He played with the idea of literally magnetizing it with something on his person, but decided that learning how to magnetize things was what he desired. He put a little energy into the spanner and got a slight reaction. [+] It faintly floated out of his hand. He let it drop back into his palm before giving it more though. If he put more energy into the act, maybe there'd be a better reaction. And there was; he put a little more into it, and gave it life. Before long, he could make the spare spanner spin in circles. [Magnetize Learned]

He was going to put the spanner away, but had the though he may need it for his next trick. A scope that could zoom in and out. He pondered this for a minute and sat down so he could work better. "Don't worry, I like working on the ground. It's more solid anyway..." he said, drifting off into a daze. He took his goggles off and began implementing more lenses in them, as well as a focusing lens, and a twisting motion to increase the distance. Shortly after, he integrated a bit of metal into the goggles, all leading to wires on both sides. They were ready, but for now, he coiled the wires up behind the strap to keep them out of his face. [Tool Tinkering: Zoom Scope]

His next task wasn't to make something, but to make something. It sounded odd, but it was the truth. In making nothing, he'd make so much more. He began to ponder the things he could make and attach to himself. He began to ponder the endless capabilities and combinations that he could create and use in battle. Well, not him, or rather his creations. His dream team of a bunch of robots with different capabilities. A specialization of sorts. It was only a matter of time before the World knew Dom Vaughn Vanderlaske's name. He stood up after a final thought, and nodded. "So lets keep things trucking, eh?" [Add On Creation]

Walking away for a moment, Albert returned with a armful of blueprints. "These are the add-ons you can create for your rank. They can be great starting points and pretty useful for your rank." He set the blueprints down and left to drag a chest over. When he finally reached Dom, he opened it to reveal all kinds of scraps and tools in perfect order. "The Arch-Mage likes those of the Spire to have the proper materials they need for whatever they might do."

Metal Shield
Rank: E
Description: It's a very basic thing really. It allows you to create a durable, circular shield with a radius of twelve inches. The shield is as durable as the metal it is made of. (i.e. If made with C Ranked materials [see list in customs forum in the Custom Weapons topic], then the shield can take as much damage as C Ranked attacks.)

Heads Up Display (HUD)
Rank: E
Description: Once installed into your scope, it functions passively, telling you information about parts and how their function at that moment in time , as well as allowing you to utilize sight modifying add-ons, such as Night Vision, or Infrared . Alternatively this can also just be put on the inside of your helmet. It will show you how much energy you have and the damage sustained by your mechanical parts if you have any.

Zoom Scope
Rank: E
Description: This is limited to the head or scope tool. This allows you to spot far away objects and identify what they are. This can also be used the take pictures and videos.

Ammunition hold
Rank: E
Description: Usually attached to the torso or the arms it adds 300 bullets to your total count. Alternatively it can store 100 rockets or 150 grenades. You can only have two Holds attached to the torso.

Gas/Water Hold
Rank: E
Description: This can store three gallons of liquids (12 Liters), it is compressed, thus it's not too bulky. You can only have two Holds attached to the torso.

Projector
Rank: E
Description: Well it can be used simply to project images for fun. This may also aid when a team is organizing their attacks or hunting down a particular target. Though it does not always work, you can project an image of yourself beside you, this only fools sight and objects pass through it.

Hidden Blades
Rank: E
Description: Usually placed in the arms and legs area, it can also be placed in the torso. The hidden blades are simply hidden from sight and may pop out to swing at the enemy at any given time. Not incredibly sharp, they're just as sharp as your regular sword. They do have the element of surprise however.

Night Vision Scanner
Rank: D
Description: A basic Add-on that allows you to see clearly in dark areas. Though this has a possible side effect. If the enemy notices that you are using night-vision and they create a bright light, this will cause your screen to be consumed in white light disabling the Night-Vision Scanner temporarily.

Human Mechanist // Trainee // 250/250 NRG // Denizen of the Spire // 6/5
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀

Dom's eyes opened wide when he saw all the toys in the box, and all the ideas on paper. He made a sound, one, a bit manlier then a shriek, yet still girly. He dove right into the box, pulling out several items before he put his nose to the grindstone.

With a sheet of metal, he used a small blowtorch to cut a small circle out. With a grinding wheel, he dulled the edges. With some random nuts and bolts, he made a part that would attach to his own body. Shortly after, he'd stashed it on his back. [Metal Shield Learned]

He pulled his goggles off on the next part and began to tinker with them. He started more of the silver substance on the inside of his goggled, going as far as to make somewhat of a holographic display as to how things were going, body wise. With that done, he moved on quickly. [HUD Learned]

Dom fiddled some more with his goggles, but decided they may get too clunky at this rate. He began to work on a separate module for zooming, as well as taking video and pictures. It was nothing more then a pair of cylinders attached by a small, but stiff wire, making them seem like bifocals. He tucked them safely away on his harness for later usage. [Zoom Scope Learned]

He went back to the sheet of metal he'd played with earlier, and began cutting once more with a torch. He began making some sort of box for rounds of all sorts. He cut some lines in the sheet and began to fold things before welding them back together. He made a pretty little box, and with a bit of paint, he made it a green box. Slapping a lid with a couple hooks on it, he attached it to his harness. [Ammo Hold Learned]

With what was left over of the sheet, he rolled into a cylinder and welded it down the line. Without skipping a beat, he put two half sphere scraps on it, making a pill shaped, hollow hold. With a screwdriver off his glove, he poked a hole into the hold and inserted a valve with a gauge on it. He gave it a quick test before adding another hook, and attaching it to his back, similar to the ammo hold. [Gas/Liquid Hold]

He began to make a box out of scraps now. Nothing big, and he didn't put the sixth side on just yet. he was busy trying to work several lenses and a diode into the little box. He finally broke out the needle nose pliers and worked them into the little box. With that, he used a small sodding gun to stick it in place. With that, he cut a small hole into the last scrap and capped of the box. A tiny projector was in his palm. He tucked that away on his harness as well. [Projector Learned]

Cutting another sheet down the middle, he folded it over several time and used a blow torch to fuse it all together, several times. Finally, he cut a couple triangles out and had begun using a grinding wheel to sharpen the edges. Within moments, he had two sharp blades. A few moments later, he had them on rails with spring loaded mechanisms. He attached them to the gauntlets he wore with his harness. [Hidden Blade Learned]

He'd already put his goggles on, and had no plans for more add ons for them, and so he began to work on a more scanner style night vision device. Another small box with a tiny camera inside it. A pivoting head would make it so it could look about and gather intelligence. he hooked it to the strap that went over his shoulder, and then to the wires on his goggles, effectively connecting them to his HUD. [Night Vision Scanner Learned]

"So boss, that all you got?"

As Emelia made her way into the training space of the warriors, a couple of the harder instructors reminded her she needed to make time to practice her own blade skills. "Metal ain't the only thing that rusts," he scolded lightly as she nodded in agreement. "And I defer to your expertise," she laughed, promising to get in some practice later today. For now she wanted ot finish her tour of her people.

OoC:

After arriving at the training room, Jasper wasted no time finding a sturdy looking dummy for his training. After dropping his equipment and taking off his jacket and shirt, he began by striking the dummy several times with his shin, strengthening it with each strike. After a certain amount of time, he stopped to work on his hopping, which was apparently needed for this style. Though he couldn't find any tires, he simply jumped side to side, over and over until his body grew tired. He felt a sort of rhythm after a few seconds, getting the feel for how skills worked in Muay Thai.
Jasper motioned for a nearby man that had been training to assist him with his next few skills. Jasper motioned for the man to rush him, ensuring the it would be okay. When the man rushed him, Jasper waited until the opportune moment. At the last split second, Jasper clenched the man's head and neck with both of his arms, eliminating the possibility of letting the man go free. In this position, Jasper was able to guide the man wherever he wanted, though he let him go.
In the next skill, he motioned for the man to strike him. Jasper lifted up his right knee and lifted his arm to make his triceps parallel to his thigh. Then, Jasper coated his body in energy. When the man tried to strike Jasper with a roundhouse kick, Jasper didn't even budge. He didn't even feel it. Jasper merely stood there.
Now that he was done with the man, Jasper sent him away for now. He looked back at the sturdy dummy and took his stance once more. Jasper then leaped forward, lifting his leg in a roundhouse kick manner. Though, instead of striking the dummy with his foot, he struck the dummy with his shin, instantly smashing the head of the dummy into several splinters.

[Stage one of Muay Thai, Mastered]

OoC:

Just as he was going to move into the next stage of Muay Thai, a eerie familiar presence creeped into the area. It was easy for Jasper to pick up on the familiar aura that Envy gave off because he once was the vessel for the Sin. In a sudden rush of energy, the being rushed into Jasper's body, causing the ma's body to stiffen up at the forced entry. It was like having his body sucked into a void, his very mind began to twist, remembering all that he had gone through in his life. It was a life of jealousy, of Envy. Throughout his life, he lived on the sidelines, watching everyone enjoy their life. From watching the woman he loved destroy herself for another man, to being the least favorite of his parents. He was always second, never getting first. Then, he heard a familiar voice ring into his mind. It was the sound of a timid girl.

'Jasper... I'm sorry to have to do this again. I-it's just that there's something coming for me. Your the only one I can go to.' Something coming? He didn't bother to ask, only because Envy sounded a little frightened. In all the time he held Envy, she had never been frightened. Timid, shy maybe. But never scared. Envy seemed to be the strongest of the Sins, and yet she sounded terrified. Though it was no surprise that Envy came running to Jasper, Jasper was still shocked that the Sins felt endangered enough to run to obtain vessels. "I'll keep you safe... but no secrets this time. If you hold something back, I will get you extracted, just like last time." Envy had taken a long pause before she responded with a reassuring 'yes'.
