Rellick shifted in unease.
A wild son? A new King? Headstrong?
It sounded somewhat dangerous.
Rellick eyed his lands and sighed, then glanced at Akin once more. His golden eyes were serious, deep and thougtful, and in that moment he seemed a king.
"I will gladly take in your son Jayvyn," Rellick said softly. "But under the conditions of this: You SWEAR to me he will not harm my Pride. I have females there already, lionesses who left my father's home, and its safety, to be with me. I will NOT have them be put in jeopardy, nor their happiness.. If you can swear to me your son is a Lion of Honor, as I believe you to be... Then he may come to Scarlet Shadows, and stay for as long as he wishes."

The Silver King only smiled. "There will be no problem then. Jayvyn is not dishonorable...just reluctant for the yoke of responsibility and duty...I believe it to be so." He sighed and turned towards the heart of his Pride.
With a mighty roar he called his son to him. "Let's see if he shall respond."
Jayvyn lifted his head as he heard his father's summons. Dung beetles...not another lecture. The black lion rolled onto his feet from his sprawled position. The black lion had been sun-bathing after a bout of waterplay and chasing Meerkats. Those little things were so funny!
Heaving a sigh, the Dark Prince trudged through the undergrowth to the border. "Yes, Father, oh almighty King and divine lecturer?" He sagged into a sitting position, already hearing the lecture he'd heard a thousand times before.
Then purple eyes blinked and Jayvyn looked to the red teen. "Uh..."

Rellick bowed his head in acknowledgement of the King's response, and stood with as much dignity and authority as he could muster, waiting to meet the Prince.
At the sight of the black lion, Rellick arched a brow, blinking in surprise at the Prince's words.
"Surely a Prince of Silver Dawn has better to his manners than this." He said in a low, dissapproving voice. "I would never speak to my father so.. He'd send me tail-over-nose and rightly done!"
He glanced at Akintunde.'Divine lecturer?'

Akin only stayed silent, rolling his eyes at the nickname his son had given him. Half of his sons attitude was probably from his fault of failing to properly punish him. It was hard to when the trip from Rackna's Pridelands had been filled with Jayvyn's wild escapades and having to rescue him from those adventures.
The crocodile one had been too close for comfort...
What had -his- tail in a twist? The teens head raised and he assumed a straighter sitting position. "Tail over nose?" He looked contemplative for a moment and then smiled. "Sounds like fun. So what's your name? Mines Jayvyn, you can call me Jay though."

Rellick closed his eyes a moment, hiding what would have been a pained expression, and decided to see if he could train 'Jay' without him noticing. He glanced at Akin, then turned back to the black lion with a smirk.
"Jay huh?" He asked saucily. "What do the girls think of that? I'm Rellick, ladies call me Rell.. Whatever you choose is fine by me..."
He shot a glance at Akin, which might have been an apology, but stayed focused on the black teen. 'Responsibility eh? Better yoke him with Areli next time I see her.. She'd sort anyone out.'
((Note.. The last part is him thinking.. >.<))

Anya came loping over to her "brother". She looked over at Rellick then Akin, then Jayvyn. She kept quiet as she sat beside Akin. "Hello, Brother. Is something going on?" Her tail flicked slightly as did her left ear. Her amethyst eyes on the males in a questionative manner.

"Mhm..." The adult wore a pleased smile. He wouldn't say anything to Anya until his son had left. What use was ruining the plan before it had started?
"Umm..." The Dark Princes' ears laid back. "I don't know any females...except for Jalara but she's older and has cubs...and Shairi, but she's my sister." There was a look of disgust before Jay noticed his aunt. "And Anya too."
"I think I'll call you Rell."

Rellick smirked and bowed his head slightly.
"Well enough then.. No Femmes huh?" He shook his head. "A sad, lonely life you lead Dark Prince.. Tell ya what.. How 'bout you come to my Pride and meet the girls heh?"
He glanced at Akin, trying to make it clear Jayvyn's tagging along was now Rell's idea. 'Maybe it will work better.'
"I've got two girls at my Pride already.. And more will be visiting.."

"Name's Anya. Nice to meet ya." She gave a small laugh smiling at Rellick. She wondered if this was a set plan. Well, if anything, Akin would tell her later. No use keeping secrets. The liger's tail waved slightly as she looked at her nephew. "Now, now, don't look so grim, kid." She raised her left paw and rubbed his head a little in a playful manner. "That face doesn't suit you. Cheer up, kid. You'll never meet females that way. I think the newcomer is right." She gave him a grin.

Jayvyn leapt away from his Aunt's paw, hiding by Rellick's side. "Anything to get away from lectures and that..." He was -way- too old to have someone do that to him. He was a teen now! Not a cub. "And females?"
Ears and tail perked up at the mention. "Sure!"

Rellick grinned at Anya, mentally thanking her for sealing the deal she probably didn't know of. He glanced at Jayvyn hiding beside him.
"Well.. Ok Jay.. If you're so eager to escape, can't imagine saying no.." He smirked, then turned to Akin with a bow. "My thanks for agreeing to be allies with me Silver King.. If you have need of anything, call for me.. I shall be in Scarlet Shadows.."
He smiled at Anya. "Lovely one, it has been a pleasure.. But I must retire to my own lands..."
((He had to be charming like his daddy! Xp ))

Jay chuffed a goodbye to his father, unwilling to say a proper farewell. Serve him right for all those lectures... However, he unbent enough to nuzzle Anya. "See ya later!"
He trotted a few feet away, gray eyes turning back to the Scarlet form.

Anya gave a small laugh and nuzzled Jay. "Be good now, and don't cause trouble, or I'll come after you!" She then looked over at Rellick. "Take care of him for us." She couldn't hide the light flush at the comment. Anya really didn't think of herself pretty...but was she? Sure she was a cross breed, but she thought more of that was an annoyance than a help. Shaking the thought, she chuffed. "By now! Come back and visit us when Jayvyn has a girlfriend!" She couldn't help but giggle as she waved with her left forepaw.

Rellick smiled at Akin and Anya, and tsked at Jay.
"I'll try and knock him into shape for you Akin.. But I can't promise anything..." With a final smirk and a wink at Anya, Rell shook himself and trotted after the Black Prince.
"Ready to go?" He grinned, then set out for home.

Akin turned to his sister, wearing a large smirk. "Rellick is going to whip him into shape for me." Silver eyes turned back to his son. "And maybe he'll show his true colors."
