Spoiler Alert.
I guessed right for the Raw MitB.
One of my second choices won in Smackdown
Diva's match was as predictable as a "Fun with d**k and Jane" book. It's sort of sad how all of the other matches got more cover with their recap they don't even go into detail. The best they could have told me to do was watch any of the previous fights those two have had in the past few weeks and I wouldn't have missed at thing.
With Show and Henry...I really didn't care but yeah congrats Henry for not falling back into being a jobber so soon though this feud still doesn't make any sense.
Punk vs Cena. -Well it was a mildly pleasant surprise though some actions were very predictable. Vince being a cheating douche, Cena being an annoying good guy that will have the people on his side if Punk is truly gone. The attempted cash in. ...Wait with the belt gone was there any point at all to the Raw Mitb?
Randy and Christian- okay I was wrong on that one. But it seems like Christian is sort of being turned into Edge in a way with his schemes. To win the belt like that makes one feel iffy even if he is playing a heel but at the same time the way he lost it so soon it seems well deserved. And that a** kicking that followed... does that mean heel Randy has returned too?
Anyhow this is a good time to sort of do a bit of 'spring cleaning' with both shows. Get rid of some of those Nexxus and Core guys who is lacking in talent and bring back those guys we've only been seeing on Superstars.

I'm happy Del Rio won the RAW briefcase.
I hope they're going to take this opportunity to create a brand new WWE Championship belt. It's about time. I'm sick of the spinner belt. It certainly isn't the worst belt they've ever had *Cough DIVA'S TITLE Cough*, but it looks silly and as much as it is reminiscent of Cena's earlier better ring persona days, it just continues to remind us that the thing is going to be glued to Cena for years to come.
Guess I can't keep calling Mark Henry the World's Strongest Jobber anymore.
I wonder who Daniel Brian is going to target with his spiffy new contract though?

Dammit. So close. We were so close. Well I knew it wasn't going to happen but I was hoping that we'd have a few shows without him.

Gluh! Did you see that tacky blazer Vince had on? Made him look like a bottle of Pepto. Didn't go well with the pants or the tie at all. Well maybe it would work if we were colorblind.
There was more wrestling today, YAY! If they regularly had this much wrestling with more people involved instead of the same 8 people, then I wouldn't have any obvious problems. Okay, still too many roll-ups wins for my tastes, but I'll live. Otherwise, great wrestling.
Could do without the 30 second get every diva out to the ring at the same time chaos, but whatever. Bathroom break. By the way, that's real classy ignoring other diva's ring entrances just to zoom in on bickering between the Bully Twins and Kelly².
As for the ending, My friend says he's quote, "both deeply offended and endlessly confused by this s**t." He didn't expect this angle but insists it's incredibly lame. I guess we knew Cena wasn't going anywhere, but even for Kayfabe being fired on stage like that can't be fun for Vince. Kudos to HHH for seeming like a remorseful 12 year old through the whole process. "I love you, pop!" LOL! xd I sorely hope this means Raw will get an actual general manager soon.

Ooh we went so long without hearing that damn laptop.
Yeah he looked like he was wearing a bad country club blazer.
Although they could have stretched out this tournament first round this week, next round next week, the rest the week after that. In that time in between bring on some of the guys from Superstars, Tyson Kid for one, or you know the new people we haven't seen wrestle yet?
I hate to say it but I have missed that swollen faced ring announcer of Del Rio. He looks so cocky doing something so simple, like he is the best damn announcer in the WWE or something.
Sort of sad that for the heels of the Diva's division they are the most diverse. And I think they only have one blonde. I really need to bring a timer out and just add together all of the time in one month that the Diva's are on air actually doing something.
Yeah that ending was...well for once I didn't see it coming. Well Cena not going any damn where I saw but Vince being "fired" and HHH going from behind the scenes to the front I have to give them a few points for effort for pulling that one out of nowhere.
Though if CM Punk was really watching this you know that he like some of us at home had that one hand out as if to say 'Come on, what kind of s**t is this?'
But Cena's speech about how he wasn't go through what Shawn did... did anyone else want to just punch the s**t out of him? Shawn is on a whole different level. If Cena did it people would still sympathize with him saying he didn't have a choice or that he didn't mean to do it, that Vince forced him, and the scripted nature of that...not a soul would boo him though he'd be walking around like a kicked puppy for a few months before something redeems him.
I mean TNA did the screw job when Hulk came on and that sad imitation was swept under the rug two weeks after it happened. No one gave a damn because one it was scripted and two it didn't have the same impact as the original.
The funniest thing I read about MitB was that someone Twitted the Bellas that they need to watch the Knockouts wrestle and learn a few things. One of them said that the Knockouts have the worst matches. I guess they can't imagine fighting over 5 minutes. Then retracted it and turned their focus on Rosa who some fans want to see get a push by saying that she has no talent.
The thing I see is that believe it or not Rosa actually has a bit more talent in the ring than the Bellas. One Bella has held the Diva's belt once. Rosa has held a title in the FCW and OVW as unbelievable as that my sound but people just need to look up Roucka on Youtube and see for themselves. She does better as a heel than they do.

Yeah, It seemed odd that Rey was complaining about having his match postponed even though he had been through two already. I can't imagine he wasn't exhausted by that point. It's odd that so many guys on the Raw roster are stuck in Superstars. Curt Hawkins, DH Smith, Drew McIntyre, JTG, Husky Harris. I don't think I've even seen Husky Harris wrestle.
Ricardo Rodriguez certainly brings an extra flair and extravagance to Alberto's entrance. I remember when Alberto first debuted on Raw, Ricardo did a standing dropkick to Alex Riley, and nailed him right in the face. I guess he's hiding some mobility under that tux.
Cena's speech did make him out to be an even bigger chump than I imagined. Unlike Cena who wussed out at the opportunity and whimpered over his wounded pride, Shawn owned up to what he did. He stopped whimpering about it, and even buried the hatchet with Bret later down the line.
And all this goody goody talk from a so called "Thug" who used to bring a chain and lock to the ring and HIT PEOPLE IN THE FACE WITH IT! "Word Life!" Remember that phrase Cena? Cena couldn't make the kid fans hate him unless he actually did kick a puppy.
It's disappointing that so many capable divas are stuck in the back of the line. If done right they could pull the quality of diva matches up with them but no. I actually don't mind knockouts matches on TNA. At least they actually fight it out in the ring instead of being catty for 30 seconds.

Sadly no. Much as Punk predicted, the WWE just got taken over by Vince's idiotic daughter and doofus son-in-law. I hope that since HHH had so much history in the ring that he should bring that to the table in show decisions but I don't wanna get my hopes up.

Mickie James said that TNA had the best womens division out there on thursday. I don't know about that, but it is indeed far and away better than WWE's. If all they get is 30 seconds on Raw and now no airtime on Smackdown then they're pretty much finished.
As for Smackdown, I figured Christian would win his match against Ezekiel Jackson. Having the lower tier champ beat the higher tier champ is a huge no-no in the WWE.
Daniel Brian answered my question for me. Hope he doesn't get canned before 4/1/12. No, it's funny how they play up Heath Slater like we're supposed to care about him. We don't. We never have.
I would like to see a rivalry between Wade Barret and Sheamus. Their styles seem to mesh rather well, and seeing as how one is English, and the other Irish, the writers jobs have been done for them. They have potential for a great street fight. Though I know, it's Heel v Heel and they never like to do that.
Kane is supposed to be gone for 3 months. Does this mean Mark Henry is just going to go around abusing random wrestlers? He doesn't have anybody his size left to pick on except Ezekiel Jackson.

If there is a challenge then loss of the MitB case before then then we know what's going to happen.
You know what the funny thing is? Yesterday I went to take my dog out towards the end of the commercial break. When I came back about 4 minutes later in they were about to start another match so I had assumed that I had missed the 30 second catfight.
TNA I do like for a few things. They do spend too much time backstage and talking and reshowing the same promos over and over again for air filler. But some of the writers know how to wrap things up. Like with Sarita and her face paralysis, they don't really know the case of it but they staged it so it would seem like the results of a backstage fight, this gives a reason for her injury (real injury, not the type that the Divas use to have when they said they got hurt and came back with a new nose and bigger boobs), this also gives a very good reason to fuel more animosity between the women.
Wade and Sheamus, I really did like seeing those two fight but I fear that in time they'll make Sheamus something of an anti-face given how they can't do any heel vs heel things right. Look at Henry and Show. I watched it with an everlasting feeling of 'WTF? Why is this happening? Did something happen on Superstars, NXT, or during an online backstage interview that I missed? Or did something happen and the camera crew was too focused on Kelly Kelly and her plastic smile to catch it?
Oh that just made me think of an upside, no Kelly Kelly was on Smackdown this week! ^^ Yey. Now if only they would cut down on Cena.
I have to commend them on making Christian's win over Ezekiel remotely believable. I mean in all logic throughout the universe Ezekiel should have won. I mean compared to the other men he's battled against as well as a majority of the Core at one time Christian should have been easy pickings. But Christian has the experience and overall believability in his speed and all to pull it off unlike some other overhyped stiffy.
Heath Slater, I'm glad that they are trying to push these guys away from slackie but Slater, he has an undeserved arrogance and no track record to back it up. People might have felt more with Otonga, Gabriel (he seemed the most sympathetic/helpful one when Cena got drafted to Nexus), and really with Darren Young (I hope he comes back. They gave him such a harsh losing streak compared to all of the other rookies I've ever seen come onto WWE. Kelly botched and couldn't sell for s**t and they kept her, retrained her and she still botched and look at her now.)
Those guys have a sort of charisma to them...well in my eyes.
But still I say they need to get rid of NXT and Superstars and bring back ECW, there the guys who are actually good but are put on the back burner can excel. The same with the divas who can actually wrestle. Never include them in the draft, don't mess up a good roster, just let them come out and offer/challenge people to come on. Though I think Regal in his more mutual persona should be the one to GM it. The man with the brass knuckles should be the one to do it. We love him when he's a face, when he's a b*****d of a heel, and he's even good as a comedy type wrestler. At least in my eyes. And he looks good in a suit. Double points.

They should probably do away with the draft or give the employee a choice on that one. We already know "Draft" just means gut Smackdown for the year.
They make it easy to forget greats like William Regal are even still on the roster with them only showcasing the same eight people per show per week.
Speaking of Cena, I remember him taunting vince like he'd be able to walk onto another wrestling show. He probably wouldn't last a day in TNA. Dragongate and RoH would probably turn Cena away at the door.

Unless they are desperate for the cash. Sign on Cena and get all of his fans. Though if they do get rid of him a majority of their child audience will go too so WWE can go jump up from PG to PG-13. We'd settle for that.
I mean I really want for the WWE to get their act together. TNA can beat them in terms of action for the simple fact that they are a bit rougher with their matches and utilize their wrestlers a bit better. But the problem with TNA is that they don't take care of their wrestlers.
They do too many unprotected chair shots, slams, and the like. Poor Daffeny, the writers saw how people reacted to Roxxie after the hair cutting thing and her 'hardcore' persona once she dropped the voodoo queen bit. But a bit of backstage animosity got rid of Roxxie so they used it with Daffeny. Throwing her on tacks, getting hit by the guys, and thrown off the top rope into barbwire on the ground. They really pressured that woman into taking dangerous risks and abused her and when it came time for the medical bills they washed their hands of it saying that it was her choice to do it.
I'm happy that Hamada and Alyssa got out before TNA tried to get them to do something stupid for their ratings.
But as I said if WWE could get their act together those people could do risky stunts but far more safer than with TNA. Just set up a firm policy and disclaimer that shows at least three times during a 2 hour show so that when people too damn stupid to know better tries to imitate they are in the clear. They could hire real wrestlers or allow for those wrestlers who are currently there to shine through.

eek eek eek eek
First 20 minutes...no talking...Rey champion...a MitB cash in attempt fail...there might be a bit of hope.
Keith Stone! ...Eve still can't act. And that booty shaking thing was just one of the things I wish to unsee. Why is it that the one time I don't miss a diva's match I wish that I had? Though I give them a few points for actually letting it last a bit longer although the obsessive need to keep pushing Kelly Kelly is getting annoying. Nothing is more tiresome than seeing a face who always win.
JR's return has soothed me of my mild continuous disappointment with the Divas.
All of the other matches were surprisingly good and entertaining. Not a lot of talk and we saw the guy's who name I can't remember right now for some really stupid reason. Jersey guy...what the hell is his name? I can remember any other time.
But scream son of a freaking b***h! One damn night! Just one damn night. Well really it might count as a week but to us that's not long enough for him to go without his accessory.
Sadly Punk's return does nothing to calm me down. Now if Del Rio had ran in and took him out for the win I would have jumped off the couch and cheered.

The whole Divas event was a facepalm. When Keith Stone (I HATE THE NAME KIETH) happens to outshine you, you know you're bad. He was naturally the high point of the event. The match was as usual forgettable, and even though there's supposed to be a Divas Royal Rumble for #1 Contendership next week, it's statistically impossible for me to care less. At this rate, Smackdown is really better off.
Just once I'd like to see even a lower tier Diva like Maryse just mop the floor with Kelly Kelly. It'll never happen though. Kelly Kelly is female John Cena after all, much worse as far as I can tell.
The first 20 minutes being wrestling was great, but I already knew Rey was gonna be champion. If I knew there was going to be another championship match at the end though I would have instantly figured it'd be the Miz what with the "no faces v faces or heels v heels" without exception.
With the backstage thing I'm surprised more people weren't licking their chops and eying the championship belt instead.
I'm kinda surprised the Mysterio v Cena match didn't last longer. It's like what happens when you pit two people who can't possibly lose against one another? Why Cena ******** up Rey's right arm and no-sells of course. Rey's exhaustion was believable, he did have a difficult match not two hours prior. They should have just let Rey keep the title, at least for a few shows. It'd be something DIFFERENT! Rey promised his kids he was bringing home the gold, A HAND SHAKE FROM YOU ISN'T GOING TO MAKE REY FEEL BETTER, CENA!
I really wish they had made Del Rio bide his time and more carefully plan when he was going to cash in. At this rate we're going to re-live the half a year of Miz trying to cash in the briefcase every single week and being repelled before or during the match. They did hype up Del Rio to be incredibly intelligent and cultured, but they aren't really playing that up anymore.
I'd have been ecstatic if Cena tapped to the STFU, but of course he's Superman so he'll never tap out.¬.¬
