Eh? *stops in my tracks and I heard a sound off into the distance I go running in the direction with my sense in full effect and I find Tiki * Tiki...?

*Trents senses a familiar aura in the close distance, to the south.* "Doraya? Maybe I can solve the puzzle of my feelings towards her, before I do anything to fix the problem with tiki and avariel. Yeah... it looks like I'm goin' to the southern part of the forest." *Still in a state of depression, trent picks up the pace a little, and heads off.*

Artiki :: Tiki, whose ears were clearly submerged in the mud, didn't respond, but a stream of bubbles gurgled forth around his head. :: Gi Yah... sad *finds him in a pile of mud and I step out into it and I pull him up from out of the goo and I carry him on my back.. before I could move another step I realized this was quicksand.. I whistle for Aldebaron and in a swift trot he comes* STAY BACK! Ragar uns'aa fol lorug vine lu' luth mina ulu uns'aa.. t'yin xuil l' byr wun... dos orn mumbaro rath lu' nnabiss uns'aa doeb tenu? *Aldebaron winnies with understanding* Bwael, nin alu! Doer rath 'zil ulnin 'zil dos shlu'ta! *he takes off and the sand's surface comes up to my knees* Please Al, come back soon... *Aldebaron returns with tree vines in his mouth and he tosses me one end. I grab it and I move around a bit to get Tiki to lay upon me while I tie the one end around our waists tightly. His chest is pressed against my back as our hips are tied together and I take hold of the rope and I give Aldebaron a stern even look. Now the sand was at my waist* Nin nnabiss! *Aldebaron pulls and we begin to move toward the surface* Nnabiss!! stressed *pulls more but the vine slightly begins to give and I fall into a slight panic* NNABISS!!! Unh!... *hears a bit of a snapping noise as the rope snaps a bit more* NNABISS!!!!! stressed *With one final tug Aldebaron succeeds in getting me and Tiki back on dry land in one piece. I run up to Aldebaron and I give him many hugs and kisses*Usstan SSINSSRIGG DOS! DOS SSIN'URN ZAPHODIOP! blaugh heart *then I return to Tiki's side and I wipe away the mud from his lips and nose and I open his mouth and I first try pushing on his chest.. then I bring my mouth to his and I perform Norrs ulu Norrs* Please breath. *continues doing Norrs ulu Norrs*

:: Tiki subconsciously turned his head to the side as he spat out the quicksand in his lungs and took three gasping breaths, eyes slowly opening to stare at Avariel, hovering over him. ::
"Thank you," he whispered feintly. Under normal circumstances, he would have seen the sand, but in his upset state he hadn't really checked.

Under normal circumstances, he would have seen the sand, but in his upset state he hadn't really checked. *smiles bright as a tear falls from my eyes and onto your cheek and I stroke your face softly* I am so glad you are okay..I don't know what I would have done if I had lost you.

:: Tiki shot up after hearing she wasn't angry, bounding a few steps away and shaking himself wildly, sending the mud off of him in a spray that came just a few inches from Avariel. His clothes were still wet and muddy, but at least his hair and hands were free of grit, and a large volume of it had been removed from him overall. He then lept forward and practically pounced on her with a hug. He had been trying to contain himself but for the moment he was too overjoyed to worry much about self-control. ::
"I'm so glad you aren't angry anymore, I was going to go... well... nevermind that for now," he babbled.
