Cheo-tsin I can play just about every song i hear from them. There guitar, andover all instrumental (ecept in my opinion the dj) is REALLY easy. Why doesnt the guy put in a solo or something? well I think its cause it dosent really fit in with their music, I dunno, I like his playing just like it is

Why doesnt the guy put in a solo or something? well I think its cause it dosent really fit in with their music, I dunno, I like his playing just like it is No not like a fast solo, but more like one that gives the song a more sornful, melodic, and sorrowfull melody and vibe, something like that audioslaves "i am the highway" i think its called....*shrugs i forgot* but something really soft with whole notes. I dont think he should palm mute or anything, arpegios(sp) some sliding andhammering on. i think it would sound great.

That wasn't a stab at Linkin park this time, And I didn't say they where bad, I just said they where easy, it still sounds good. just easy, like toni iommi when he wasnt blues guitar. And i dont sing, so i wouldn't be able to sing like chester or anyone, but thats not instrumental, i ment instruments

or take Cliff burton of old metallica, his s**t was real easy to play (ecept annistesia) and hes a ******** great bassist, hes one of my influances for bass. you dont have to be complex for a playing style to be good, or sound good

I personaly think that the singers voice is not instrumental. This is because they convey the lyrics and the meaning of the songs. LPs lyrics are very meaningful, real and important for the actual band and what makes up them. Thats why I PERSONALY dont think lps singers are instruments.nor anyone else singers exept screamo (witch i dont like) it hits notes and doesnt convey any song meaning. Or once you think about it, one could esily say that a guitar, or bass could convey a meaning of a song to every individual

Guitars, bass, drums, etc, all help to get the message accross.
def. Instrument:
A device for playing or producing music.
A voice produces music. Therfore, voice is instrumental. Without the voice, you still have a good band, without the guitars or without the drums *shrugs* no band.
