Darion took what a page from Jack's book of ideas and made an ice block in has and and readied it for anyone to jump in front, Darion had many plans for these Ash Men.

The hatchets sink into the white ash men but they continue to charge as if they weren't harmed at all. More heads rise up through the water as Darion sinks away, and it isn't certain whether these men are the same pursuers or an endless army. Finally a pair of arms shoot up ahead of Darion to grab his legs and pull him into the murky waters with inhuman strength. The same then happens to Jack.

((Lazy post... -_- ...not in the mood to be RP'ing right now))
As Jack throws his hatchets, he notices faint colorations in the water getting bigger and bigger. Realizing they were coming up from under them, Jack yelled to Darion, "Darion! Jump! Climb onto one of the trees"! Immediately as soon as he said that, Jack lost his balance on purpose, now flying through the air like a flag as Darion kept running, holding onto Jack's collar. He did this so that the hands coming up wouldn't reach him.

Darion did at Jack said and jumped. He jumped to the nearest tree still holding on to Jack. When Darion reached the tree he grabbed on to a thick branch and pulled him and Jack up. He said as he stood ready for the Ash men to do something.

The ash men swarmed to the tree but didn't attack. They would approach but not dare to climb. And for good reason. As soon as Darion grabbed onto a thick branch a poisonous viper sensed his warmth and lashed out, attempting to sink its sharp fangs into his knuckles.
The two should've known that this was no ordinary swamp.
In this jungle everything is teeming with life. In this jungle nothing is your friend.

As Darion grabbed the branch his hand would freeze in a block of ice to ensure a firm grip on the branch. The viper's Teeth would be suck in the ice as Darion pulled himself and Jack up. Darion looked at the viper who was stuck to his frozen hand and grinned. Darion would then make the block of ice spike up and send the spike's to every direction pinning the viper to a tree.

Jack was able to grab ahold of a nearby branch and pull himself up onto it, balancing himself on the strong wood. He noticed a viper was to strike at Darion's hand, but his actions were not needed as Darion seemed to take care of the situation. Catching his breath, he noticed the men in ash swarmed the tree but made no attempt to climb up its bark. Jack raised an eyebrow. Why? He was actually quite worried about this fact, these men seemed fearless, and if they really wanted to, Jack was sure they can begin to climb up the tree. What was making them hesitate so? What was up in this tree that begged to be feared? Whatever it was, Jack wanted to prepared to face it, if there was anything up here at all. WIth the thought in mind, Dark purple ki began to lightly swirl around his hands, ready to spring into action.
"Darion...you got any clue on why there not coming up"? Jack looked around....worriedly he said, "We need to get out of here...I don't know how...but...I feel we are vulnerable".

Darion's attack hit successfully, but once the viper was pinned to the tree it split in two, straight down the middle. The parts slid down to the branch as two new snakes. Their yellow slitted eyes glared at Jack and Darion, and then their mouths opened, showing rows of poisonous fangs as they hissed at their intruders. Below them, one of the ash men slammed into the trunk which caused the whole tree to shake. From this simple shake, dozens of poisonous snakes rained down on Jack and Darion from the branches above. Most simply fell off to the water below, several fell to their bodies and on the branch. Agitated they all hungered for a bite. In an instant the two were being attacked from all sides by poisonous snakes, with a hungry crowd of tribesmen waiting in the waters below like crocodiles sitting for the kill.

Jack realized they had to get out the tree once the snakes started to fall. Luckily Jack was quick enough to determine a solution, quickly yelling to Darion, "Quick, we will travel across the branches. Jump to that tree over there"! A snake was about to fall right ontop of him but he summoned up a purple hatchet made of ki and sliced through the air, severing the snake, its two regrowning parts flying to the side. QUickly while he still had time, Jack jumped across the air, landing on another branch, luckily the branches were large, strong, and thick so it was easy to keep balance. As soon as he landed he began running, jumping from treetop to treetop. He hoped Darion was following closely behind.

Darion groaned as the snakes began to fall, he quickly jumped over to the tree Jack mentioned while jack was cutting the snake,Darion then quickly threw any snakes on him off before they could bite. Darion quickly hopped from tree to tree. "Why can't we just find this Wendigo without these monsters bugging us?" he said as he jumped from tree to tree.

As soon as they land, more snakes fall from the branches onto them. They were all very agitated by now due to the loud hissing of their brethren nearby so they were much quicker to bite. It would appear that every tree in the swamp was infested with these things, and the ash men continue to follow them but send out a few to the trees nearby.

Darion took Jack rapier from his sheath and began to swipe snake away from falling on them as they began to run, Darion would make sure no snakes would land on him."You have hatchets so I'm borrowing this until we're outta this ******** snakes."
((the rapier is made of fiber glass so its not cutting them but it is pushing slapping them away from them.))

Jack paid no mind to Darion taking out his rapier, he was busy himself, slapping away the snakes towards the pursuing ash men with his hatchet. He jumped tree branch to tree branch, wondering if they would ever start to see solid ground. He could only hope that those ash men didn't have some kind of immunity to poison. These guys seemed practically immortal and he wouldn't want to fight all of them on even footing. So as Jack went, he sent a flurry of particularly angry snakes down at the ash men. Jack hoped it would slow them down.
((Is this going to take much longer? Its been going on for 2 weeks hasn't it?))

Snakes continue to fall as Darion and Jack continue to jump around on the tree. By now several snakes have landed on the branches and they aggressively attack at their ankles when they land. Meanwhile a loud crash is heard nearby, followed by another. The surrounding trees are literally pushed over by the ash men, so there was nowhere else to run. Meanwhile the ash men at the bottom of their tree glow a moment and the snakes fall through their bodies as if they were ghosts, and some are so bold as to snatch the snakes back up and fling them at Darion as they see him as the least experienced. With only one weapon, a weapon he is not trained it at that, it was near impossible for him to continue to completely block all of these snakes coming at him from so many angles simultaneously.
((don't blame me. not my fault you guys like to climb trees to solve your problems instead of covering ground.))
