fools: I'll get to you soon but for now change muscle block to only working on techniques up to B-rank, and only when dealing with blunt force. After all steel still pierces muscle. That hasn't changed.

A City Of Fools Pump Up Pump Up is a style that allows the user to redistribute and rearrange their muscles throughout their body. This allows them to concentrate everything into one point or even everything out. [If a skill doesn't say how long it lasts it is a constant skill until deactivated or changed.] Stage 1 The user has a very basic understanding of their power and they can honestly barely even use it. The best way to train at this stage is just to do basic workouts to enhance your future prospects with this style. Remember, you cannot distribute what you do not have.
None. You can't even use it yet.
Stage 2 The user starts to understand the nature of their power and can effectively distribute it in small amounts, like taking a little bit out of their arms and putting it into their legs, etc. Simple stretches are fine with this training.
Pump Up Rank: C Description: Putting a small amount into their upper body, increasing their strength by one rank and decreasing their lower body strength by one rank.
Pump Down Rank: C Description: Putting a small amount into their lower body, increasing their speed by one rank and decreasing their upper body strength by one rank.
Stage 3 In this stage, you truly begin grasping the true power of this style. You can more effectively move around your muscles. Training for this stage requires unnaturally heavy weights. Specifically, holding them above you until you are nearly crushed.
Pump Up v2 Rank: B Description: Directing your muscles into your upper body, increasing your punching strength by 2 ranks and decreasing your kicking strength by 1 rank.
Pump Down v2 Rank: B Description: Directing your muscles into your lower body, increasing your lower body strength by 2 ranks and decreasing your punching strength by 1 rank.
Stage 4 On this stage you have near complete mastery over this style. You can understand the flow of your muscles as well as your opponents. You can almost fully utilize your powers. Training for this stage requires you to spend a few days just moving your muscles around, between each section of your body.
Pump Up v3 Rank: A Description: Directing your muscles into your upper body, increasing your punching strength by 3 ranks and decreasing your kicking strength by 1 rank.
Pump Down v3 Rank: A Description: Directing your muscles into your lower body, increasing your lower body strength by 3 ranks and decreasing your punching strength by 1 rank.
Balanced Body Rank: C Description: By evenly directing your muscles all throughout your body, you can create a perfectly balanced body. +1 rank to all attacks.
Stage 5 The user has completely mastered the use of this style. They can effectively move their muscles to any part of their body, no matter how small, including their brains, fingers, etc. To train for this stage, one must swim down to the deepest place they can find and withstand the pressure for as long as possible, making their body rock hard through constant pressurizing.
One point punch Rank: A Description: The user puts all of their muscles into one arm and delivers a truly crippling blow. +5 ranks of damage for that punch. It can easily snap even the thickest of bones clean in half, and if aimed correctly can rip an appendage off. Lasts one post.
One Point Kick Rank: A Description: The user puts all of their muscles into one leg and delivers an insanely powerful kick. This kick can easily break bones and at times tear off appendages, when aimed correctly. Lasts one post.
Speedy Gonzalez Rank: A Description: The user puts all of their muscles into their lower body, sharply increasing their speed for one post. [This can also be used to jump extremely high. About 20 to 30 feet high.] This speed boost allows them to move far faster than any human should. About 50 miles an hour.
Muscle Block Rank: C Description: The user directs their muscles into one point, where the opponent is striking to basically deflect the blow. The amount of energy put in is equal to the energy used for the opponents attack. It only works up to B rank attacks. [If it is a normal attack using no energy, it costs C rank.] If it is a bladed attack, it does one rank less damage.
I just made it do one rank less damage, because the denser the muscle the harder it will be for that blade to go through. And it would be dense as all hell there.

fool: What does increasing your upper body strength for one post do? Are you increasing the level of a person's strength or are you buffering up all other attacks they use in that post? For example are you trying to tell me that you think its fair to use Pump Up v3 to turn a C-rank Violent Fist into an S-rank combo of death? I'm just trying to figure out what you're going for here because there is a difference between rank and level.

I just couldn't gauge it better in any other way without being way too vague. I know that increasing an attacks rank by that much is crazy as hell. So yeah, this styles power output is really just increased by common sense. It's just hard to rank it like that.....

Take all of the pump-up stuff and instead turn them into strict attacks. That would be the simplest thing to do. That way you don't have to say how much, exactly, it increases their strength but we'll know its enough to deal A-ranked damage since its an A-ranked skill, for example.

No. That is not the nature of the attacks. It is a lasting effect that will increase the power of any basic attack used or skill used as long as it is a physical contact attack. It is not a strict attack. It just does not define the extra damage it does by ranks.

I already told you, it lasts continually until you change form to a different skill, or whenever you deactivate it. It is constant. Unless stated otherwise. Some are not constant. I can't do that. :/ It's too vague. Trying to rank it would depend on the skill used afterwards and all that good jazz. It would just be a waste of effort. As it is now, using the rule of thumb, it should be perfectly acceptable. I mean, it's the difference between saying "Now this move is an S rank" and "Imagine getting punched with a C rank skill when every muscle in your body is occupying the parts of your body that would increase punching power." Overall, me being vague about it is making it weaker and that's how I want it to be.

Twin Sabers A style focused purely on acrobatic movement and flashy techniques to impress allies and foil enemies. People that learn this style can't just learn everything at once however, it takes extreme training to learn how to do anything a twin sword user can do. Normally people holding two swords are at a disadvantage due to the way the blades are used, but those who learn this style change those weakpoints in their style to strengths. While focused on acrobatic techniques and aerial fighting there are some regular blade techinques too. Stage 1 The user starts off by doing frontflips and backflips constantly until they can instantly snap in to one without preparation. After they can do that they will have an entire world open to them, the possibilities are endless with a user of this style. Although the skills are focused on being as flashy and unpredictable as possible they are actually useful in the correct situations.
Aerial Recovery Rank: D Description: With a little bit of ki the user is able to change their body's course in the air and land safetly on their feet if they are falling from a non-fatal distance. One cannot attack directly after they recover, but defense can still be used.
Backflip Rend Rank: D Description: Another risky move where the user backflips with their sword extended outward, they will fly backwards in retreat from the enemy if they backflip with the needed force. Depending on the range the user is from the enemy it inflicts changing damage. If the user it close it will probably remove an arm, far away does light damage.
Long Slash Rank: D Description: The user jumps at the enemy and over them while slashing with their sword. This will block any weak attempt at retaliation and put the user behind the enemy. From here they have an opening since one of the most vurnerable spots on a human body is the back.
Stage 2 The user can now effectivly apply extreme acrobatic moves to any situation, like a parkourist. So to train this stage they begin running alongside walls until they can span an entire room without falling. This prepares them for more complex jumps and attacks.
Drill Kick Rank: D Description: The user jumps at the enemy and turns their body so their legs face their foe. Then with the use of ki they can use their body like a drill and cause moderate damage to an opponent. If used enough times it can break bones. And if the user is feeling like taking a risk they can aim for the neck in hopes of crushing it.
Waterfall Rank: D Description: Like flowing water the user can constantly shift to fit the situation with their swords. If an opponent blocks their first strike then the user can strike four more times in quick succession, making it difficult to follow their unpredictable strikes. It is said watching someone use this technique is like watching water flow.
Just Counter Rank: D Description: If the user is attacked by an opponent with a weapon they can use both of their swords at the same time for defense. If the opponent hits them they will be thrown off balance, giving the user enough time to attack. If both challengers have twin swords Just Counter can be constantly used until one party gets tired.
Fallen Shield Rank: D Description: The user fakes trying to strike the enemy, if the enemy actually falls for it and tries to block the user can move behind them unseen and stab backwards with their blades, attacking the most undefended spot a human has, their back. This is dangerous because it leaves the user's back exposed too. Anybody of higher rank will see the user's movement, but that doesn't mean they'll be able to stop it easily.
Double Jump Rank: D Description: The user can jump in to the air and used their ki to create enough lift to throw them in to the air a second time, kind of like a double jump. This can be chained with Wallrun to gain maximum height.
Stage 3 In this stage the user must grasp all forms of defensive and offensive swordplay to better themselves. The constant training with increase their reaction speeds when defending, making them a much better swordsman. This stage is much less focused on the acrobatic aspect of the style and more on the intense movements with the swords themselves.
Ready Stance Rank: C Description: The user takes a stance that costs E-Rank energy the entire time it is active that blocks all attacks lower than C-Rank. A C-Ranked attack will break the user's stance. Anything higher will do full damage to the user. Using any other skills will break the stance since complete concentration is needed.
Bladewalk Rank: C Description: If the opponent has a sword the user can stand on it when they are attacked. This requires extreme concentration so the user cannot use any other techniques when they land on the opponent's sword. After a single post they will be forced to get off or fall on the ground where they will lose their defenses.
Sword Tornado Rank: B Description: The user knocks their opponent in to the air with a strong pommel strike and then after a series of circular motions they will dismember their opponent unless their guard is absolute or they can counterattack. There are only three circles so the user can aim for two legs and one arm or one leg and two arms.
Dark Moon Rank: B Description: At a speed close to being instant the user turns around with both blades extended. This technique instanty gets the user turned back around, along with the possiblity of cutting an opponent in half due to a high speed turn, this can be done without the swords in hand, but it causes no direct damage and is only used to turn around before an enemy can strike.
Disarm Rank: B Description: If attacked directly from the front the user can disarm their opponent and their weapon is sent flying away. This can only be done if the opponent actually has a weapon. It can also only be used on lower ranked opponents who aren't using a B-Rank or higher weapon technique.
Stage 4 The user enters their final stages of practicing acrobatics. To gain the needed strength the user must run not make a single step if they wish to move somewhere, they must flip where they decide to go while carrying a cup of water. They must not drop even a little of the water, if they do their practice isn't done. This helps them when switching weapon hands as they must let go of the cup if they are to not drop anything. The training also increases their control, which is the last thing they need before they learn the last swordplay techniques.
Farewell Rank: A Description: The user forward flips in to the air, kicks their opponent in the face three times to stun them, then backflips away before lunging at their heart and stomach with their two swords. The constant flipping around may confuse the enemy enough to make them only guard one area of their body, ensuring a kill if they do so.
Severe Rank: A Description: The user will jump at the enemy and wrap their legs around their opponent's neck. They will then swing back with all their strength and smash their enemy's head in to the ground, leaving a large crack in the floor. This can cause pretty bad damage to the head and should be avoided at all costs.
Dread Kick Rank: A Requires: Drill Kick Description: The user can kick with higher strength now to do all their leg training, When they use this skill there is a perfect chance it will break every single rib and throw the opponent helplessly to the ground. This can only be used twice per battle due to the effect it has on the user's legs. They can do it a third time if they are willing for their legs to be broken.
Stage 5 The user has finally completed all their training, they must now put their skills to a test. They must train their sword skills and precision by balacing a metal ball on a wooden plank. They must then slash the plank and have the metal ball balanced on their sword. When they can successfully show off their precision they are ready to begin the last bit of their mastery of the art.
Perfection Rank: S Description: The user can now exploit every weakpoint an opening in an enemy's defense with just five strikes. This means aiming for spots an opponent doesn't guard much and ending with a slash toward the neck. If this last hit actually lands the opponent's head will be removed and perfectly balanced on the user's blade, perfection.
Drill Slash Rank: S Description: The user user flips in to the air away from the enemy and uses a massive amount of ki to stop mid-flight. They then spin at their enemy with their blades extended, making a actual drill. This skill has enough power to plow though stone with zero effort.
Ultima Rank: S Description: This technique is meant to only be used against many opponents. It can also only be used once in a single battle. The user can block every single attack coming their way if attacked by more than one person with no effort and extreme swiftness. The only drawback is the one use per battle part, but for SS-Rank energy it can be done one last time.
Empty Sky Rank: SS Description: If the user blocks before an enemy's attack they can unleash their greatest counter. They slash once with their strongest arm and to the enemy it will feel as though they were slashed seven times. The strength of this technique is undeniable, those hit by it often never find the will to continue fighting. If they block with a weapon it will shatter obivously.
Awakening The Chaos Rank: SSS Description: The user gathers all of their strength and knowledge and prepares to attack the enemy. They seemingly vanish and reappear behind the enemy, soon after their foe will fall in to ten different pieces. An opponent with The Trained Eye could track this technique and have a chance to block it however. However nobody has ever lived to say they've seen this technique, the true strength of a twin blade user is unknown to all. This can only be done once every three days. The user and opponent have to be a blade's distance apart from each other or the skill will fail.

@fool: More specific if you can. I'd still like exact numbers on these skills instead of broad descriptions like "incredible amounts" or "a little bit". That doesn't give me something I can rate, and while I can see how you might think that this somehow makes the style less powerful in some way I see it that it does. If this is too much for you though, then I'll just take the style and make whatever edits I want before posting it up myself, but that means that you will not have any further say in how I change it. So its up to you.
@ana: I'll get to you a little later but I like what I'm seeing so far.

The only other way to do this would be to take the skills out and leave it with no skills. :/ This is not THAT vague. I can edit pump up/down V 2 if you want. That one I can make better, but the other ones are as good as they are going to get without being OP as ********. And no, I do not want your edits. I want to understand why this seems unacceptable to you.
