"Koukengers, report to the Holo Chamber immediately" The unfeeling intercom announced. Hiro rolled over on his side and checked the clock. It was 1 in the morning! What could possibly going on? Hiro thought as he quickly got dressed and headed as quickly as he could to where he and the others were ordered towards.
Hiro noticed he was the first to arrive. Thinking back in the hallway just now, the base looked like normal. It obviously wasn't on alert and the graveyard staff were going about their business efficently as possible.

*Groaning at the noise, Evan reached over and hit the snooze button on his alarm clock. Rolling over he went back to sleep for a moment. Whining a bit more about the announcement when it was repeated a second time, he slowly rubbed his eyes and got out of bed. Taking out some chocolate he stockpiled at that point, he began munching two bars of it's caffeine filled goodness. Unwrapping a third one and walking much like a zombie, he rubbed his eyes a bit more while mumbling complaints to himself. His slowness not only getting up, but making his way there, ended up making him the last one to arrive of the group by a few minutes.*

Robert sighed to himself as the final member of Koukenger had finally arrived. Making a mental note to talk to Evan later, he addressed the gathered rangers.
"Six and a half minutes? Had this been a real emergency a lot of people could have gotten hurt or killed. As your enemy wont wait, it is up to you to be ready to act at a moments notice"
"Now then," Flowers said, changing topics, "last time you were in this chamber you were forced to fight each other as a way to test your combat ability and adaptability. This time you will be challenged to work as a team."
Flowers held up a small spherical ball as he explained, "The object of the exercise is to first take this power core to a building to the center at a center of the field. Once there, you must hold the position for 10 minutes while completing several other side objectives. Are we clear?"
Hiro didn't like the sound of this. They had just meet each other yesterday. How could they manage such a task so early as a team? However not showing anything Kouken Violet remained stoic, simply shaking his head for a simple no.
((Basically, this exercise is to test our abilities to communicate and work together. It's primarily meant for character interaction/character growth. It might even give you a chance to demonstrate your abilities if you haven't already.))

Kira snapped out of thought as she heard the announcement and went to the Holo Chamber. She listened to what the boss had to say and analyzed it in her mind a bit. Six and a half minutes was not too bad, but maybe they could work on that. He was right that it does not take long to hurt or kill someone, especially if you have the right tools. As for the exercise, even though they just met, she thought it was good to have some bonding time. They were chosen to be a team and work together, not the be loners. She slightly nodded her head and waited for more instructions.

Meanwhile, Bertil went back to his hotel room and laid down on the bed. He was thinking of Kira when Pratt shimmered in. "Thinking about your girlfriend?" He said with a teasing laugh. "Shut up, Pratt!" Bertil said with a growl as he sat up and Aniq shimmered in. "Now, Now, we all stray away sometimes, but I am sure he still has his head in the game. Am I right, Bertil?" Aniq said in a cold tone. "Of course." Bertil replied.

Ryu groaned as they mentioned the exercise. He knew this was gonna be hard and not simply because they were inexperienced. No he knew this was gonna be hard because they were unsure of eachother. They had only been in two fights as a team and in both times they did argue a bit durring combat. This was gonna be a uphill battle for sure.

"Very well, Flowers commented, "we shall begin."
Like before the room suddenly went dark. Instead of remaining that way however the rangers soon found themselves in a heavily forested area. Hiro looked around to get his bearings. This was not going to be easy. He could just tell.
Hiro looked over to see where Flowers had been. Nothing was there except the sphere he had been holding. Hiro headed over to pick it up. Upon picking it up, he was glad nothing had tried to attack him in that moment.
Walking back to the others, he wondered what they would do next. He himself was unsure. .

*Yawning a bit and rubbing his eyes, he didn't let Flower's words get to him too much.* If it had been an emergency I'm sure they'd have sounded the alarms more and it wouldn't have been to report to this room. *Eating the last candy bar he snatched up on his way there, he stretched out a bit in a I-needed-more-sleep-manor. Watching the room turn dark, then to a forest, his eyes glazed over in amazement.
He knew the room could display illusions like this, but seeing the different environment actually appear before him this time was an incredible experience. Not the leader type himself, he scratched his head a bit and looked around the area.* Soooo.... what now?

"I imagine, that." Hiro said, pointing past them towards a tower that towered over the rest of the forest some distance away. There seemed to be a sorta dirt path before them that lead to the direction of the tower.
"Let's go, but stay close." Hiro said, getting a feeling it wouldn't be that easy. Leading the team, he started to walk slowly towards the tower.

*Following along the path, Evan continued to yawn and rub his eyes every few moments. It was then it dawned on him. If this was a test, and following TV show logic, why would they be following the obvious path? Starting to pay attention a slight bit more at that time, he ran forward and grabbed Hiro by the shirt, pulling him back from where he was about to step.* Watch out! *Pointing out to where Hiro was about to step, he shook his head a bit.*
There is some sort of trip laser there. Which... I don't understand why a jungle would have laser traps. I mean, I know we're in a simulation and all, but laser traps in a jungle?? Who programmed this?....All the same, we should be careful. There are probably traps all over. *To the others, the laser would be very hard to see. It's frequency and vibration made it small to the naked eye. Thanks to Evan's ability and Theus' training device, his eyes were able to catch the laser's rapid bouncing movement which masked it to the unobservant.*

"Wha.." Hiro gasped as he was pulled back. After hearing out Evan it was then that Hiro's ears picked up the minute sounds of the device, which lead his eyes to it. Remembering his first time training with the device Thesus had given him and concentrating, he could hear the humming of several more devices, most of them seem be coming from direction of the tower.
Nodding his thanks, Hiro continued on. Though he realized that just as well their abilities could be blocked.

Ryu kept his eyes peeled. He scanned the area, looking at both the ground and their surroundings. She gulped at the mention of traps, knowing how clumsy he could be at times. He figured he just needed to be extra carefull this time around. "Okay...this is good. We just work together and we will be alright. Uh...Hiro..watch your left foot. There is an odd looking pile of leaves there, could be a pressure pad."

By now, Hiro's ears had been listening intently for any sign of traps. At the mention of the leaf pile, the un-transformed ranger looked down at the leafs before looking over at Evan.
Hiro returned his eyes to the leaf pile. Gently with his foot, Hiro brushed aside the leafs. He sighed in relief. It was nothing. "All good, thanks for worrying though."
"Now..." Hiro said returning his attention to the ever closer tower, "let's get going."
((Unless anybody wants to demonstrate their powers like avoiding a trap or in Ryu's case getting hit by one and getting up again, I'm going to get the group to the top of the tower next post. Any objections?))

*Distracted by the false trap, Evan wasn't looking where he was going and stepped on a leaf pile that had a small pressure plate underneath it. Jolting his body in a nearly unconscious reaction, his speed went into action and barely avoided a large blow-dart like projectile which flew out from in front of him. His unconscious mind as cocky as he was went to catch it in the air as he did the twist to avoid it, but was too slow to snatch it. Instead, his hand batted the dart from the air and with a thunk it landed into a nearby tree.*
Woah! ... That was a close one... *Looking at his hand, then to the dart, he looked to the others. He was sure he had some kind of speed ability, but wasn't fully sure on how he could use it. As of yet, it had mostly been reactions and not something he could preform at well. Gulping a bit at the fact that he almost was darted, he made a vow in the back of his mind to try and trigger his speedy ability at least once during this mission.* It is a good thing I'm not a dart board. They would have gotten a terrible score just then.

Hiro turned as his hearing heard the slight click the pressure pad made. He turned to see Evan had just managed to dodge it. Hopefully, he thought as they entered the tower's entrance, they wouldn't have to deal with anything else.
Hiro looked around as they reached the top of the staircase. They were at the far side of a circular room with a brown pedestal in the middle. Various old cables and wires scattered the ground. On a wall, there also appeared to be a console of some kind.
Walking over to the pedestal. It had a smooth concaved surface to it. "Guess this is where it goes." Hiro said aloud as he placed the clear sphere on it.
Hiro looked around. Nothing happened, for the moment.
((I'll hold off again. Just for some people to say something. 3nodding ))

Kira followed the others as they walked in the jungle. She looked at all the traps and took in account what everyone said. "I am guessing that there might be someone or something living in the jungle because of all these traps that seemed to no belong." Kira said as Hiro placed the clear sphere on the pedestal. "This just seems to be too easy."

"I think that whoever Kira is working for is looking for the Omega Power is well. I am not sure what they want with it, yet, but it must be something big." Bertil said to the Pratt and Aniq.
