╚══════════════╝ ((Oh, I'm sorry, Hadore. I edited my post a little bit so that it doesn't sound like Valery's thinking there's a human nearby.))
Harold held up in his clawed hands in a placating gesture and began pulling the illusion of human back over himself. His wings and tail disappeared and his skin turned back to a pale human skin. He didn't want to scare the humans any more than he already had.
"Easy, Miss Harrow. These files were just recently cursed to attack anyone who came in. We came back here to find you, but found the files instead."
Renei was still on the floor, shaking hard. He signed to her, <"Are you alright? Sylvia's asking what happened."> She managed to nod yes, but gestured to her arm where a bruise was beginning to form. Her hands were shaking badly.
<"Can you stand? Is anything broken?"> He wished he could get another interpreter for her to work with until she got over her scare, but nobody else in this particular headquarters knew American Sign Language. To Sylvia, he said "I think we're going to need some of the resident psychics to come in and take a look."☞☞☞☞

Zander had a warm sensation go through his body when she got closer to him. He couldn't shake something about this girl as he listened to her. "It'll be ok, who ever did this is long gone by now, and I promise," He said taking on of her hands into his. "That I'll help you find your friend...I just really need to wait for the police to get here before I can." He was hardly focused on the body, but he knew protocol. A clean-up team needed an agent around to know where to take the body.
Now they were many feet away from the alley entrance and his eyes were still only on the girl. His tunnel vision becoming worse, and his head beginning to fog.

"I'm Valery Mosinn. What's your name?" As soon as the words left her mouth, she nearly groaned at her slip-up. He worked for the Society, he might have come across the file they'd compiled on her! Her song skipped a beat, and she hastened to cover it up by increasing its intensity and focusing on completely bringing him under her control. Entranced men were almost slaves to their siren mates as long as the song kept going. Her own mother had sung to her mate nonstop, even while giving birth to her. He had died completely unaware of anything but her mother. In a way, that was a bit of a kindness. Valery had not been at all gentle during her first feeding.
She was furious with herself for such a stupid slip-up, though. She'd killed dozens of people in exactly the same way, and had never hesitated when giving them false names. Perhaps she was getting soft, now that she had so much power. If she wasn't careful, she was going to get caught and killed. If not by the Society, then by another ambitious siren such as herself. That wouldn't do at all.✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ϯhε ȿɨɼεȵ aѡaɨϯȿ ϯɧεε, ȿɨnʛɨnʛ ȿɸnʛ fɸɼ ȿɸnʛ...

Sylvia shuddered slightly when the other figure turned into Harold. 'He's a half demon, remember? Get a grip.' Sylvia thought breifly to herself. Her attention was only distracted for the moment it took Harold to change back, then she looked back at the gore that was Mr. Camden, at least Sylvia thought it was. There was no face, but who else would have been in the Office that late? "I'll... I-I'll go get someone." Sylvia said when Harold asked for a psychic.
She turned and ran from the Office, nearly smacking into the door before she got it open. Sylvia ran down the hallway and turned a corner, yanking open the first door she came to. A woman in a white uniform looked up at Sylvia's entrance. "We need some help." Sylvia said, her voice slightly hoarse. She turned and headed back for the Office, the woman right behind her. Sylvia went back into the Office in a slightly more calmer manner than what she had left it in. "She needs to be looked at." Sylvia said, pointing at Renei. The woman stared at the bloody scene for a moment before heaing over to Renei. "What's hurting?" the woman asked, not knowing about Renei.Sylvia S. Harrow

Ryoku could not help but as all of the sudden, the bloodly vision nightmare suddenly dissapeared within the room. Setting his foot back in place from a weird sliding moment.
Currently in his akward position he took notice there were two new friendly faces in the room, he saw them both making weird hand gestures. Then it hit him as he remembers from some of his lessons durring his training. "Hmm...ah that's American Sign Language..." Ryoku gave a snap of a finger, not fully aware what has just happen in the room he barged in. He looked at the man who seemed to have a dark aura about him, but if Sylvia saw him as an ally, then Ryoku should too as well.
"Uh...sorry to barge in like that mam but..." Ryoku instantly shuted up as he see's what the man was holding on to another girl who was shruddering. "What happen?" With his eyes still focused on the two partners as Sylvia already walking out of the room.

╚══════════════╝ Renei was still trying to regain some semblance of control over her terror. Right now, it was almost too much for her just to breath normally. She had to fight to keep her breaths slow and steady. It just barely registered with her that Sylvia left to go get someone. Her arm and leg hurt and bruises were already forming. Some detached part of her mind noted that she would probably be very sore tomorrow.
Someone stood over her and she looked up to see a women in a white uniform mouthing something at her. Automatically, her hands moved to point to her ears as she shook her head in the gesture she always used to let hearing people know she was Deaf. Some part of her protested that such a normal thing shouldn't be allowed to happen after such a scary experience. Her eyes slid away from the woman to the destruction littering the room and fell upon the remains of the body in there. She wanted to vomit, but forced the urge down. Harold had stepped forward, explaining what had happened and that Renei was Deaf, no doubt. Then he touched her lightly on the arm to get her attention and signed, <"She wants to know what's hurting.">
Renei pointed to various places on her body and signed, <"Do I need to get up so she can look at them? I don't know if I can stand."> Harold was back to translating mode, and the woman said something in response. Yes, it would be best if they went to the infirmary. She could get some clean clothes and her injuries treated. The woman would help her walk. Renei let Harold and the woman help her up and was surprised to find that her legs were up to holding her. She signed as much, and they let her be.
There was a stranger standing in the room, a young man who looked horrified at the carnage. <"Who're you?"> she asked, her natural curiosity coming back. Now that she was over her scare a little bit, questions began to crowd in her mind. What made the files act like that? Was there somebody responsible for it? If so, who? What was going to happen next?☞☞☞☞

Zander was smiling as he held the woman's hand, though for a moment, when she said her name he got a horrible head rush. That name, he had heard it before and was trying to remember where. He let go of her hand and raised his palm to his head as though he had a pain. "Umm...My name is Alexander..." He looked at the woman as his thoughts began to become cloudy again, he had no idea what was happening, but he knew that name, and the only reason he knew people's names were from the files at the Society.
Then it clicked in his head. She was someone to be on the look out for. He couldn't think of what she was, or what she could do, she could have even been the Vampire that killed the man in the alleyway. He couldn't think, but he knew what he had to do. He sighed and took her hand again and smiled. "Sorry, I just got the worse head rush. Don't worry though, It'll only be a bit longer and we can go find your friend." All he could do was hold onto that thought, that she was in fact a monster, and that would be good enough for now.

It took Ryoku a while to understand who hand gestures the girl was making, then Ryoku gave a light smile and return the gestures. <"Me, R-Y-O-K-U, I, AM, NEW"> He wasn't that great, but enough to respond and understand a few. Ryoku stood up and straighten himself out. "Um, Okay I guess I"ll catch you guys up later", then look back at Renei and signed her <"Get, well"> "I'll figure out my room number later, I'll be at the Caferteria" Ryoku left with a friendly wave and rushed out the room like there was no tomarrow.

Sylvia watched as Ryoku ran out of the room, and she couldn't blame him. The carnage in the Office may have been worse than the carnage she saw when she was ten. Sylvia didn't know which was worse: listening to your parents be murdered or seeing the bloody mess that used to be a friend. Sylvia watched as the nurse and Harold helped Rini up and was happy to see Renei was steady enough to stand up. If Renei needed help, the nurse would be the best shot. Sylvia remembered the nurse vaugley as the one the Society members that found her after the incident handed her over too. Sylvia had been in terrible shape, shaking and asking for her parents, even though she had seen the bodies. The nurse was the one to calm down and bring the reality down as gently as possible.
Sylvia was somewhat surprised that she herself was still standing. Sylvia looked down at her hands to see that they were trembling badly. She clapsed them together, not having noticed the tremors earlier. As much as she didn't want to, Sylvia kept looking at the scene before her. Who would have killed Mr. Camden? Surely no human could have done something like that, and the file thing Harold mentioned was no human's work. Who, or what, would have been able to get into the building unoticed?Sylvia S. Harrow

Jai had recently crossed the street to get a better hearing to the situation. he came just in time, Zander seemed to have partly broken the song of the siren. Hopefully, he could assist if things turned to the worst.

((HE WAS NOT SCARED, HE'S THOUGHT IT WAS A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP GOING ON SO HE LEAVES THEM PRIVACY...and he missed the whole islusion thing so...))
Ryoku was already in the caferteria sitting at the table lonely, there were a few members there but not a whole lot. But Ryoku wasn't paying any attention to his loneness as soon as he was gobbling his cheese burger, hot dog, and french fries at the same times. Along with his favorite smoothie flavoreds..."STRAWBERRIES!!!". Ryoku felt like he was in heavens.

(( Rocket- Sylvia wouldn't have known that, would she? She's a shapeshifter, not a mind reader. That's just how Sylvia saw it.
Easy on the caps lock (if anything, just bold or italicies when you want emphasis on something) and watch your spelling and grammar from now on. I keep seeing simple mistakes in your posts that are easily avoidable. ))

╚══════════════╝ ((Sorry I haven't posted for a while. Studying for finals and all that, but I'm on summer vacation now, so I ought to be posting pretty regularly.))
Renei was quite surprised when the strange young man began signing to her. He wasn't very good, but she understood what he signed well enough. When he wished her well, she signed <"Thank you.">
She noticed Sylvia was still staring woodenly at the corpse and signed to Harold, <"Maybe she ought to come as well. She doesn't look so good..."> He nodded, and replied, <"Ok, but my first priority is to make sure you're taken care of. Please, go with the nurse and get looked at.">
Renei almost said no, but the pain was starting to get worse as the initial rush of adrenaline wore off. Much as she hated to, she had to leave her questions for later. She followed the nurse back to the infirmary and to a bed, which she sat on. The nurse got a piece of paper and wrote, I'm going to look over those bruises and maybe put some dressings on it. It'll hurt a little bit, but once I'm done, you'll get some painkillers if you want. If it hurts too much, raise a hand in the air. Once Renei finished reading this, she nodded understanding and let the nurse get to work.
Harold stayed behind with Sylvia. Knowing she was rattled by the sight of the corpse, he moved into her line of sight, effectively blocking the bloody mess from view. "Uh, Sylvia, do you think you could go get whatever psychics might be available right now to come and start looking around? The longer we stay here, the more our presences contaminate the area. We have to leave the crime scene or we won't be able to figure out what happened."☞☞☞☞

Valery Mosinn ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ Valery smiled as he told her his name. It was a good, strong name. She'd once studied under a siren who had met Alexander the Great. He'd challenged her to a game of riddles and won, winning safe passage for his ships. After hearing that siren's description of Alexander, she'd always had a fondness for the name. If sirens could bear male children, she might have named a son that.
Her smile faded as he suddenly stopped and tensed up, almost pulling away imperceptibly. She could see in his body language and hear in his voice that he was suddenly struggling against her song. He must have seen her file and recognized her name as something to fear. She couldn't make her song too powerful, or someone else might hear it and fall victim to it. She'd made that mistake a couple of times, and hadn't known it, which was why the Society was aware of her now. Then there was that presence from before. It had moved closer. She didn't know what it was, and decided to change her tactics. Obviously, she wouldn't be able to kill Alexander tonight. If he hadn't suddenly gotten suspicious, she would have toyed with him, making him fall deeply in love her, perhaps even allowed him to bed her before ripping out his throat and severing his head from his body. Now she would have to take a slower, more tedious approach, as well as study her prey more closely.
Valery slowly changed her song to one of lingering obsession and vague longing. It was deceptively light, but she'd discovered that it would wind its way into a human's subconscious and make them unable to stop thinking of her. She wanted Alexander to hesitate when he returned to the Society, and think twice about revealing his encounter with her. He would want to see her again, would feel an irresistible need to seek her out. She would go into hiding for a few days and stalk him. The more she knew about him, his habits, and his thoughts, the better she could tailor songs that would ensnare him.
"I'm afraid I can't wait... I'm worried for my friend. If you must stay, then we will have to part ways here." She looked up at him through her eyelashes in a sweet, defenseless manner, and added quietly, "It was very nice to meet you, Alexander... Perhaps we will see each other again." She stressed his name just enough, putting a hint of fascination and longing in her voice when she said it. The human would not forget her, of that she was certain. Then she released his arm reluctantly and began moving away, humming lightly.✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ϯhε ȿɨɼεȵ aѡaɨϯȿ ϯɧεε, ȿɨnʛɨnʛ ȿɸnʛ fɸɼ ȿɸnʛ...

Jai slid his sword out of it's ghostly sheath with a eerie scraping sword. He then stepped slowly out of the alley, sliding through Zander's body as if it were thin air. His ghastly greives clanking eeriely on the sidewalk, and his sword scraping along the ground. These were usually the last sound his victims heard before being slain by Jai.
