"Hopeless?" Deaven suggested and walked up to his throne. He got out a something that was wrapped in an old cloth.
"He's busy with Litari." Alcott chuckled then looked at the two guards that were building the window. "Stop what you're doing and leave. She doesn't deserve the light." he said and watched the guards run out as fast as they could, tripping a few times. "Now, is that still a no I hear?" he grinned at Kohaku.

Wanderer chuckled but shook her head. "Sort of. I was going to say something along the lines of insane." she said before she noticed the old cloth. "Ah, let me guess. Underneath this old thing is the great Lan-Ran." she said as her eyes sparkled in anticipation as she couldn't wait to see what it looked like. Kohaku watched as the guards left and she whimpered in disappointment. So close... she thought before she turned to look at Alcott again. Her tails fell to the floor almost lifelessly as she lowered her head in defeat. "Fine. I'll do it. But only for the sunlight." she said quietly.

Aki smiled again, "She was stealing from my bag. I stopped her and just gave her an apple." She shrugged, "She was just hungry."
"If only just passing out apple would make ammends with these kingdoms." Hiiro sighed.

 Deaven nodded happily and took the cloth off, revealing the shining blade. "Careful now," he warned. "The gentlest of waves from this blade could slice the castle in half!""Good, good." Alcott laughed and pressed another button. The chain fell off of Kohaku's ankle brace, but the brace itself didn't come off. "Just to make sure you don't rebel." he grinned and walked out, leaving the door wide open.

Wanderer stared at the sword in complete awe before she sighed and shook her head. "It's everything I imagined. I just, don't have the time to compete for it. It can never be mine." she said softly as she reached out to touch it but pulled her hand away quickly. Kohaku watched as the chain released her and she stood up. She struggled with her balance but used the wall to keep her up. She carefully walked, taking one step at a time while her tails draped around her feet. Her ears were up in excitement though her muscles ached in protest as she moved along the walls. She spotted Alcott and she grinned. "Go to hell." she said to him with a seductive giggle as her aura increased around them. She was soon able to stand on both of her feet without support and she began to walk away to look for the exit. She couldn't wait to see the sunshine.

Alcott just chuckled at her aura. "We already are." he said then turned around. "And you don't need that aura for me to covet you, dear. You are, after all, my queen." he said before leaving.
"Don't worry. Most of the competiters will be mere weaklings." Deaven said. "And I assure you that the queen is safe. She has a little trick up her sleeve, if I do say so myself." he smiled.

Wanderer smiled and nodded. "Oh I know Lucida can take care of herself. She's such a strong spirit even if she is going through this depression. Besides, she promised me." she said as she seemed to drift into thought. She quickly snapped back and pointed at the sword. "But what I'm saying is, I can't compete for it. Not until I find Lucida's son. Like I said when we first met. Finding him is my first priority. And once I have him safely returned home, then I'll work on getting these weapons. I have to make sure my queen is happy again." she said softly before shaking her head and blushing slightly. Kohaku scoffed. "Don't flatter yourself! My aura does that whenever someone's around me. It has a mind of its own!" she said with a low growl before she watched him leave. She then continued to walk until she found the way outside and she smiled happily as she began to run. She stumbled a few times as her legs got used to the motion. She felt the sunshine on her skin and her golden fur and long hair shined brightly in the light. She giggled at the feeling of freedom and looked at the view ahead of her, wondering just how far she could go. She started running again, just for the fun of it.

Red kept roaming the streets, his tousled red hair masking portions of his face at a time. He glanced behind him at one point, sensing that someone had been following him, but then he saw only a dog. A... it was a dog, right? He shuddered as black stuff dripped and ribs were exposed. He turned tail, stumbling slightly, and took off down the paved street.
Story growled softly when the boy spotted her. He barked a curse when he ran but only began to follow, at a slow pace because of her... condition. The dog-creature became a human and she chased after the red-headed child. "We need to talk to you, kid! Wait up!"
Alexander only arched a brow when his sister began to get angry. But when she garbbed his hand, his eyes and mood softened. He nodded. "Come," he murmured as he led her to the spiral staircase that wound its way up to his study in the belltower. The young prince began his hike up, releasing Caroline's hand.

"Mmm, well I've heard of a young boy who looks an awful lot like Lucida." Deaven said and rewrapped the blade. "Last I heard, he was wandering Fentrol."

Nelanora smiled at her husband then turned out of the Library and walked back out into the Garden. She smiled and nodded at the gardener, who bowed in return as she entered into the glass Garden lounge room. There were white and gold fainting chairs along with one marble, golden gilded table. She took off her shoes and walked out to the balcony that over-looked the kingdom. She lied down on the lounge chair near the low railing, looking out at the sunset. Nelanora closed her eyes, sighed, and let herself slowly drift off into a dreamless sleep.

Wanderer's eyes brightened at the good news and she grinned. "Surprisingly, Fentrol was the next place on my list. Maybe if I find the prince and return him home in time, I just might be able to compete after all. But I must be quick about it which unfortunately means I can't stay here too long. Probably just for a night." she said as she began to make calculations in her head. Caroline followed her brother up the spiral staircase, clinging the book tightly to her chest. She stayed quiet and looked behind her every few seconds to make sure there wasn't anyone following them. The last thing she needed was for someone to hear of her plan, besides her brother. He was the only one she could ever trust even though she knew he would disagree completely. This was something she had to do. She was not going to stand around and watch her people suffer.

"Nonsense!" Deaven scoffed and waved his hand dismissively when he heard her. "If you are in that much of a rush, then I will simply teleport you there." he smiled. "But in return, I'd like you to find my son, as well." he chuckled and brushed some of his olive green hair behind his ear. "You see, my son tried a teleportation spell himself, but he's not yet able to control it. So I assume he's landed in either Trities or Entrada." he said, unafraid of the word Entrada.

Aki put her hands in her jacket pockets. "Hm. Looks like the sea is gonna be a bit rough. We might have to wait till' morning to cross it." She said- eyeing the large cloud in the distance.
"Hm? Oh. That thing..." She raised her head and quirked her eyebrow. "Big storm."

Wanderer grinned at him and chuckled. "Sure thing! Won't be much of problem. Tell me though, your son will be an easy catch right?" she asked as she crossed her arms. She had been to Trities and Entrada once before. Though she had barley made it out of Entrada alive. Yet in her mind, if she survived there once then she could go there again. She'd do anything to find Lucida's son and make her smile again even if it meant risking herself to find Daeven's son. "Oh and I'll need a picture of him so I'll know exactly who I'm looking for." she said.

"Now finding Ace is the hard part." Deaven chuckled. "He owns a mask that can help him shapeshift." he said and muttered an old spell, making a cloud of magic begin to swirl around Wanderer. "But search for a boy with either a cat or a crow next to him." he smiled as the cloud thickened. "And the competition begins in three days! Good luck!" he said before the cloud completely covered Wanderer and teleported her to the Entrada-Trities border.
"O-Overnight?!" Ace yelped. "B-But I'll be killed!" he frowned and looked around.
