The jofuku turret appeared grabbing San as he exlaimed to all parties involved. They were all rather strong ninja, and could easily save themselves from a technique like this.
"Shunshin!"
The turret grabbed San as it used shunshin no jutsu to take the two of them in the direction of the artisan district, to were Titan was retreating. Appearing in a alleyway, the tofuku used kagura shingan again to track down the retreating jashin commander.
Elsewhere, from where they had just come from, the spiraling Iron sand pyramid drill would continue on its path from the right aiming for the first wind jutsu user. The spiked ball would follow a similar path aiming for the other wind user while the four lances would continue pressing through the jashin to make a "through and through" wound. The changing shape direction, aim a few inches or feet higher and then crank back through the jashin again.

Lucas had just enough time to see the shop and start towards it before the wind began. he then dropped the apple and ran as fast as he could to the shop. he got in just in time and barred the door.
"so. what now?"
he asked james a little hungry but not sure if they should continue on quite now.

"Ah s**t," Howaido having been right behind San had to get going immediately using various movement techniques from his bukijutsu to chase after San and keep out of the way of those nasty air attacks. "Is he just playing games or something, yeesh!"

Several of the more bukijutsu-styled Jashin were going weapon to weapon with Siniku's guard, keeping their traction as the ancient Egyptian men wailed blow upon blow on them. In this way, Siniku would be able to provide great support from behind his guards while they themselves took the beatings from the iron-sand impaled & bloody Jashin Elitists. The more elemental-styled Jashin immediately left to chase those fleeing, using precious Kawarimi skills to trade blows with the surrounding rubble, even as they continued the pursuit. Dodging to & fro around fallen buildings, the first Fuuton Elitist jumped into a patch of dying embers & emitted a Shinkuu Gyoku (Vacuum Sphere) through the mounds to arc over the rubble as flaming air bullets at the pursuing shinobi. It would be a death march for the stationary man as the iron sand would near, but the second pressed on without him, slipping into the shadows to escape sight detection.
San's momentary detection of the boss figure Titan would lead him vulnerable to the flaming Vacuum Spheres, though Howaido may have his defense all set & ready as they were a spectacular duo! Rounding the northwest corner of the Artisan's district, he would note that even more people had abandoned the district, all heading directly for the northern entrance. "Hostages... perfect." The little thief girl was in the mix of all those fleeing, & she too would be a part of the hostage situation as Titan neared.

With James & Lucas huddling inside the delicious smells of the wreckage that consisted of the lower districts, their ears would pick up on the deadly rats from San's earlier encounter. Several dozen beady little ruby eyes glared through the darkness, some with bones popping out of their necks, & some with their heads misaligned. Titan was nowhere near the area, but the evil Jashin-like rats would spring forwards for their next meal, fangs bared.
Out a long ways from the village, but within sight, Two & Kirigakure's Doku Le would crest a dune. Smoke plumes & fires could be witnessed from such a distance, & the damage was exceedingly visible as the previous Korabo'd ninjutsu set off a large damage spike. Motioning to the yonder city, Two indicated with complex hand motions that several hundred opponents lay within & beyond the walls. Knicking his boot on the ground, a piece of metal uncovered, & he reached down to touch it. Two never speaks--ever--due to his vow of silence, but this one time he nearly emitted a sound as he quietly mouthed the words, "Caledfwlch & Afal," before a strange dark purple light engulfed him. Much to the surprise of Doku Le, Two & the strange metal upon the ground would be no more, removed from the current timeline.

San spoke quickly to Howadio through the bonds golem as the jofuku told the location of Titan. Unfortuneatly standing like that made him vunerable, and Howaido would have to assist in dodging the jutsu. Fortunately though, the Iron Sand techniques penetrated the standing Jashinist in nearly the same way that his friend had been hit earlier, ensuring a clean dehabilitation and kill.
"Howaido! Grab me! Hes in the artisan district! And theres hostages!"

James Cameron Poe The Frozen SandJames leap back form the demon rodents, and swept his hand forward, again creating a swarm of ice swallows with razor sharp beaks. James focused on guiding the swallows to pin the rats to the floor. (So we go from slaying evil Jashin cultist to killing evil rats. Howaido was quick to respond grabbing San from behind under the arms keeping his own hands free for seals. He moved quick and swiftly heading for the artisan district,"We cant let him keep moving how do we stop him and pin him down? Its got to be big enough to hit him but small enough to get only him, ideas?"

Without hesitation as the rats were now in between the sweet smells and Lucas' stomach Lucas quickly assimilated with his steel dagger and dispersed into senbon quickly aiming and driving towards the rat hord. this made him think of a game he'd played on his travels called dungeons and dragons. some of the particles formed into a cloud and began vibrating in such a way as to be able to speak.
"james. just try freezing them in place as much as you can. i'll kill them."

Bast trundled along in the cart, a passenger of the luggage and her companion. She noticed a hostage situation developing nearby, and motioned for the vehicle to come to a halt. Once it stopped, she hopped out of her cart and strolled forward, weaving her fingers through a length of wire and making a crisscrossing pattern between her and the other group.
"Excuse me, what's going on here?" she called, not bothering to tilt her blue stone head toward Titan. "Perhaps there is something that you would like?"
Before the two had arrived on the scene, Anima had taken the opportunity to Reverse-Summon the contents of the cart to her companion's warehouse. While the latter opened negotiations, the lady simply sat, her halo moving slowly around on its own as she looked upon the scene with the same look of boredom that she usually sported.

As Titan stood there with a large grouping of hostages, he pulled a young woman tightly to his chest. "You will all die," the military man spoke aloud as a black cloud of smoke expanded out explosively. "What--" Cut off in mid sentence, the little meat shield girl coughed as she was dropped to the ground. Behind her, where Titan should have been, was a pile of immensely cold rocks. Titan had been removed from the field, forcefully. Wandering out from the smokey haze, the empty-handed thief girl continued to run for the northern entrance, her job completed here. Faster & faster she ran, blurring through the Anubis guards' station before they could notice her. An eerie silence fell across the city, & even the Jashin Cultists seemed to have retreated for now.
The rat horde, frozen & in pieces, lay scattered about the restaurant. Some food had been eaten, but the majority of it had escaped the rats' blight. A chef eeked out from under a broken table, then, pleading to the genin to get the heavy object off of him. "Please, young men, get this table off of me! I'll cook you anything you want free of charge!"

"I'll get the table Lucas, keep an eye on things." James stepped forward and lifted the table. Keeping an eye on the man under it.

Bast weathered the explosion with ease. Thanks to her durable body, the sudden movements did absolutely nothing but cause Bast to aim for the girl who had suddenly exerted a large amount of Chakra. The woman waited until the rate at which her target's horizontal position relative to her own was changing had dropped close to zero, and then unleashed a finely aimed Ayametori.
With a citizen suddenly taken hostage, Anima decided to use the Wind Retrieval Technique to call over a large sheet of corrugated metal in case of sudden blood spurts. It hovered next to the cart and absorbed the sudden explosion nicely, leaving the lady to eat her snacks.
