[ η X is entering from the Abandoned Towns traveling thread ]
Okay, a lighthouse. η X could guess that much what with the tall tower and the sound of waves nearby. There was the fact a map mentioned one somewhere too, and seeing as there was no corn and he wasn't feeling the sand of a beach, η X figured this was probably it. The only problem was the fog and the fact he was basically lost.
η X made the effort to wander around carefully, trying not to stumble on any of the jagged rocks. The things were all over the place! Of course out of the places he could have ended up, it had to be the one with a bunch of rocks. He had not had good experiences with them so far. η X just wanted to find a door into the lighthouse where it was, hopefully, safe.

"Hey... wait up." Eta VI carefully followed after Eta X, doing her best to keep up. It wasn't easy with her mace; its weight made things much more difficult. Still, it was a nice weapon to have. Seeing some of the others hit themselves with nunchucks made her grateful for the simple but bulkier weapon.
"I wonder if there are more groups out here too." The others had mentioned another group in the Abandoned Town... was there a group here at this lighthouse too?

She got lost in the fog again. B9 decided that maybe she could just hide in it. By herself. Well that was a sucky idea.
Wait. Was that more people. Other teams? Oh, a beta maybe too? "Beta 1? Anyone else here?"

Beta I did not recognize the other team colors. But she saw them. She saw them and registered them. Her only thoughts on that? 'Thirteen will live. They are not Beta members. They are a threat to your survival. Exterminate.' Before she could go shank a b***h, she found herself called out by number.
The blue colors of her 'teammate' were a most welcome sight.
"Beta 9. I am glad to see you are well. Have you seen the others? I lost the previous group I was with and was attacked by some..thing. I kicked it and all is well. The danger passed. So-" She looked her assumed ally up and down. How are you fairing?"

The other team hadn't seen her. Thank god. B9 was afraid they'd all just jump her and that would be the end of her here. Her phone went off and she read the text from earlier. Only halfway through? Really? There seemed to be an awful amount of people left still. They'd all die at this rate.
She was glad though that Beta 1 had heard here. Safety in numbers. Someone she hoped to trust. "I did. They went into the Lighthouse I think." B9 tried to find the lighthouse again but couldn't, darn fog. "I didn't want to go into it myself so, here I am. What really? What attacked you? Another team?" She swallowed. "Something else?"
B9 looked around. "I'm fine. All intact. Have the weirdest luck of not running into any danger yet." But now, oh why did she even say that? She could just feel it. Something would get her soon.

Beta I shrugged. "I naturally assume in greater numbers their chances of survival are increased. The percentage of others non-betas running about is higher then anticipated. Alone we stand a smaller chance at making it. But in pairs or small groups, our rate of success is far greater." Lifting up an ankle, Beta I felt nothing more then a few stings over the wound. "A small flying shadow like thing. It was mildly aggravating, but a stab here, a kick there proved most effective. It was-" Her dagger was given a light pat. "Quite easy to handle."
Her head turned into the thick of the fog. "I do not think it wise of us to linger here however. Creatures like the one that attacked me might be lingering, It might be wise of us to move from this location. Sadly though you may not be comfortable with the idea, the lighthouse would provide better fortification. As we stand out in the open, we are..." She tapped her chin. "Sitting ducks after all."

B9 looked around. Nothing seemed to be trying to kill her. Yet. She eyed the other team that had walked by before looking back to Beta 1. "That makes sense. There was at least half of the rest of the Beta group when I last saw them." Good chances for them. Better chances for her and this other girl now that they had found one another. "Shadow? Shadows can attack?" What fun this place was proving to be... B9 felt lucky at least to find someone confident in their own fighting skills.
"I am completely fine with going somewhere else. This place is creeping me out." The lighthouse? It was the only shelter they had seen. At least maybe inside they'd be able to see unlike in the fog. "True. Lighthouse then? It's, er, that way I think." B9 pointed back towards where she'd come from earlier.

"Well I guess -- ow!" η X instinctively turned around and made a very ridiculous slapping motion at the creature that was the source of the attack, though it looked more like he was trying to doggy-paddle. "What.. what is it?!"

S a l l y S h e e p η X slowed down a bit and waited for η VI. "Sorry," he said as he turned around. He didn't want to leave anyone who had made the effort to stick with him behind! Her idea of more groups than just his and the other of the Abandoned Town's made him stop and think for a moment, and only a moment. Contemplating things for too long wasn't his specialty.

Swatting at the creature, η X told it in a stern voice, "No," as if it were a bad puppy. He was actually considering it as the same concept too.

(Zeta Ten/Cupcake entering from Alone, but Lonely)
She walked through the fog, and realized it was a great cover as she wandered. How she hadn't picked up on this before she wasn't really sure but for now it worked very well for her. She didn't have to be afraid of being alone if she could hide in the area around herself, at least for the time being. When something else came up, she would make a new choice, but for now this suited her. Zeta Ten stayed in the fog.
