"You wouldn't do well here." Jaden said closing his eyes and cracking his neck seeming to relax slightly as if the other Lycan had passed some sort of hidden test and was approved. "I chose this place since it was derelict and no thing would come here, not after I took up residence." Brushing his hair out of his shimmering red eyes he looked at the other Lycan that though he looked older than himself was so much younger. "The pack has apartments set up near Club FM if you really need them but I don't think you should stay here."

Jaden scratched his ears in wonder. Strange that new puppy's would come to around to his scent first. If he hadn't been around here to get his book he may have forgotten that he used to live here. It was also kind of strange at being viewed as dominant without him having to use some kind of force, it was a refreshing feeling. It was time to get back to his renovating though. With that in mind Jaden wisked away silently into the darkness.

((exit to Myyth's apartment))

"Okay, should I do this, or shouldn't I?" His hands were shaking and he was more than a little nervous. Dessik finally got up enought nerve to knock twice on the door and then stood patiently waiting for an answer.

Dessik smiled and opened the door. "Hey there buddy, long time no see, eh? So just some random requests I'm gonna throught at ya, K? First one, if you choose to listen, is what's been going on? I've been gone for soo very long that I haven't been in the loop. Second is, how's the little hulk wolf doing these days?" He stood in the middle of the room, not sure what he could and couldn't do, his whole body antsy. "Can I sit?"

He was glad he could sit and he did so smoothly. He looked at him and then looked at his hands, counting off each point. "One, you're right. We were never friends. In fact, I recall you wanted to kill my family, or at least my brother who was messing with Myyth. Two, 'loop' as in what's been going on in the city? What are the elders up to? What are you two up to? And three, by hulk wolf, I mean..... well I don't know what I mean, but if I did, I would've explained it to you." He stopped for a second and thought. "So where is Myyth anyway? Has she been in lately? I had planned to talk to her first but I couldn't find her."

He picked at the couch, "Oh, yeah, I love coming down here, you know, for the beautiful scenery, and your sunny disposition makes coming down here worth it, but enough about this place. How about we start over?" He leaned back into the couch and crossed his legs. "I dunno why I'm asking this but I need a handhold right now, until I can get back on my feet. I'm not going to use the word friends because that's a little strong for what I want. I was thinking more like an ally. You being one, of course." He sat forward again and ran his hand through his hair. "I know it seems out of the blue, but I don't have much to fall back on. And when you fall in this city, you fall hard." He stood, and felt antzy again. He looked jaden in his eye. "So what do you think? I'm expecting a no, but I would like to hear a yes, if you don't mind."

"I'm not asking for a wing man, or an a** kisser. No one's after me, last time I checked," he chuckled. "And I don't think I've lost anything yet. Can't someone want to befriend someone without there being a ulterior motive? It's not like I'm using you and I don't need your strength in the least."
