Stopping to catch her breath, she gave up on catching up to Arete. But it was as she rested she heard the venomous voices of discord. Looking around, she spotted Fenrir and Cherry a bit away from her. Opening her mind, she saw what was happening with both of them. Liliana closed herself off to Fenrir and focused on Cherry. Cherry, do you need a way out of here? she mentally asked in concern. She had faced down Fenrir's anger once before. And she'd do it again to protect a child from him.

When Jasper flew over the roots, he looked down and spotted Cherry and Fenrir. It was hard to miss the presence of a werewolf, two actually. Suddenly he dived down and landed on the soft ground with a thud. The two seemed to be having a heated discussion, just the look on Cherry's face proved it. But that didn't answer why she was in Kusana.

Zebulon passed through the gates with ease, as he was now exiting. A large pillar made of tranparent green energy formed under him, launching him into the sky. As he perched himself on top of a root that was sticking out a bit, he could feel a few lives not too far away. They felt angry and worried. A fourth... a mother protecting her child from bandits it seemed. But what seemed was not always the case. In Zebulon's home country, most people did not know about his kind, and went their days with ignorance. He decided to interfere. Using a pillar to break his fall (By putting it at an angle, making it so the fall is just me sliding to the ground), he made his way to the disturbance. He began to use his calming aura to force everyone to cooperate. He thought he knew the man. A Legend in his home country they told small children who were naughty. But he wasn't sure.
With a calm voice, Zeb inquired to Cherry and Fenrir, "What's the matter here? Maybe I can mediate."

'Get Selene out of here Lilianna...I'm going to give her to Jasper. He can fly her out of here. Please make sure he isn't followed and go after him. Don't go to the Spire. Fenrir will find her there.' Cherry inched back and looked to the man who asked if there was something he could do to help.
She quickly turned and looked to Jasper. Surely Fenrir would be a little distracted from the crowd that had gathered. She pushed the sleeping child into his arms. "Take her away Jasper. Take her far away! Don't tell me where just go now and make sure she is safe!"
Turning and placing herself between Fenrir and Jasper who was now holding Selene, the woman glared at the lycan and yet spoke to the young man. "You can't mediate a fight between a mother and a father. As much as I would appreciate your help, perhaps it is best if you just leave. I have a feeling things are going to get very bloody..."

[Yay! Jasper sounded like a Paladin for his very first time! XD]
When Selene was suddenly shoved into his arms, Jasper was speechless. Was this what Fenrir had turned into? A vicious dog that that would even harm his lover to get what he wanted? Wait. He already had been like that. But he wouldn't leave Cherry hear with him. "I don't want to leave you here with him, I'll protect you until the very end." He said righteously.
