Cain tried to eat, but he coughed u the food. He was exhausted and his body was in a very weak state. He falls onto his back.
"I'm sorry...I probably look terrible, don't I?"

"I can still see you, so you're not that bad..." she said as she helped Cain slowly sip some water. "But you'll need your strength if you want to keep up with me again." Smiling, Liliana had a little of what she brought.

Cain laughed as he sipped the water.
"I'll be back up soon. I have to protect the person I love."
He smiled as he reached up and touched her face. He looked as if he was gonna fall asleep

Haruki was still silent in the background, kicking his foot back and forth. All the while he was thinking "Eww! Old people love!" But he dared not to say anything, he walked around a bit, wondering how things were going back in Pronta. He withdrew the teddy bear he was hiding within his coat and held it close while he waited, this was their moment, even if he knew absolutely nothing about 'love'.

Happy he was getting something down, Liliana turned back to Haruki. "So, you want to be tough? Why?" she asked, point-blank. She had no problem helping him but if he went out to bring pain and destruction from what she taught, she would end him herself right here.

Haruki blushed and hid his teddy once again, he thought she was talking to somebody else! "I...err...well..." Haruki wanted to point out all the things he wanted to be stronger for. "I want to be stronger than my daddy...he left me to die alone so I want to be big and strong and beat him up!" That was just a personal reason. "But...I want to use my strength to help people so they don't end up like me...somebody once told me I led a life of sadness and would stay like that for a really really really long time, something about my heart or soul?" He felt he was getting a bit deep and cut off there. "And then I want to be able to save people...like Miss Arturia back at...she promised she'd adopt me when we made it out but she didn't because I wasn't strong enough...I don't want other people to hurt like I do, which is why I want to be really tough like Ms. Pix and Flower and Mr. Monster too!" It was a child's dream, but he wanted a happy world. He silently added on to what he'd said in sadness. "I only called her mommy for a second and she was gone, can I even protect people if they all get hurt because of me? Should I just give up because I'm a weakling?" Tears ran down his face, he hated being a kiranu, how easy it was for him to have a mood swing!

Cain had regained some of his strength as he stands up. He walks over to Lili and holsters his now ruined pstol. He looks at the little Kiranu.

"Wha...?" Haruki wiped his eyes with the too long sleeve of his coat and looked up. "Maybe it can, but I want to be really tough!" Haruki said with a sure nod. "Oh...what's a bullet?" Haruki asked, not knowing what the heck he'd just responded about, was a bullet something he'd seen before?

"Oh...okay." Haruki complied and walked up to her. He slipped his tiny hand in to her's, but wondered what this was doing. He'd never heard of seers efore so he knew nothing about their abilities. For now he was just extremely confused.

The fog was lifting finally and she could see what had been done to her. The small hand in hers had helped. "You're quite strong even without being tough, Haruki." A writhing aura caught the corner of her eye as she looked over. "Is there something I can help you with Demetrio?" she asked, her milky green eyes trained on this Cursed Soul. "You don't need to worry. You walk among friends." While most would be ill at ease with what she saw from this man's aura, she couldn't bring herself to turn him away. There was so little kindness left in this blood-soaked city...

"I'm really not so strong..." Haruki said modestly, he may have been much stronger than a fair amount of adults while he was only nine or ten, but he never really thought about it like that, he tried his best not to question adults. In fact, his cowardly nature kept him from having real strength, as soon as he saw Demetrio he was striken with fear, as he normally is around new people. He hid behind Liliana since he was extremely shy, he could hardly speak to others, it was just the curse of being so young, everybody was always so scary and tough.

Liliana smiled, seeing the spike of power in his aura. "Just because they can't see it doesn't mean it's gone," she stated, gesturing to Cain and Haruki. "Am I to assume you're looking for a teacher as well?" She drew Haruki close, in case he became uneasy from the new man.
