 Show Me How To Lie....
Considering a moment, the redhead decided not to let to let the situation drop completely. Sky didn't seem to be the type to let other's sway her opinions, and so she would take to hear what he said, or simply ignore it. "My brother's paying for classes himself. He's balancing a full course load, a job, and a social life." not that his brother studied, but that was something that didn't need to be brought up. Cutting into his steak, he forks a piece into his mouth to chew thoughtfully. "You could go to school part time, and it isn't as if you couldn't find someone to help you study if you only asked." he pointed out, spearing another piece of meat with his fork.

Skylar finished with her salad before turning to her stake and started to cut it into bite size pieces. How could say it nicely. 'I have dyslexia no matter if I wanted to go to college and work, I can't'. That would be slightly rude. "My work is at night and I will end up asleep once the sun comes up." She pointed out. He had never really addressed the sleeping issues. This guy was going at it. He wanted her to go when she just couldn't.

Show Me How To Lie....
Chewing thoughtfully on his steak, the redhead points his fork at the girl. "I don't see how that takes up twenty-four hours." he tells her, shifting the contents of his plate around. Pulling the tails off the shrimp on his plate, he piles them carefully to the side. "But it's still your choice. You're welcome to ignore me." he shrugs, popping a shrimp into his mouth.

It's not so much that working took up all her time it was something else. "Well I would only be able to take morning classes that would limit the amount of classes I could take and who knows if I'd want to go to bed." The teenager pointed out. The word was kind of against her going for a college degree. Not that she didn't want to totally learn more.

Poking his steak with his fork, he swallowed the seafood in his mouth before continuing. "So take the afternoon classes you really want in high school. While only morning classes will limit things, it doesn't make them hopeless." he points out, stabbing more steak with his fork. "And you can always request one on one tutor sessions. The teachers are here because we want to help kids." placing the meat in his mouth, he considers carefully. There were plenty of options, but not all of them were suitable, but he was far from giving up.

Sky munched on the food while she thought. It was a habit that was probably coming to light. "The only problem with taking classes is that this is my last year and the classes are already set. I could do afternoon classes while I'm in sandman training. I already know everything they are going to say anyways." Sky commented giving in a little.

Grinning triumphantly as she caved slightly, he pushed the remaining shrimp around his plate. "See? There are ways to make it work." popping another piece of shrimp into his mouth, he chewed and swallowed quickly. "You just have to want it." he added, hoping it sounded less like he was pushing for it. Finishing his steak, he's pleased with his small pile of shrimp.

Sky glanced around her as she started to eat a little more then turned back to Adney. "The next question would be what do I want to study? I wouldn't want to continue and study just fighting, but that's all I really know." She commented thinking about what she wanted to do.

Pleased that they seemed to get getting somewhere, he picks at his potato, eating it slowly. "Well, what do you like?" he asked, wondering what was wrong with studying just fighting. Near all of his brother's classes somehow centered around combat, and the younger redhead still had no idea what he was doing with his life. He'd decide eventually, probably on a whim. Adney, however, would teach for the rest of his life; he owed it to the school that had taken in both of his brothers, and himself when they'd had nothing.

Sky was about to answer back in a sarcastic tone 'fighting'. At least she didn't. Instead the girl thought. "Maybe Illusions and magic. I don't know who the teacher is. I should probably contact the illusions teacher and ask for advice." She mumbled out.

Adney came very close to laughing out loud at her mumblings, and instead shook his head. Unable to restrain the small smirk that threatened his features, he pointed his fork at her seriously. "Illusions are very fun. But I hear the teacher is a brute." he warned her, stabbing a piece of shrimp at the end of his sentence for dramatic effect. "I overheard one of my students describe him as callous, but with rugged good looks." he added, poking the shrimp into his mouth.

Sky listen to Adney about the teacher. The way he described him it made it sound a certain way. "It kind of sounds like he's a boastful idiot. I mean tough and handsome don't go together unless there is boastful in there." She commented as she ate her potato.

Nearly choking on his shrimp in an attempt to hide his laughter, he manages to get it down. Coughing, he takes a drink of soda to help it down. The redhead takes a moment to consider his mental faculties and checking on his humble pie. "Maybe a little boastful. But I doubt Len would let an idiot teach." he points out, continuing to eat in silence for a few minutes. "I'm sure he just isn't sure how to relate to his students. I hear he's getting better on the callous part." he offers, wondering if the student would pick up on his hints any time soon. Or worse, if she already knew and was simply insulting him because that was how she felt.

Sky was going to pick this teacher apart. "I bet this guy doesn't even have a boyfriend. What girl in their right mind want to go out with a guy like that. However if he has some unique life experience then that would make that person a little more worth hiring." The girl pointed out. Maybe she should get into illusions.

Deciding it was good to pick on yourself once in a while, the drama and illusions teacher nodded in agreement. "I agree. No matter how handsome he is, no girl in her right mind wants to date a pompous a**." he agreed, eating another piece of shrimp. He waved his fork at the idea of unique life experiences, dismissing the idea. "He's probably just one of those rich fancy nobles with a cushy life who got bored and decided he could teach." which was extremely far from the truth, but they were speaking hypothetically. This was a rather fun game, even if they were both mocking him.
