Called it. Jack sarcastically thought to himself. I knew she was going to be something like that. Guess it can't be helped. I wonder where Raya went. Leaving VI Training he put his armor back in his locker and went elsewhere. Not sure what he should go, he decided to explore the campus a bit. First, he went to his dorm room to see if there was anyone in the halls. Second, he made his way to the cafeteria to get some food but decided he wasn't feeling hungry quite yet so he decided to explore elsewhere. Finally, he went over to the garages. He wanted to check out the cars but mostly to see the mechs.
"Well look who it is," Jack said with a grin seeing Raya and someone he didn't recognize. "And a new friend. Name's Maine, Jack Maine." He introduced himself like James Bond with a grin. He held out his hand to shake his hand.

Angel watched in silence as the two young students traded introductions. With a grin, the boy - Requiem, he called himself - raised a hand. Angel knew at a glance he was planning to pat the engine, though that wouldn't have been such a good idea. She raised her hands in warning, trying to stop him. "No, wait, don't-!"

Too late, Requiem slammed his hand down on the car's hood, and it released a thick cloud of gray smoke. Angel got caught right in the middle, and she waved it away. She coughed a few times to get the polluted air out of her throat, then raised an eyebrow cynically at the boy. Soon enough, another joined their little group, causing Angel to raise the other eyebrow. The last time she checked, the garage wasn't the Recreation Room. She raised an eyebrow as the newest arrival introduced himself, James Bond style. Angel wasn't amused.

"Charmed, I'm sure," she replied, not bothering to take his hand. It was probably better if she didn't, anyway, seeing how her hands were covered in oil and grime. "Now if you don't mind, I've got some work to attend to -" she gestured to the long line of cars piled up, "- and so, I can't stay to chat. You probably wouldn't either, unless you want the ring of metal striking metal staying in your head for days. Bleachers are over there if you want to watch." Angel jerked her thumb over to her right, indicating a set of trashed car seats that were ripped out of their respective shells. With that, she twirled her wrench around her fingers and walked off. As she did, she passed by Billy, and she murmured to him, "Go see what they want. Get rid of them if you can, so that they don't litter up the place. I don't want to get blamed if your wrench hits one of 'em in the face."

Billy looked up, glancing at the little group his boss had indicated. They looked strong and menacing. Probably armed, too. Billy pulled a face. He'll get to them later. Maybe.

Raya grinned at Requiem, "Fast is always good." She laughed when smoke billowed out over the girl (Angel), "Careful with that. Oxygen asphyxiation is not a pleasant feeling. Trust me, I know from experience." She chuckled as Jack showed up and shifted her voice into a perfect British accent, "Hello, Mister Bond, long time no see." She noticed that the mechanic girl (whom had yet to introduce herself) seemed to want them gone. She turned to the two boys, keeping the accent, "Gentlemen, it seems the lady would like us to vacate the premises."

"Hello Mr. Maine." Requiem said with a grin, "You may call me Requiem." he looked down as smoke billowed from underneath the vehicle. Taking multiple steps away from it just to be safe from damaging it anymore. "i do believe that is what she wants." he said going with the accent as well. "shall we go get something to drink? preferably...shaken?" chuckling to himself he walked over to one of the doors and opened. "ladies first."

Jack fanned away the dust as he inhaled, coughing to clear his lungs. "Indeed, it sheemsh we should take our leave while we can," Jack continued with a more Sean Connery-esque accent. He gestured for the exit and waited for the others to take the first step.

Az had managed to remove most of the chunks by the time a driver came in, obivously a little frozen. People believed her division insane but the mechanics and operators always felt a step ahead hence her concern for Kinosei. Still, she stayed atop the beautiful machine until the trio left even if it hurt not to tease Jack and his normal greeting. Yeah, she'd heard him as well as the driver- Requiem. Now that was an interesting name.
Azrael sighed when she felt the pang of thirst hit her and removed the bloodied gloves before simply jumpping off of the machine. Upon landing she tossed the gloves away and went to grab a water bottle out of the machine just outside the hangar. Feeling the need to avoid Angel- incase the woman wished to send her away, good luck- and plastered a smile on her face as she walked past without a word. Not that she had no confidence in herself but even Az knew the face of every person even thinking about taking a course in Ground Combat or Stealth Ops.
Thankfully her trip to the machine hadn't caused attention but on her trip back, the girl cringed as her phone and beeper went off loudly and the sound resonated within the hangar. Az patted the items into silence but couldn't help but seize up as she felt a few eyes focused souly on her. "Great...

Completely focused on the matter of a convertible's defect, Angel didn't notice as Azrael calmly walked past. She leaned forward a bit more into the engine, tilting her head and biting her lip. Unconsciously, she tapped her open palm with her other hand, which was holding the oily wrench. Later on, she would reprimand herself for having habits that tended to get her even more filthy than she would have wanted. Currently, her mind was completely distracted with the matter of the car. She vaguely knew what the problem was, but she couldn't quite make it out. And just when she was on the verge of solving the problem-

Ring! The harsh electronic sound resonated clearly throughout the hanger. The solution was lost, and Angel glanced up, furious, at the source of the sound. It was the beeper of a girl, and she glanced apologetically at Angel before turning it off. Angel recognized her. Azrael belonged in the Ground Combat and Stealth Ops divisions. With any other person, Angel would have immediately chewed them out, but she'd seen the girl a couple of times before. She was an honest and hard worker, so Angel knew that she didn't come strolling through the garage just to pester the Mechanics.

In fact, Angel thought it was quite funny how Azrael seemed to freeze up when her phone rang. She raised an eyebrow and said, "It ain't a crime, darling. Go ahead and answer the phone."

There was nobody in the training hall. Victoria cursed and hurled a rock at the wall, then left. There seemed to be some kind of commotion down at the garage.
"Whatever," Victoria growled aloud as she passed it. "I'm getting out of here. This place is all crap."

Raya laughed and walked out of the garage, "All hail the mighty Sean Connery. So, let's go grab some lunch, hmm boys?"
PostPosted: Sun May 08, 2011 11:56 am

"Agreed," Jack said following behind Raya in step. He wasn't that hungry but he figured it was better to eat with friends than to eat alone. "Onward to the cafeteria!" He proclaimed triumphantly pointing in the general direction of the cafeteria. "Come along Reqium!"

Victoria noticed people behind her. "Get away from me." She walked faster.

"And were off!" he said laughing as he walked out the door with raya and Jack. "Hail Sean Connery!" They seemed nice, Jack seemed to have no problem meeting new people and in fact loved making jokes. New best friend indeed requiem thought as he walked with them. Raya, an interesting name and ,although stealth ops, seemed kind enough. he turned around and said a tad loudly "sorry for covering you in smoke. forgive me."

Victoria stood there, scowling. "I might forgive you if you tell me how to get out of this place."

Requiem pointed at the door in which he had opened. "you go through the door." you think it would have been obvious. He said and turned out of the doorway so that she may exit. she wasn't ahappy person, easy enough to tell. Personal trauma, perhaps. Some form of special ops and definately ground combat. She didn't seem to like him either, which made Requiem make sure to be cautious and wary around this new gal. "the name is Requiem, Mind if i know yours?"

"Thanks, I'll see if I can't potty train the pups. The mecha I was working on needs to be looked at inside and out. Call me if you need anything." Az nodded her thanks to Angel before smiling and walking out of the hangar as she picked up the phone. It was one of her officers and she sighed knowing the first thing out of his mouth was going to be a string of insults so she held the phone away while looking at the message on her beeper. As she did that with one hand, she worked with quick fingers to connect the phone to the headset already present in her ear. Picking up on the last few seconds of screaming, she heard him say she was late to some class. Before she could argue that she wasn't signed up for it, she remembered she was supposed to be a demonstrator for it.
Wasting no time, she ignored the message on her beeper and sped through the halls while spewing curses. She was coming up quickly on the group that left the hangar just moments ago and Az all but pushed them away. When she finally reached the shooting range on the other side of campus, she slid into a spot behind parts of a gun. In no time, the previously disassembled gun was now whole and ready to go.
The second she finished, she noticed a small group of new students staring in amazement- her commanding officer smiling and applauding her.
"It took you all of 3 minuets to get over here and have that gun ready. Where were you?"Az frowned and put the gun down before she pulled the trigger and someone got hurt. "The other side of campus." With a sigh, she took the weapon apart and then walked onto the range now affectivly ignoring the man and the students.
