I was teased by a classmate of mine for reading a book that was considered girly. I may be a girl, but everyone knows I prefer hardcore stuff. And since lots of people here read, I wasn't bugged much.

But I hit him with said book anyway.

All the time.

My friend's claim I'm soul-less because I ignore them when I read.
My 'soul-sucking books' are cause for much laughter among my peers.

My teacher once took my novel when I was reading in class; I pulled out another. She caught me and took that one away too. I pull out a manga; she takes that. I pull out a Soduku book; the whole class bursts out laughing.

I'll be damned if I don't have two or three books in my bag at all times.

I was often talked about in my private school for the types of books I read. Like I was reading "The Secret Under My Skin" and some girls thought it was wrong for me to read that because it wasn't Christian and what not.

Usually I hid the fact that I read a lot in Highschool but I am so excited now that my roommate also is a reader. ^_^ We have reading time before bed and have put all our books together for a collected library!
