AEROSMITH WAS FRICKIN' AMAZING!!! The acts up to then weren't that great except Cheap Trick was pretty good. I only knew three songs though. They sang the That 70's show theme!! And then, there they were.. AEROSMITH! Living LEGENDS! I can't remember all hte set list but I know they played Love In An Elevator, Same Ol' Song and Dance, Dream On, Cryin', Sweet Emotion, I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing, Jaded, Walk This Way, Last Child, Draw The Line, Eat The Rich, Livin' On The Edge, a few songs I didn't know and JOE MOTHER ********' PERRY sang a song <3 cool Here's some of my favorite pictures. There's more on my myspace and facebook if you guys have either of the two. Noe if you're anything like me, these next two pictures will get you drooling... It was so cool, I'll never for get it.

You got a picture of Joe beating the guitar with his shirt!!! heart My Aero pictures are crap because they were so far back. crying Here's my review of my weekend away: Thursday morning my dad and I left to go to Sarnia, which is a 4 and a half hour drive. We got there around 3. I stood in line for my concert - AEROSMITH!! while my dad went to the casino, and slept in the car. Gates opened at 6, and I was pretty close. They way they had it set up at this festival was that there was a VIP section in front, and a general section in back. I was in the general section, almost at the rail. First opening act was Suzie McNeil. She was pretty good. Next was State Of Shock, whom I don't really have an opinion on. Anyways, by this point the crowd was really rowdy. Seriously. Worst crowd I've seen in my life. I busted my knee, and had to be pulled out of the crowd by security....which kind of sucked because I had a pretty crummy spot when Aerosmith came on. However, the sound was really good where I was, so I got some recordings. Aerosmith completely ROCKED!! Joe Perry even took off his shirt. AND sang a song. Love him. They played for two hours - Dream On, Jaded, Love In An Elevator, Livin' On The Edge, Cryin', I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing, Walk This Way, Sweet Emotion, Come Together, and a bunch others that I can't remember right now. Then it was time to head home. I slept most of the way home, and we arrived around 4am. I had to get up shortly to be at work for 9. So I worked a full day, then hung around for the Harry Potter Midnight Madness (I work at a bookstore). Let's just say I've never seen so many psychos in one place. Never. Moving on. After getting home about 12:30 from Harry Potter, I managed to grab a couple more hours of sleep before heading off to Sarnia again. This time, we arrived around 2, and I stood in line for DEF LEPPARD. LOVE them!! Gates opened at 5, and I had a spot right on the rail of the general section. This time there were 4 opening bands - Boy In December, The Room, Revolver, and The Ending. The lead singer of Revolver was a cross between Sebastian Bach (Skid Row) and Vince Neil (Motley Crue). Boy in December SUCKED. They were a really bad emo band....and I still can't figure out why they were opeing for Def Lep. The other 3 were good, but I was impatient so I found it hard to enjoy anything past the first 2 songs. Finally, Def Lep hit the stage. They were AMAZING!! One of the best concerts I've EVER been to. Phil Collen even took his shirt off (LOVE him) along with Vivian Campbell. They played two hours - Rocket, Armageddon It, Pour Some Sugar On Me, Photograph, Another Hit N' Run, Bringing On The Heartbreak, Rock On, Two Steps Behind, Mirror Mirror (Look Into My Eyes), Hysteria, Foolin', Love Bites, Animal, Excitable, and Rock Of Ages. Then it was back home again, arriving at 4am. I got to sleep in till noon this time. Went off to my family's cottage to visit my mom, who's up there for the summer with my younger siblings. After a quick visit, it was off to Toronto to see THE POLICE!! I am sooooooo happy that they're doing the reunion tour. I never had the chance to see them, considering they broke up like 23 years ago, and I'm only 17. I arrived around 6:30, bought some merch, and found my seat. The opening band was Fiction Plane, in which Sting's son sings lead. He sounds a lot like Sting. They were REALLY good. I enjoyed them. After them, on came The Police!! They played for quite a while (not sure how long exactly) - Don't Stand So Close To Me, Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic, So Lonely, Message In A Bottle, Can't Stand Losing You, Every Breath You Take, Roxanne, Walking On The Moon, Truth Hits Everybody, Invisible Sun, De Do Do Do De Da Da Da, Wrapped Around Your Finger, The Bed's Too Big Without You, King Of Pain, Walking In Your Footsteps, Driven To Tears, and others that I can't remember right now. They did an AMAZING show, and I absolutely LOVED it!! Needless to say, it was one of the best weekends of my life!! PICTRES!! I didn't get many because cameras actually weren't allowed at any of the concerts, so I snuck mine in. WARNING: The Aerosmith ones are crap because I was so far back. http://s67.photobucket.com/albums/h312/live4music23/Weekend Of Rock/

Oh and I forget to say. During the periods where the bands were setting up they played REALLY good music. They played Hey God by Bon Jovi, Iris and Slide by Goo Goo Dolls, Billy Idol, Evanescene, Matchbox 20, and many more!
And when they played Hey God (for the second time) there was a REALLY hot guy beside me singing it. xd
