Xemnas nodded with a smirk. "Indeed, I can. However, there's still the matter of his brother, Vergil. I'm not sure what's going through his head." He told Sephiroth. Vergil seemed a bit...untrustworthy to Xemnas.

"I know in due time he plans to rid of me and take my place." said Sephiroth, sliding his sword back into it's sheith. "But that will never happen. Once he shows signs of rebellion, Vergil will be killed."

Xemnas nodded. "I know, but I've actually seen that he's been gathering a few followers from your own group. Which reminds me....you may want to have a chat with Berial." He advised.

"Oh?" Sephiroth turned and walked to a large window of the mansion.
Kutaro stood, lowering his arm. "My Lord, if I may speak-"
"You may."
"-Thank you, my Lord. I told you my theory about Berial not being powerful enough to assist us, I believe. He has proven it himself, has he not? In which case, he is only taking up room in your forces."
(Kutaro seems like a lovely person, don't you think? XD)

Xemnas nodded. "Indeed. However, if he's as weak as your friend claims he is, why not let the heroes take care of him for us? His last battle with Dante didn't go too well. I propose that we make him think he'll get another chance to redeem himself, but once he fails, the so called conqueror won't have a chance to feed Vergil any information that could harm us." He suggested.

"It's as if you read my mind, Xemnas." Sephiroth replied, just gazing out the window, arms crossed. "Kutaro, I require you to perform some spy work."
"That is my specialty." He said, holding up his hand in his signature position, near his face. "On whom shall I watch?"
"A friend of Dante son of Sparda and the fox Miles Prower. Her name is Serenity. Something is not right with that girl. I believe she has powers not yet seen."
"As you wish." Kutaro spun on his heel, and in a whirlwind of black he vanished.

Xemnas looked to Sephiroth. "I agree that keeping an eye on the girl is a good idea, but what if Vergil has a spy of his own out there?" He asked.

"Then so be it." Sephiroth said, "If Kutaro dies, then it only shows he is worthless. As with any of my men."

Sephiroth nodded. Then he said quietly, what seemed to himself, "My mother is proud of me, I'm sure. I have made it to the physical world. No longer am I bound by pixels...." He slowly uncrossed his arms, extending his arm and staring at his hand.

Xemnas nodded, having heard Sephiroth. His newfound freedom from the world of gaming made him feel whole, despite his lack of a heart. All he had to do to keep it, was to destroy all the heroes and take over the world.

"There, my success could never happen, because I was the villain, controlled by the creators. But here....I have free will." Sephiroth lowered his arm. "Not to mention the graphics were horrible. But I have work to do. No time for mindless rambling." He turned and left the room.

Meanwhile, Dante walked around the city for a bit with Serenity. He had to admit, even with the lack of excitement, he still had a good time. He then sneezed. Apparently, someone had been talking about the Devil Hunter a while ago.

(It's a gag I've seen on tv a few times. one time thing.)
Dante smiled back at Serenity. He then stared up into the night sky. He kinda liked the peaceful feeling he got from this place right now. Sure, he'd have to find a part time job until he got a chance to reopen Devil May Cry, but times like this were worth the effort.
(at least, it feels like it's night time)
