Snickering could be heard from Kofuku, and she fully lost it when Faleen got pulled into the mud. As funny as the situation had become, it dawned on her how lucky they were that this was just mud, and not something worse.
Noticing Hiromi off to her side getting dangerously close to the mud, she shook her head. "Hiromi, back." She ordered, calling the pokemon back over to her side. "C'mon, really? Do you think now's the time for playing in mud?"

Claire merely stared as practically half of the raid team was pretty much rolling around in the mud. Was this what they were here to do? Was being covered in mud their destiny or something? Come on.
She managed to get past the patch of mud by leaning on the wall and half-clinging to it, unsure if she should help or if that would just yank her into the muddy escapades as well. Unsurprisingly she decided against it, and waited for everyone to get out of the mud.

Faleen gave a snort of amusement at Liam's comments while he pulled her out, wrapping the rope around her wrist, so she could hold on while she was rather easily pulled out of the mud with an unpleasant squelch.
"Thank you Liam." she said, standing up and shaking the mud off of her hands, wiping as much of it off as she could.
"And don't call me Ma'am" she reminded him with a small smile, reaching out to pat his head with a muddy hand.

Following suit with the other Rockets, when Darwin transformed, and Nyx invited him up, Mau joined her on the large pokemon's back.

Thanking her lucky stars for bringing Iditarod along with her on this now rather raucous raid, Isadora clambered onto the Legendary Pokemon's back, attempting to wipe off any excess mud that she could. Her clothes were completely soaked with the messy mud, and she had to struggle and strain to contain her anger and rage at the Elite who had pulled her and Faleen down. He has some serious issues.
Isadora directed Iditarod to walk her over to Claire, where she sighed, trying to wipe off more of the mud, unsuccessfully. "...Thaht was unfohrtunahte."

"Thanks kindly, sir." He released himself from the rope and the Metagross to which it was attached, brushing himself off despite the fact that he was considerably less muddy than, well... just about everyone else. He turned a vague smile on Claire and Isadora as they arrived safely on the other side of the mud. "Shaping up to be a great morning, ain't it?" He didn't linger, though; an even greater destiny surely awaited them further within.

Now on the other side, Liam noticed he was the first to actually arrive safely. Certainly this wasn't the cream of the crop of Team Rocket...? He sighed as he slid off of Viral before recalling the giant Pokemon back into its Poke Ball... and instantly regretted helping these others when Faleen ruined his hat with a muddy hand. His favorite hat!
"Gee, you're welcome Miss Faleen... and... sir..." He didn't know Lucas's name at all and apparently wasn't going to be learning it...

Claire couldn't help the amused smile, though did her best to hide it or conceal it. "Not really, no," she said in response to Lucas' statement, not sure how she could help Isadora clean off all the mud without getting herself coated in it... There wasn't an effective way that she could think of, so she decided to largely ignore it instead. "Don't worry about it too much, maybe you'll get a chance to wash it off later. Better keep moving for now though," she suggested as she turned to continue, following Lucas and wondering what awaited them up ahead.

"Come on," the redhead laughed, helping Seth aboard. A Metagross' back was close seating for two people, but Nadja didn't seem to mind. Much. She sobered somewhat as a thought occurred to her. "Remember the tide."
If Talos was perturbed by the mud dribbling between its eyes, it gave no indication and glided forward, deeper into the cave system.

Shaking her head at Banette when he drifted down toward her, looking concerned, showing she was okay.
continuing to brush the mud off of her, looking up to the others as they made their way across the mud themselves. nodding to Lucas who was with them.
making sure she was out of the way, crouching down to splash water onto her to try and clean more mud from her so they could move on once they were ready.

"Fihne, sure..." Still frowning, Isadora guided Iditarod to follow behind Lucas and Claire further into the cave, whe'er it may lead them. One could only hope it would lead them to a fair destiny - one without too much mud. Arceus already knew how much Isadora did not want more contact with that at the moment. She would definitely need to stop by the laundry room when they all got back.

Nyx let out a sigh as her Meta-mew floated over the mud and the water, there was no sense in walking, risking slipping, or another mud incident, when she had a perfectly good moving platform to sit comfortably on... even though it had an extra passenger on it.
The Agent turned and looked at one of the people who had climbed on-board and glared. "Will. What are you doing on my pokemon? Ugh." She crossed her arms over her chest and glowered.

Seth grunted as he sat upright with Nadja's assitance. "I know..." he mumbled, now completely serious as well. "Hopefully its not much farther."
Once the Metagross landed on firm ground, Seth got off and led the way further in. The stream flowing into a narrower passage, before opening up into a much larger room. Possibly the one they had seen above.
Infront of them was a large expanse of water which reached far beyond what their lights could reach. The stream flowing out from the passage, the opening having a ledge above it, and into the giant lake infront of them. The shore that was visible was the relatively small portion they were standing on.
Will just frowned at Nyx but said nothing.

It wasn't long before they arrived at the end of the road, or rather, the path. Before them was only a large expanse of water that stretched farther than their lights could reach. What would they do now? Violet eyes focused on the two elites with an eyebrow raised in question before scanning the large body of water before them once again. Xina sat down beside Claire to wait, and her owner waited as well for further instructions, curiosity growing as she wondered what they'd encounter next.

Yikes, this place was... huge. Liam managed a stifled "Wooooow," that echoed across the calm waters of the underground lake and far beyond where his eyes could see. This, he wasn't expecting. It was beautiful in an utterly creepy sort of way and he secretly hoped Seth would let the team take a much needed break to wash off mud and sit in the sand at the lake's shore.
