Opening one of the many drawers that lined that side of the bar Adamaeis took out one of the many spare keys to one of the guest rooms that lined the upstaris hallway. Placing it on the bar in front of Rex he smirked.
"Up starirs fifth door on the right, don't go in to any room that has a closed door, and do not disturb anyone you meet... for your own safety." Adamaeis said directing him.

Rex thanks adamaeis and followed his direction then he crashed on the bed and gazed and the ceiling deep into thought

Sora nodded at Rex's comment, facing Adamaeis again. "I do not remember my birth place," she confessed. "It was a long, long time ago, and I do not care to recall it. In any case, my parents and I moved to the mountains when I was young. Back then, there were extremely few Ice Dragons, and the majority of them were old and sickly. Soon enough, they were all killed by those who call them Dragon Slayers - those who gain honour for taking another's life. I find it disgusting. None the less, I grew up on my own in the mountains, and have travelled anywhere I could, learning what I could. I studied the various ways of life, combat and death. I then came back to the mountains, only to find that the once-again thriving Ice Dragons had yet again been attacked. You met me at the palace, where I intended to confront the king about all this. Tell me, Haim. Do you know of his fate?"

Adamaeis nodded in response.
"He was taken by Deaths Avatar, a rather odd fellow who lives between the realms of life and death. The claimed king is now stuck between the realms, trapped there in the nothingness, he will be imprisoned there until Soddus returns is what I expect. That or until Seraph decides what his fate would be, what ever the case I wouldn't enjoy being him right now... or at all in fact." Adamaeis explained.
"So a dragon with no memory of her birthplace, returning home to find it invaded by the humans. Why did you come back?" Adamaeis asked.

"Seems to kind for him," Sora muttered under her breath, before looking up at Adamaeis again.
"I came back because I didn't think there was anything else for me to learn. And then there's something about an illness of a home, which a vampire I had met diagnosed me with. She advised me to go to the mountains again for a while, of which I intended to do. It appears that that was not as wise a decision as it could have been."

Mary reentered, approached Adamaeis, and said, "I see you gave Rex a room. You wouldn't, by any chance, have accommodations for myself, my cook, and my maid?"

Sora frowned as she turned to the girl. She required others to help her live? That was new. "Are you incapable of getting your own food and cleaning up after yourself?" she asked curiously. "If so, I'd advise therapy. Most children know how to do that. Or do you have some sort of mental of physical inability?"

"I am an official court healer. I was given the services of these people as part of my position under the king. With the destruction of the ice castle, they really have no where else to be, so they came with me. Thank you, however, for letting me know how rude and judgmental you are." After her reply, Mary simply smirked at Sora.

"Not a problem," Sora responded, unfazed. "And you are one of the ones from the 'Ice Castle', serving under the 'Ice King'? The being that hunted dragons for fun?" As she spoke, her eyes turned a pale blue, the same colour as her scales in dragon form. "You healed them when they were hurt?"

"I was just hired, so I hadn't actually done anything for him yet. Also, I was entirely unaware of what he had done. It still hasn't been made clear to me exactly what he did. I'm just here, looking for a place to eat and sleep until things are figured out. And treating the wounded is not a crime, no matter what it is they may have done."

If you find that being worth serving - even worshipping - then you have little to look forward to in life. Besides, it is my understanding that he his dead now, and that would put you out of work, correct? And, in fact, treating the wounded can be a crime. If you were told to heal one who had slaughtered your family, would you feel inclined to do so? I'd like an honest answer, not one about pathetic inner feelings." For a moment, Sora's form wavered, and a pale blue dragon reared its head, as though about to attack. The illusion was only there for a single second, though, before it vanished, leaving Sora still waiting for a reply.

I know not what you call 'wrong', but in any case, I consider taking the life of one who has done you no wrong is unjust, and should be dealt with - and those loyal to him."

"Alright, I'll answer your question. While I wouldn't heal someone who killed my family, I certainly wouldn't take my revenge on a healer who tended them. That makes no sense at all. Your statements aren't making sense. Do you want to hold the king's chef accountable, and kill them, too?"
