Her legs crossed as she sat up straight and accepted one of the bowls. "It smells wonderful." She said taking a whiff. She sat and ate with the posture of a princess. Only taking small bites and never slurping. "It's delicious. Thank you Emrick." Alphonse smiled. "I'm sure when this is all over, Mr. Charlie will find us." He scratched her ears. "I don't know what I'll do yet. Maybe rebuild my home." He sighed. "A lot of things will need fixing after this is over."
Angela was about to yell at whoever opened her office door, thinking it was Doudou again. "What do you want?" She asked harshly and then looked up. "Oh, Mr. Walrus. What do you need?" She said more politely. "We have reports that there have been odd screaming from the dungeon. Also, the prisoners food is ready. Would you like me to take it?" Angela sighed. "No, I'll take it." She pushed herself up and stepped out from behind her desk. She took the tray with a bowl of soup on it from the walrus man. "Thank you." She said as he left her office. She followed him out and locked her door. She walked slowly down to the dungeon steps where she took those even slower.
Being careful not to spill the contents of the bowl. Her white heeled boots clicked against the harsh cement. She was stopped dead in her tracks just one cell away from where Mad March was when she heard muttering of some sort. Then she heard her name. That voice. It was just her mind playing tricks on her. She had nearly dropped the tray so she tightened her grip as she continued forward after a moment. She stood infront of his cell and yanked the door open. She stepped in just a few steps and set the tray down. Someone else could feed him. Cause they surely weren't going to set his arms free. She turned on her heel to walk out. Erik rubbed the back of his head. "N-now don't go thinking I'm a nice guy, ya hear. Cause I ain't." He said as he adjusted his hat. "I'm just a sucker for a pretty girl in a wet dress." He said turning his back on her. "Anyways, now, were you given anything when you got here? Perhaps by the cat? Or the big guy with blonde hair?"

"No, I don't think-" She stopped when she felt something in her pocket. May reached in and pulled out a ruby ring, a golden chain running through it. "I don't remember getting this..." She glazed down at the piece of jewelry curiously. "How strange. Maybe that Chesi girl slipped it in my pocket when I wasn't looking." May held it up so Erik could see it. "Do you recognize it?" She asked. Emrick watched Elle as she elegantly ate her soup. He couldn't help but let a chuckle out. "Elle, you don't have to be so proper around me. Just relax, ok?" He told her, then taking a few spoonfuls of his own soup. "No one is here to judge you." "That's true." Chesi nodded. "Oo! I could help you! I can fly to the roofs to fix them, so you wouldn't need a ladder! And teleport here and there when you needed a certain tool." She began to babble on about all the things she could do to help him. Chesi wanted to stay by his side when it was all over. as she talked, she was stopped by a loud grumbling noise. She blushed, embarrassed. It was her stomach telling her that she needed to eat. Aslan's head snapped up when he heard his food tray clatter on the ground. His gaze was met by Angela's back, walking out of his cell. She was tense, so she had to have heard him mumbling her name. How mad at him was she, he wondered. He could only remember bits and pieces of the things he had done as Mad March, and that that he did remember wasn't pleasant at all. "Angela!" He called out, "Wait! I need to talk to you." He still had a firm grip of control, but he could feel Mad March already trying to come back out. "Please, before March takes control again. I want to talk to you as myself." Aslan pleaded with her.

She didn't really notice she was acting any different than he was. Though, she had always acted proper around the casino, so that was all she knew how to act. "Ah, sorry." She took another spoonful of soup and instead of just placing it in her mouth, she slurped the substance from the spoon. She couldn't help but giggle softly as doing so tickled her lips. Alphonse smiled and rest his chin in his hand as he watched Chesi babble on. She was so adoreable, he couldn't help but stare. She would get quite animated when she talked sometimes that he found it amusing. Hearing her stomach, he laughed. "I think it's about time we feed that beast, don't you?" He asked as he stood.
Angela was just reaching for the door when she stopped in her tracks. Her eyes widening slightly as she stared straight ahead. Was it....was it really him? Was it really Aslan? She couldn't resist the temptation and she turned around and stared at him. His bright green eyes stared back at her. "Aslan..." Her voice just above a whisper. She took a step forward and then another until she was standing almost within reach to touch him.
She stared down at him for a moment, checking ever physical feature she could to see if it really was Aslan before her now or if it was Mad MArch playing one of his dirty tricks. "Aslan...am I really talking to you?" She knelt down onto the balls of her feet to be level with the man chained to the wall. Erik gazed at the ring as if enchanted. "That, my dear. Is the most precious thing in all of wonderland." He smirked. "That, is the Stone of Wonderland." He reached out and let the ring settle in his palm, but did not take it from her. After a moment, he moved his hand and the ring went back to dangling. "We have to keep that completely safe. Put it around your neck." When she hesitated he repeated, "Well put it around your neck, go on. If you lose that, you lose any chance of gettin' back home." He pointed at the ring. "No matta wat, you give that ring to no one. No one ya hear."

May looked at the ring, surprised. This small red gem was the most precious thing in Wonderland? How so? She was a bit confused, so it took her moment before she complied with Eric and put the ring on the chain around her neck. She tucked the necklace under her shirt. "Get me back home? So it is that important. But why give it to me?" She stopped and chuckled. "Sorry. I've been bombarding you will all these questions since I got here." She stood up and walked to an old wall that was torn and decaying. "I'm just so confused about this all. Why I was brought here. Why I'm being protected by complete strangers. What this whole thing has to do with my mom and brother's disappearance." The big slurp came, and Emrick found himself laughing. "You didn't have to go that far, but you got the idea." He smiled. "You know, I don't think I've really enjoyed myself here in such a long time. With all this stuff going on and everyone being busy planning and everything. But with you here..." His smile turned soft and sweet, "It's going to be a bit nicer." Chesi blushed and looked away. "I'm not that much of a beast, am I?" She looked upset. But after a few seconds, her frown turned upside down. "Just joking. I know what you mean. Time for dinner!" She hopped up and went to the door, waiting for Alphonse. "You should eat too, Alphonsu." "Yes." He looked her in the eyes, just so she knew it was him, then looked down. He was ashamed of himself. What he had become. "I don't know for how long though." He waited till she decided to stay then proceeded. "What have I done while I've been in that dark hole? What have I done as Mad March?" He couldn't remember everything. He just knew he did horrible things. "Please know that wasn't me. It was him. All him. I wanted nothing to do with this.... evil thing inside me."

It was a rare occurrence and she rather enjoyed it.Elle continued to eat in a normal manner and was rather content at the moment. She looked over at Emrick as he spoke. She rarely heard him talk about himself. She knew he kept to himself most of the time and he had always seemed rather lonely to her. When she had been in plannings with Angela, she had seen him around but had never officially met him and of course he had never seen her until Angela finally introduced them. It had happened back at the casino when he was sent to gather intel from someone on the inside. Not expecting it to be the princess herself, he had actually cornered her with his sword. It took a bit of convincing and conformation from Angela for him to believe it.
A small smile formed on her lips as she saw him smile. She was glad she could be the one to help fill his lonely existence that he seemed to have here. "I'm glad I could help you in some way." Alphonse nodded. "I am coming. Don't worry about me. I'll eat the kitchen bare at this point." He laughed.
Angela had a small seed of doubt in her mind that she couldn't shake. Was she really talking to her Aslan? Surely Mad March would not give up control so easily. Her eyes softened just a touch. "I can not begin to speak of the things you've done. I'm afraid they would just drive you deeper into madness." She stared at him. Her bright blue eyes scanned ever inch of his face. His eyes were that deep green that she had come to love so much. But for how much longer would they stay that way? She couldn't keep the water from her eyes. But she did not let them fall. She had never gotten the chance to tell Aslan that she loved him and she didn't want to tell him until she freed him from Mad March's hold.
She suddenly leaned in close and hugged him around the neck. Whispering gently in his ear. "I will save you. Please just hold out till I can." She then released him and stood. She did not want to be here when Mad March returned. Her face was back to the cold, stoic face that a leader in war needed. "Enjoy your meal." She then stepped out of the cell as another member of the resistance entered to feed him. She didn't look back as she climbed the stairs out of the dungeon. She needed to put her weaknesses behind her. She was the leader of The Resistance. And the only way to save Aslan was to get the queen to tell her how to get rid of Mad March. As she made her way back into her office, she called for one of the members walking around. "I want Chesi and Alphonse in here in the morning. Relay that message to them both. In fact, relay that message to Emrich as well. I want all three of them in here first thing tomorrow. Tell them to make sure they are not late." "Yes mam." Angela stepped into her office and sat at her desk. It was time to set The Beginning of the End into motion. Erik watched her get up and go over to the wall. He looked back to down at the fire as she babbled on. "Aren't we all confused about what we're doin? Why we're here? Why does it have to be us?" His gaze stayed on the fire for a moment as he was lost in deep thought. He then snapped back as if out of a trance the flames had created. "Well, life is just one confusing fun ride isn't it?" He said as he looked over at her. "Come back by the fire. You should get some sleep. We'll be in for quite a ride tomorrow."

"Aren't we all confused on what we're doin'?" May glanced back at Erik as he asked those questions burning in all beings. For a few moments, she could see a change in the man she had only known for a few hours. The cocky and jovial hatter was now serious and in deep thought. His eyes glimmered in the fire's light and his hair framed his face just perfectly. She wondered what he could be thinking about. Obviously, life in Wonderland had to be different from like in her world, so what thoughts could this place bring to his mind. Erik brought her out of her own trance as he spoke again, inviting her by the fire. May nodded, hopping he didn't catch her staring at him and took a seat beside the blond, wrapping the jacket that was given to her earlier, the chill from her still lightly damp hair and clothes returning as her mind started to settle. "Hey Hatter," May mumbled, pulling her legs to her chest. "Do you think I'll ever be able to go home?" As much as she had loved her mother's stories of Wonderland and had always wanted to come here, this wasn't what she had in mind. And frankly, she wanted to go home. Here she was lost and confused, cold and hungry. She wished she could just close her eyes and wake up to find herself safe and tucked in warm bed with her cat cuddling up to her on her pillow. Emrick couldn't help but continue to smile. He always was happy when Elle was around, but he also felt like he belonged. Even though he loved his other comrades and they were practically like family to him, he still most of the time felt like he didn't belong in Wonderland, like he was some sort of alien here. As soon as those thoughts entered his head again, he was finding himself expressing that to her. "With you here Elle, I feel like I actually belong." He froze for a moment when he realized what he had said, then sighed. She must have been confused by that statement. Emrick finished his meal, placing the empty dishes on his side table. "I haven't told you this, but I guess I might as well since we've gotten close." He stared at his feet as he continued to talk, "I... I don't think I belong in Wonderland. I'm not even sure if Emrick is my real name." He combed his fingers through his hair, keeping his hand at the top of his head. "You see, before meeting Angela and Chesi, I can't remember a thing. The first thing I do recall is waking up in this room with a splitting headache and Chesi waiting for me to wake." Chesi giggled. "Just save something for me too." She replied, walking her way to the kitchen. It looked like cook had just left, leaving her nightly note for Ches telling her what was in the fridge for her to eat that night. "I looks like there's mushrooms stew and... Oo! Someone caught a tuna! Cook says I can have it!" The Cheshire cat grinned widely, setting the note back down on the counter and went straight to the fridge. Inside was the stew, some other food products, and the tuna, cut into steaks. There was a good amount of fish there and Chesi found her mouth watering. It was a rare treat for her now a days and when she got it, she was one very happy kitty. Ches pulled the plate out and turned on the stove top, lightly searing both sides of the tuna steaks, leaving the middle nice and raw, then drizzling some spiced dressing that Cook used whenever she cooked fish for her. "Hmm." She cooed, taking a big whiff of her plate. So he was right, it was that bad. Aslan gave a weary sigh, looking down at the floor. He could feel the pull of March in his mind again. And as much as he didn't want her to leave, Aslan didn't want her here when he took over. But before he could tell her that, he was swept into her arms, promises of rescuing him from Mad March and the Queen's hold on him whispered into his ear. With her touch, March became suppressed once more. But with that, she left him, his feeder taking her place as his company. As he watched her figure disappear from his cell, one sentence escaped his lips, "I know you will."
