there is one other type of band person. The Trombone section leader, we're worse then the butterflies, we are always making jokes and still everyone in the band loves us including the conductors.

Oraiste` I guess I'm somewhere inbetween average and perfectionist... I practice like crazy and try to be the best that I can be because I enjoy playing my instrument. Although I don't want to be noticed in band so I don't talk, and I never go first when playing my scales. Ever. same here..wow you totally took the words right out of my mouth..

Average fits me perfectly when it comes to flute, but put a flag in my hand and I turn into a butterfly chaser.

Eh... I would say I'm between Perfectionist and average. I'm the best low brass player, but I can't hit any higher than a high F.

I'm basically average.
I usually don't practice sweatdrop But I'm not terrible.
I have a butterfly chaser that sits next to me. He's the most annoying person ever.

I consider myself almost a perfectionist. Why? Because I know almost everything there is to know about music. I'm a role model student according to my director... and everyone else in the band. However, I don't practice like crazy. For some reason, some very weird reason, I'm good at what I do with music without practicing.

I'm perfectionist, partially due to natural talent, partially because that's just who I am. However, I don't know anyone that practices for 16 hours a week. I know I don't. I should practice more than I do though... sweatdrop
