She winces the slightest bit at the pressure applied to her wrist but doesn't struggle, thinking that would be a very bad idea at the moment, given the situation. Once he seemed to realize it was her and calmed, she gives a small smile in response to his grin. "Morning. I made breakfast, if you're hungry. I wasn't sure what you'd want, so I just made whatever came to mind. The eggs used were donated by some birds living in a nest just outside the kitchen in the rafters, in case you get curious about them." She frowns the slightest bit, watching him with some concern. "I'm guessing you had some nightmares while you were sleeping?" She didn't step away, mainly because he still had hold of her wrist.

The man let go of her wrist slowly, he relaxing into the pillow and hammock. "Breakfast...ok..." he slid out of the hammock, he getting his feet under him. "I slept alright...I just do not like being touched when I wake.." He shot her a side long glance that warned her not to press the issue. He was not one to speak of such things and even if he did, it would not sound as bad as it had been for him. "I would rather you fry the birds than the eggs...Their never ending singing is frustrating."

She sighs slightly, giving a nod to show she'd heard the no touching when waking statement and leaving it at that. She flicks her tail slightly at the comment about the birds, following and sitting near her plate. "It would really be against my nature to do harm to the animals themselves without them instigating a physical attack on me first. So, frying the birds is out of the question unless you are the one that does the killing and the frying of them." She says, giving a small shrug. She had problems with killing and harming things not in self-defense. She couldn't really be blamed for wanting to preserve life, could she?

The baddie nodded and moved toward the kitchen. He did not understand this woman, she would not even kill for food? "They would be for food...not wasted...you would not even kill for food? If you were starving?" he looked to all the food she had prepared, he cocking his head to the side as he tried to decide which he would eat.

She shakes her head at that. "Not even for food. I can find ways to live off the land without resorting to killing to eat. That may be a strange way to live, but it's worked for me so far. I will eat what's already been killed by something else, if it comes down to it, but as to actually killing something to eat, no."

Volatile nodded, he could understand her views, she was a female, and a wood witch, it would make sense not to kill. So he took it upon himself that he would be the hunter. "Ok, then I guess I will have to be the monster and bring home food each night. I cannot live on eggs and greens, it will not happen." He smirked and looked at the food. "Smells decent...hope it tastes as good..." He laughed and took his plate of food, sitting down at the old wooden table.

She watches him for a moment, then gives a small nod. "I hope it tastes good to you. If it doesn't, I suppose I can try something else when we get more food in here?"

"I have learned that I do not complain about food. If you recall correctly, it was I that ate from the garbage?" He laughed and took a beat of the food, he sighing and nodding to the flavor. "It tastes fresh, that much is certain, and that is not a bad thing, but...I am not use to things not tasting like garbage.." He sighed.

She gives a small grin at that. "Well, looks like there's a few things we're both going to have to get used to then, hrm? Because as long as I'm able to, I'll keep trying to keep fresh food in stock here. Now, I'm thinking of maybe going out and finding some more cloth to make possible curtains out of for the windows? It'll help keep the draft out of the ones that are broken."

Volatile smirked. "Yes, yes there are many things we will have to grow use to, if we are to truly get along well here." He took another bite of the food, he still startled at the freshness of it. He could not even recall a memory of such a fresh meal. "We could just board up the windows and keep the light out as well...though...I know you like fresh air..." He hung his head. He was more than content to lock himself away in a box and stay there.

She thinks for a moment, then shrugs slightly. "Boarding the windows up might be easier, but we'd still have to find boards that weren't rotted, and nails and something to hammer with. I'd be fine with either option, to be honest."

The male laughed and nodded lightly. "This house is for you first and foremost, whatever you want most is what will be done. I am just as content living in the back alley as I am here." He smirked and finished his plate, setting it aside. "This home...is your home...Freeziyana...make it look like your wildest dreams." He laughed.

She chuckles slightly at that, then tilts her head at him, finishing off her own plate. "You live here as well, though, so we both will decide what it looks like. You forget that I am used to living in a tree. I want this to be as fair for you as you are saying it is for me, Volatile."

The baddie cocked his head to the side. "I do not understand why it is humorous...that I want the best for you.." He watched her closely. "Though I suppose...since I had not been the kindest.." He rolled his eyes. "We will find a happy medium, we will board the windows with space between them and put curtains over them." He nodded.

She blinks for a moment, thinking, then shrugs slightly. "I suppose I'm just not used to anyone wanting to care for me except for myself." She thinks again, then gives a small nod. "I suppose that will work, since the boards will help keep the light out and the curtains will help to keep the heat in when it gets cold."
