Avery's eyes widened slightly as she turned away, "I... I'm not very hungry." Her tone and posture changing from open and kind to slightly defensive and tense.

Avery regarded him quietly before shrugging and smiling lightly, "It's okay Athero. I'm just not that hungry."

"alright Avery..." he felt hurt now but nodded as he took another bite "did you atleast enjoy the day?..." he asked noticing it was becoming dark already

He was still hurt "yes let's go" he said standing and holding his hand for her he did love her tho they only just met but he was saddened that she did not seem to trust him

Avery frowned and took his hand as he helped her up. He seemed a bit bothered that she wouldn't tell him what was wrong with her. But... she'd rather not worry him. She couldn't do that to him, burden him in such a way...

Avery watched him move, listening to his words to her quietly before lowering her gaze sadly as she holds her hand, lifting her other hand to grab the same hand that held hers before whispering softly, "I... I'm pregnant Athero..."
