Axel's eyes shifted upwards, having found Tehuti's face finally. Mostly he was reacting to his name. For a second Axel's ears weren't back like he was angry, but one ear suddenly perked up. This gave Axel a kind of curious look, not to sure about the situation. He continued to chew his food until he was finished. "Thanks, it's not a very common name." He said while scratching his arm. "I haven't really meet that many cat humanoids, but I have met a lot of other cats. They didn't seem so thrilled." Axel said his voice wavering for a second. He didn't really know how to feel about Tehuti, he was a bit odd. "Yeah, i'm from around here. It would be stranger if i wasn't, I mean someone has to be from this planet....heh." Axel said giving a small laugh at the end of his sentence. He ate some more of his fish. He thought for a second, seeming to having some strange thought. "You know for some reason your name is familiar to me...." Axel couldn't quite place where, but he felt like he had read it some where. "I feel like i read something or someone talked about." Axel's tail swished behind him, in annoyance.
Graves smiled and shrugged. "It kind of is. But it's to be expected when you aren't around for a few years." He liked Tenshi, he seemed like his kind of guy. Graves happily shoved another piece of charred chicken in his mouth, by now he was getting full. So he gently pushed what was left of the chicken away from him. Although he kept the fries close by, he maybe full but not to full to eat fries.

" I am much the opposite, on my travels I rarely met anything other than animals and humans. I did run into someone similar to me though, except she seemed to be of a reptilian nature. Of course since I arrived here things have been different." Tehuti continued after Axel mentioned meeting other cats, but as for knowing Tehuti from before, he couldn't be sure... It was entirely possible after all, but it wasn't something he really wanted to know... " Well, if anything comes back to your memories I will be happy to hear you out... If not, then it is of no concern Mr Axel, haha!" He finished. X{♪} Mariya had more or less finished eating by now, spooning what ever scrapes of honey she could out of the tiny bowl it had came in. " As much as this is griping conversation, I should be going. Training before day starts is important. Would anyone like to join? training is always better with partner." She said casually with her spoon sticking out the corner of her mouth. It made her accent thicker, but there was till honey on it, and she'd be damned if it was going to waste! ((Meh, short posts... But I have to get back into these characters. I'm still in serial killer mode from another PR I'm in elsewhere xD))

Tenshi swallowed his other forkful of food as he listened to Graves' answer, watching the zombie guy shrug a bit with a smile, saying that it kinda was a bad thing, but it was to be expected when one wasn't around for a few years. " Oi yeah? Then per'aps I shoul' do a lil' more sleepin', eh?" he asked, a smirk on his face as he thought about sleeping until he woke up in the future or something. " I don' suppose dat if'n yous got all dese fancy whatchamacallits n' wotnot, may'aps ya go' sum kinda time travelin' thin'," the wolf samurai added with a chuckle, thinking that such a possibility was preposterous by all means, but then again, that WAS how he and Tiamek ended up at Mitomi from feudal-era Japan, maybe... As he polished off the last of his food, he watched with a sort of odd fascination at Graves eating the charred pieces of food, before pushing it away, his attention focused more on the zombie than on most of the other company present. His ear perked up to attention as Mariya, who seemed to have finished with her food, was asking if anyone wanted to come and join her in training, since it was always better with a partner. " Hehe, den I suppose ya won' min' me taggin' along, eh? Th' good ol' swords need sum practice every now n' den to keep 'em sharp n' wotnot, y'know?" he volunteered, unsure if Tehuti or anyone else would also come to join them. " B'sides, we jes' migh' run into a certain crazy witch in th' near future, methinks..." Tenshi added in a more serious tone, glancing towards Tiamek as if to hint to her that she knew who he was talking about.Tiamek quietly ate the rest of her sushi while she listened to Axel and Tehuti talk with one another, the Bastet saying that he had not met many cat humanoid creatures, moreso just cats, even though they didn't seem to be very nice company, while Tehuti said he was the opposite, even though he'd met someone like him, though she was more reptile than mammal. Upon finishing the sushi, she concentrated on her mint tea, occasionally glancing over to Tenshi, who was making conversation with the zombie man, Graves, and Mariya, who was dutifully eating her honeyed nectar as if it was a bowl of rice. Her gaze slid back over to the two cat people at the table, her ears perked in interest as Axel brought up that Tehuti's name seemed familiar, as in he'd heard it or read it from somewhere. Well, they both were of Egyptian origins, yes? It is possible they may have known each other at some point, but, there was a chance they might have not, she wasn't entirely sure, but she kept silent otherwise. Tehuti replied that he would be happy to hear if Axel got any recollection of that, and if not, then that was alright too. Mariya then brought up the subject of going to train, to which Tenshi was quick to volunteer first. " I suppose that would be good then, if you don't mind getting yourself all cut up," she said in a lightly teasing tone, flashing her eyes at him a moment. However, as he mentioned the possibility of running into a certain 'crazy witch' in the near future, Tiamek caught his gaze, and nodded solemnly in return, though she was hoping such a thing would not happen too soon. She did not voice on whether or not she would join Mariya and Tenshi to go training just yet, she wanted to see if anyone else was joining them, even though she knew she usually stayed around Tenshi almost all the time anyways. Graves smirked at Tenshi, understanding that feeling a strangeness of being out of place. "Nah, that makes it harder to understand everything all over again." Graves said aware of what would most likely the future would hold. He of course might see it before others, but it hard to say. Graves smiled over to Mariya, wondering if he should join in. "I would love to, but i think Raven must be looking for me by now. I've been gone most of the night." Graves was always the dutiful brother, but he had to be when your sister is frightened by most things.
Axel shook his head in understanding, it was strange how different they seemed to encounter other people and creatures. It didn't help Axel liked to stay in cities and the like when ever he could. "if i figure it out, you'll be the first the know." Axel paled slightly at Mariya's offer of fighting. He almost had died and wasn't quite ready to fight or spar for a little while. Tenshi mention the 'witch' also didn't help. "i think i'll just take it easy, I'm not quite ready to do that." Axel said his tail twitching slightly. He was also tired from everything and not feeling that social after it all.

X{♪} Time to rock & roll!! Sweeping her blue tinted hair off her face, Mariya smirked playfully when Tenshi offered to spar. She had no idea of his skills though, but that just made things interesting... " Not at all comrade, but it wont be easy work out mind you. I am sure you can manage though... Probably, hahaha!" She laughed mockingly, trying to rile up her partner even before they had begone. Mariya's eyes flashed with competition, almost dangerously, at the prospect of blowing off steam against an opponent instead of targets. It really had been a while since she had a chance to 'spar' with anyone other than Chaz or Tehuti. " Well then, we shall go! wasting time standing here." she shouted cheerily and half jogged towards the doors. Trying to contain her excitement and energy was sort of failing as the adrenaline levels in her blood began to rise, it took all her will power not to explode into fits or laughter and shouting, leaving her with a beaming grin under her sharp, dagger like, eyes. She meant business, and she was going to enjoy it. Tehuti sighed lightly as his friend bounced towards the exit. She was like a lit firework, there were sparks but no bang... yet... " All I can say is, that I wish you luck Mr Tenshi. Please, do not hold back against her, it is unlikely she will be as courteous to you." Tehuti's tone of voice almost made his words sound like a warning, but the smile, well if you could call it a smile, on his face said otherwise. A part of him wanted to go along and watch, but that would just end up with him being dragged into things, probably... No it was definitely a bad idea, he had already been for a morning run anyway when he caught breakfast, and wasting any more energy would go against Tehuti's cat like nature. " However... I do believe with Tenshi leaving, Miss Tiamek would be left without a companion? Would it be rude of myself to offer some company miss?" He said pleasantly, he almost bowed for some reason, but decided against it. He was only offering to hang out for a while after all, not become a bodyguard or anything, not that there was much of a chance of her being attacked anyway, well... There might be, Tehuti was none the wiser about her circumstances... But generally people didn't do that sort of thing much in this day and age, well in his experience anyway.

Tenshi couldn't help but chuckle a little as Graves smirked at him, saying that sleeping for such a long time would only make it harder to understand everything all over again. As if the wolf samurai didn't have enough trouble with understand everything as is, he certainly wouldn't want to add to that, that's for sure! When Mariya asked about going to train, Graves said he'd love to, but he believed there was someone, by the name of 'Raven', who must be looking for him now, since he'd been gone most of the night. Axel added in that he would just take it easy, since he wasn't quite ready for sparring yet. The wolf samurai shrugged, as if to say 'Suit yourselves', though with the Bastet, it was understandable, especially after their encounter with that crazy ghost girl in the forest earlier... she was still creepy as all hell, he had to say... Mariya smirked at Tenshi's offer to spar, saying that it wouldn't be easy to work out, though she was sure that he could manage, probably, giving a sort of laugh. The wolf samurai was quite stoked to spar with her, he had no idea of what she was able to do, but that would make it all the more interesting, yes? She then shouted that they should get going, since they were wasting sparring time by just standing around here, and made a beeline right for the exit of the dining hall. Tenshi was about to sprint after her, when Tehuti spoke up, saying that he wished him luck, and not to hold back against Mariya, since it was unlikely she would be as courteous to him. He simply grinned, and nodded, " Duly noted, dis's gonna be fun, I kin feel it!" he said, before turning and running off after the blue-haired girl. It felt a little strange, not so much him going to spar with a new friend, but more so that he was leaving Tiamek in the company with others he had only recently gotten to know, after she'd followed after him for so long. Well, she was capable of protecting herself if trouble ever found her, which sounded unlikely at this point of him, not to mention that she would hopefully have some of the others to keep her company, but still... He could only hope his worries about her wouldn't hinder his fighting abilities when he was training with Mariya.Tiamek organized her dishes together as the others conversed, having decided she would stay back this time instead of going with Tenshi and Mariya to spar. Graves and Axel turned down the offer as well, the zombie boy saying that someone was probably looking for him, while the Bastet seemed to have had enough fighting for the night, and that he just wanted to wind down and take it easy for now. The kitsune's eyes strayed down to Axel's chest, which was still slightly caked with blood from the wound she'd healed, and grimaced a little at the thought of it. Mariya seemed excited that Tenshi had offered to spar with her, and was quick to head for the exit, her training companion holding back a little as Tehuti warned him not to hold back against the blue-haired girl. Tiamek was slightly amused at Mariya's... enthusiasm, about sparring, and hoped Tenshi wouldn't try to do anything rash or stupid, even though she somewhat doubted he would be that cautious. Though, the kitsune somewhat found the blue-haired girl's personality and etiquette, or perhaps lack of, rather strange, as well as her choice of clothing, she wondered to herself if all the girls around here were like that, even though she wasn't one to stereotype from person to person. Besides, Tiamek figured she herself shouldn't be one to judge others because they were different, since she was from a time and place where courtesy and chivalry were daily rituals to be followed quite strictly, she felt rather... out of place here, whereas Mariya seemed to fit in quite perfectly with the times. She watched as Tenshi then took off after the blue-haired girl, a sort of saddened look on her face, she couldn't remember the last time she and him had been apart from each other, and hoped that he could take care of himself. He was very capable by himself, not to mention he had the company of Mariya with him, she was sure he'd be safe enough, then again, with him, there was nearly no definition of 'safe'. Her fox ears flicked about as Tehuti spoke up, saying that with Tenshi leaving, Tiamek herself would be left without a companion, and asked her if it would be rude of him to offer her some company. The kitsune felt her cheeks flush red again at being called 'Miss Tiamek', as she turned to face the cat monster man with a soft smile on her lips. " Not at all, I'd be very much delighted to indulge in some further company with you, Tehuti~" she answered him politely, nodding her head to him to confirm her answer. To be quite honest, she had developed a deep fascination with the new company they had met so far, namely Axel and Tehuti, though that was mostly owed to her fascination with cats, as well as Egyptian myths and legends, she certainly wouldn't have met them back in feudal Japan. Her eyes shifted over momentarily to Graves, smiling to him a little, having found him to be rather good company as well, even if she had been a little tentative of him at first, though she figured he would be leaving too to go find this 'Raven' of his, perhaps a sibling or a pet... she wasn't too sure, but he most likely wouldn't want them to be too worried about him. Dilemma " Ah excellent. I was a little worried I would be left to my own devices after everyone was finished. Although... I still cannot think of anything to fill the time with... Is there perhaps something you have on your mind?" Tehuti respond casually at his accepted invitation. Sure they could hang out, but doing what... there was of course activities to do around both the campus and the town near by, but would any of them interest Tiamek? And even if they did, would he himself be able to take part in them. He had once tried to play games down at the arcade, it didn't go well, Tehuti's paws were ill shaped for the buttons and light guns. And as for the driving games, the seats were just too small, and the cars felt too unresponsive for any real competition. He could RUN faster than some of them!

Grave was glad to have had the company during breakfast this morning. It wasn't a normal occurrence, but since he joined Mitomi it's the norm. He was glad to have meet so many people so far. They all seemed so lively, even Tiamek and Axel, who didn't seem to talk that much. Mariya seemed very excited that Tenshi had except her offer. "Have fun you too!" Graves yelled after the two, but it seemed they had already left. He could only smile after them be fore returning to the others. "well it's been nice talking, Tehuti, I believe it's Excel and Tiamex....." He stopped for a second with a very stern face at both of them for a second. A lop-sided grin came to his face. "I got that wrong didn't i? Man, i bad with names sometimes....." He said with small laugh and stood up shaking his head. He was laughing at himself more than anything.
Axel waved bye to Tenshi and Mariya as they left. He was glad he didn't want to go. That ghost really did do a number on him. The running while severely injured didn't help either. Axel's pale green eyes searched around not looking at anything in particular. Of course hearing Graves messing up his name, Axel's tail puffed out a bit and his eyes narrowed on him. "It's AX...el..." He hissed slightly, he wasn't angry at Graves, just a little annoyed. "Your closer with her's....it's Mek not mex." He added huffly.
Grave cringed slightly at the hiss. "Terribly sorry.....Axel. You mind kind of goes when you have no pulse. Also i guess one strange name a day is my limit." Graves scratched his head as a impossibly low frequency caught his attention. "speaking of tengu...." Graves said to himself. Apparently Tengu had warning calls in case they got into trouble and it seemed Raven was trying to get him to come home. He only learned it by listening to Ray do the screech at close range. For some reason it seemed to work better now that he was dead. "Oh...sorry it's seems Raven is trying to get me home. I guess until we meet again." He bowed while rolling his right hand lazily, before he jumped over the divider and into the other the booth. Taking whatever he thought should be thrown away, but his crisp chicken which he left on the table. Graves headed towards the door.
Axel shoved the last of the fish in his mouth when he heard something. he couldn't see for about ten seconds, but magically his 'sight' seemed to come back when Graves mentioned being called. 'geeze...if that how they call remind me not to be on their contacts....' Axel thought as he blinked a few times. There was a slight movement from his case which seemed to unlatch and open slightly. Nothing seemed to move out of it other than a papyrus scroll falling out. Axel had yet to notice, because he was waving good bye to Graves. He was a strange man, jumping over the division between booths rather then just walking out normally. And that bow was quite the way to exit. Axel was kind of lost in his own thoughts, even with Tiamek blushing and Tehuti wanting to accompany her for the time being.

Tiamek smiled, listening as Tehuti seemed pleased that she'd accepted his invitation for accompaniment, saying he was a little worried he would be by himself after everyone else had finished. The only problem now was, what to do during that time? Sure they could hang out and talk here at the dining hall, but she was quite full from the sushi she'd eaten, and it was perhaps a bit more entertaining to stay and talk here while enjoying good food. As he asked if she had anything on her mind as far as where to go, she thought for a moment, pondering the activities that were possible around the school. While she pondered on what to do, her attention was momentarily brought back to Graves as he yelled after the departed Mariya and Tenshi to have fun, before looking to the rest of the remaining company. He told them it was nice talking to them, Tiamek's ears flicked about as she heard 'Excel' and 'Tiamex', the zombie apparently having gotten their names wrong slightly. The kitsune didn't seem to mind that much though, giving a slightly amused grin, but Axel was rather annoyed, as he hissed at Graves, correcting their names in a huffing tone of voice. Cringing a bit at the Bastet's hiss, Grave apologized, saying something about one strange name a day was his limit, before saying that it seemed 'Raven' was trying to get him home, before saying good bye, bowing to them while rolling his hand, then jumping over into another booth, taking everything except for his rather charred looking piece of chicken, and headed for the door. " Fare thee well, sir Graves~!!" Tiamek called after him as she waved to him, smiling a moment, before she turned her attention back to Tehuti. " Perhaps there is a place around here to just, maybe, relax? Last night was particularly rough for us in the forest..." she started to say, her voice trailing off a little as a deep pink blush tinted her face, realizing what she had just said. " Erm, not that we were doing 'that', just got into a bit of trouble was all.... but yes, somewhere to wind down and chat in peace would be exquisite," the kitsune then continued after quickly correcting herself, her ears flicking slightly as she thought she heard a slight rustling noise, like paper, from close by her. " Would you perhaps care to join us to a nice relaxing spot, Axel?" Tiamek asked, her eyes looking over to the Bastet as she addressed his name, since he was the only remaining company at the table now besides herself and Tehuti, though she wasn't sure if he had also been fixing to leave as well or not. But, she figured it was only fair to extend the company invitation to him if he had nowhere else to be at the moment. Her eyes drifted down a moment, catching sight of what might have caused the rustling noise she'd heard moments ago, there was a loose scroll on the ground, having opened slightly from the impact it had made when it had landed. Curious, she bent down, gently picking it up and studying it carefully for a moment, before holding it up for Tehuti and Axel to see, " I believe someone dropped this?" she asked, thinking it maybe belonged to either one of them, whomever claimed it was theirs first, of course.

Adventures? If relaxation was the mood, then Tehuti usually headed out towards the courtyard for fresh air. But considering they had just came from there, and the fact that it was one of the busier areas of the school, put it lower on his list this time. " Hmmm...." He said in thought, his voice rumbling a bit as it hit some lower notes. " I suppose, outside would be good... However, I am guessing neither you not Tenshi know the layout of the campus yet? In which case I suggest the roofs of the dorm building. It is a location with height that gives wide views of the surrounding area." Tehuti mused thinking over the different locations in his head. The roofs were a good place to start, plenty to see and lots of fresh air and sun too. It had been a while since he had ventured up to the roofs...

Graves kind of laughed while walking out the door. Tiamek and Tenshi seemed like a good couple. Tehuti was defiantly a sweet man even though he looks as though he could rip you in half without having to lift a finger. Graves wasn't sure how to feel about Axel, but he didn't really talk to him either.
Axel could help but almost laugh when Tiamek freaked out about how she phrased her sentence. That would have been...wait why was he thinking that? Had he been in human form, Axel would be blushing madly. Axel's tail flicked a little as he looked Tiamek. "if you two don't mind me tagging along, that sounds like fun." Axel said, not wanting to intrude. In truth, if they were to go somewhere calm he might fall asleep. But he didn't think anyone might blame him.
Axel hadn't noticed the rustle or Tiamek pick up the papyrus. The Papyrus seemed to have nothing on it other than a small Egyptian cat in the left corner of the page. When Axel came out of his thoughts he cocked his head before he realized what she held. They were strange scripts that keep appearing for some reason. Being blind he never knew if they said anything. Axel thought they might be instructions or letters from mom? He didn't know what they were for, just that they liked to show up at random moments. "sorry that's mine, must of fallen out of my case." Axel said holding out his hand to get the papyrus scroll back. Axel looked over towards Tehuti as he spoke of the roof of the dorm. Sounded like a good place to Axel, but he wanted to see what Tiamek said.

Tiamek's ears flicked as she caught a little bit of Graves laughing, just as he disappeared through the huge doors of the dining hall. Looking to Axel, she thought she saw him get this rather odd look on his face when she had momentarily freaked out at what she had said, perhaps he found it amusing? Not that she didn't see any humor in it, she was just curious, this was a different time period, so, maybe social interactions had changed too? Then again, it was probably just her mind making idle assumptions, as it sometimes was wont to do. The Bastet then looked to her, saying that if they didn't mind him tagging along, it sounded like fun, to which the kitsune gave a smile, " But of course, you're more than welcome to accompany us~" When she had picked up the scroll and unfurled it slightly, she noticed it didn't seem to have anything on it, save for a small image of an Egyptian styled cat in the left corner of the page, strange... It took Axel a moment to register that she was holding the scroll, and said it was his, and that it must've fallen out of his case. Tiamek didn't question about the single cat symbol on the page, smiling and handing it back to him as he reached for the piece of parchment. Her eyes drifted back over to Tehuti as he gave a sort of rumbling noise while he thought, no doubt trying to figure out a good spot where they could go to relax and just enjoy each other's company for a while. The cat monster man then spoke, saying that he supposed outside would be good instead of just being confined to the dining hall, though he guess neither she nor Tenshi knew the layout of the campus yet. To this, Tiamek nodded slowly, knowing it was true, listening as he suggested going to the roof of the dorm building, a location with height that gave a good view of the surrounding area. " It sounds lovely, similar to how I would always go up to the castle's highest balcony, and be able to see over the expanses of gardens we had~ The roof it is then~" she answered, nodding to confirm her agreement with Tehuti's suggestion. With that, she started to rise from her seat, checking to make sure she had all of her bearings, before she smiled to Tehuti, " We should be leaving here then, yes? Please, lead the way, if you will, Tehuti, since you seem to know how to navigate well around here~" she said to him politely, gently pulling out Axel's chair and taking his hand to help him up from his seat.

Simply nodding to Axel's request to join, Tehuti stood up from the table to ready himself for the walk. He smoothed down some patches of fur that had moved from sitting on the chairs, sretched out his legs from the cramped position they had been in to squeeze under the table, and rolled his neck to undo any knots in his shoulders. Now standing at his full height next to his two seated companions. The height differenct was a bit rediculous... " Castle? that sounds delightful! Yes yes, this school has quite the view from the tops. It is decided then, roofwards. Shall we go?" Tehuti mentioned as he moved a little towards the doors. ((exiiiit~ To the dorm roofs :3 ))
