I was intrigued and looked into it, but I had to laugh at what Dawkins said in the end that "you can't make complex, efficient, working objects like eyes or wings in a single step." As you can see here, he attempts to measure God in human terms with a limited brain capacity and limited knowledge, basically humanizing God. God is God, a divine being that is omnipotent. We're just mere humans. Some things are impossible for us. Quote: with God, everything is possible. So yes, if it's God that brings all these amazing creatures to existence in a single step, then it's completely reasonable. And to my dismay, Dawkins didn't even explain how such deadly chemicals did not destroy the beetle while it "evolved." Everything was created at exact precision and perfection for it to function properly. We Christians bring up a point, and we're curious. Aquatic_Blue Also, there are plenty of animals and bugs that defy evolution so I never saw it as logical or even possible. If God didn't make the animals then how is it that all these animals are alive? Giraffe's have to stand a certain way to drink and their body accommodates for the blood flow. The bombardier beetle has a mix of chemicals it shoots out of it's body and the spray becomes hot and can kill other bugs. If that bug would've gotten rid of it the first time, how would it know to mix those chemicals right and shoot it out of it's body in such a way that it doesn't burn itself? When religious folk advertise they're trying to get people to come to church. When atheists advertise they're trying to troll religious folk.
Which of these would you take more seriously? It speaks volumes to why people don't like atheists in general, including myself.
