Starting to run at Dr. Shimeera again Vivi tripped as the living cards grabbed onto her foot. Ignoring the worried look on their faces Vivi felt the heat of the dragon against her. Scrambling to their feet the cards tried putting out the fire once again through the strain of the acid. Getting back on her feet Vivi shook off some acid.

Because he was so up close to the doctor Helios took a major blow from the fire. His yin-yang shield was able to protect the parts of his body that matter.

Alex in a fit of rage sliced Shimeera's tail clean off. He would no longer be smacked around by it. He laughed at the doctor for a bit before getting backhanded by him.

Starting to charge again Vivi fell back as Dr. Shimeera flapped his wing. Flying from the gust Vivi was knocked into the ground. Though she still wanted to fight her body couldn’t as it slipped into unconsciousness. Her living cards surrounded her lightly shaking her body.

Alex cursed silently as he got hit by a full blast of the dragon fire. Flesh was burned away and incinerated. It was quite likely that without additional materials that Alex wouldn't make a full recovery giving the amount of resources the nanites in his body had already used up. Thankfully his wrist computer remained intact storing a perfect duplicate of his mind. Just in the likely event of brain damage.

Still shaking Vivi some cards glanced around looking worried as they did so. Others being pushed to their limits collapsed as they joined Vivi's knocked out body along the ground.

He may have had the advantage, but Dr. Shimeera was still an elderly man. The mutated doctor had overexerted himself. He surrounded himself within a ring of flames to try and put up some semblance of defense.
