I've flown a million miles just to find a magic seed
A white flower with the power to bring life to me

Melina Nadine Larkspur  Lina saw the flames disappear almost immediately after she had revealed the news to his mom. At best, she shocked him, at the worst, she upset him. Oh. Noting that glare coming from Ryul, it was safe for Lina to guess that he was upset. But, hadn't he stated earlier that the proper term for it was 'boyfriend and girlfriend'. She took that as they were going to go public with their relationship. It only made sense that their parents would know, should know.
Lina immediately opened her mouth to respond to Mrs. Samison's next statement. The woman seemed to think they'd been dating a lot longer than they actually had. "Oh, no. Mrs. Samison....we only just started dating..." She explained, seeing as Ryul didn't finish his statement. "As in...within the past hour..." She added. Wow, she mentally wondered how many others already thought that they had been dating. Lina brought a hand up to her face. Yup, her cheeks were hot, so she was definitely blushing. Great.
Ryul definitely looked uncomfortable about the whole scene. Lina set the pot down on her workbench and walked over to him. He had his face in his hands. Tentatively, Lina reached up and pulled his hands away from his face, holding on to each of them gently. "I'm sorry if you didn't want me to say anything...but, I thought you said we were going to be 'boyfriend and girlfriend' as it is so called. It's only right that our parents know..." She trailed off, giving him an apologetic look.
She really hoped he'd cheer up. Lina hated it when she got him upset, or anything of the like. She never really meant to. Sure, they'd joke around sometimes and argue for fun, but she never deliberately tried to upset him. Always on the brink of a heart attack

❝Shadow Flame❞  ◢Яyul Șamison◤ "Well, I think I'll leave you two alone. Don't do anything too crazy," she said. She grabbed the pot that Lina had put down and walked to the door. She slipped out and was gone. Ryul turned his gaze from the spot she had disappeared to Lina. "I understand that, but we just decided this not ten minutes ago. Don't you think it could have waited for a while before we told anyone? Even you seem to have a hard time wrapping your head around it. Why not wait until we're both used to it before telling anyone?" he asked. He was doing the best he could to keep his temper in check. It wouldn't do him any good to start yelling at her now. What's done is done. He couldn't go back in time and change it. He sighed and thought about the last words his mother had said before leaving. He tried to fight a groan and failed. She was just trying to embarrass him now. Well, she succeeded.

Jack laughed and nodded, "Yeah, I mean it. Although, that crying trick sure was a dirty move." Jack got up, and got his bag.
"If we are gonna leave, at least let me pack my stuff up first." Jack said with a chuckle.
He went to his room, and started to pack some cloths. This might be the last time I come back here... I wonder what will happen to this place when I'm gone... Jack thought with a sad tone. Since I was 17, I've had this place... It isn't mine, yet it feels like home. I'll make sure the landlord will get his share, and alittle bonus, for all these years. Jack sighed, and finished packing his bag, and went to the living room. "Just one last thing to get Mit. Wanna help me out with it? It's something that I've been working on for the past 5 years, but it's not quite done."

 Emiko Kei Emiko looked around. She began walking down toward the main path when she noticed someone familiar. It was Mrs. Șamison, and she was carrying what seemed to be...a pot? How strange. Emiko smiled internally.
She continued walking toward the path, then began walking toward
Mrs. Șamison, heading for the direction Ryul's mother was coming from. Funny, she seems to be in a rush, but also seems very pleased with herself. Emiko couldn't help but laugh out loud.
When they were both in hearing range of eachother, Emiko spoke first. "Why are you in such a hurry Mrs. Șamison?" She asked, truly curious to know the reason. A friendly smile was placed on Emiko's face.
She rarely ever spoke to anyone unless she knew them, and she knew this person so she felt comfortable speaking with her.

Melina Nadine Larkspur Lina blushed at Mrs. Samison's words. She watched the woman leave with her plant, and didn't know what to say. After a moment or so, she kind of blurted a farewell out. "Hope to see you soon!" She called out after Ryul's mother. Not too long after his mom left, he called her attention back to him. Lina bit her lip. Gah.
"Ryul...That's kinda what I tried to ask you earlier..." She began to explain. It was true. Now, she was looked at as the bad guy, in a small sense. They just had a misunderstanding. "I asked 'what are we now'. You responded with Boyfriend and girlfriend. I had definately thought about asking if you wanted to keep things quiet...but I guess I got distracted..." She said, thinking back. Yes, she had meant to ask that...but he had kissed her.
"Matter of fact, I can say that it was you that distracted me...." Lina trailed off with a smirk. She reached up and kissed him briefly on the lips. She hoped that she hadn't made him too frustrated earlier. "You, and your lack of a shirt was what distracted me...That, and you kissing me..." She added. It was true though. The sight of him without a shirt on was enough to distract any young female. .
"So, no one else but our parents should know for now? If so, we should probably go catch up with your mom before she spreads the gossip." She added, biting her lip again, a bit nervous. If he didn't want the word getting out yet, they might just have to run after Mrs. Samison and her potted plant. . Always on the brink of a heart attack

Mit scratched the back of her head sheepishly. "Yeah, well... it worked, didn't it?" She smiled as Jack left to pack his things, and plopped down into a chair, her gun falling onto the ground with a loud thud.
I wonder where we're going... she thought as she grabbed a rag and some brass polish off of the table. It was a habit she had developed out of boredom back home... no wonder her gun was always so clean and perfectly shined. She had nothing to do back home, absolutely nothing... that is, except stare at the wall and watch the tree grow through her window, wash her three shirts, tinker around on some random gadgets she finds every once in a while... despite being around technology all her life, Mit proved to be a total failure at inventing new things. She knew how to fix things, that was true, but she couldn't come up with new designs to save her life. There was always something missing... some kind of binding force that could make her little inventions complete. But now... seeing the... thing that Jack had just shown her, she had reason to believe that maybe this strange Kante magic was what she needed...
Mit shook her head and smirked. Please. Magic? For her stuff? Not a chance. Bah! Whatever. Then Jack came back in and asked for her help. Given her previous train of thought, Mit was a little uneasy. "Uh... sure, although I can't guarantee that I'll be a lot of help..."

❝Shadow Flame❞ ◢Яyul Șamison◤ Ryul smirked. "I'll go put a shirt on then shall I?" he teased. Then he sighed. "I thought it was usually the girls who made these kinds of decisions?" he asked. He ran his fingers through his hair. He wasn't sure if they'd be able to grab his mother before she started telling anyone who would listen. "If we're going to catch her, we'd better leave now or she'll start telling everyone who will stop and listen to her," he said with a sigh. Raven looked at the girl who'd spoken to her. "Oh hello Emiko. How are you today?" she asked. "I'm just heading back home. I just asked Melina to help me save this plant, and now I know how to better take care of it," she said with a smile. "Where are you off to?" {{I'm going to use this picture for his mother for now...just without all the jewels and the crown.}}

Melina Nadine Larkspur Lina chuckled at his response. Usually the girl that made those decisions? She shook her head at that. "Ryul, I asked you because you are the least outgoing around others out of the two of us. I wanted you to decide so you'd be comfortable..." She explained with a roll of her eyes, as if it was obvious. Well, it should have been obvious. She didn't want her decision to torment him or make him uneasy.
As far as she was concerned, she was a go with the flow kinda girl. Like a dandelion seed caught in the wind, Lina went where life took her, no qualms. At least for the most part. There were a few things she was resolute on, hard to budge. However, Lina liked to make people smile. Whether it be with her plants, her help, or her decisions, or lack thereof.
Lina, however, couldn't help but laugh at his last statement. She didn't know his mother that well, but from the sounds of it, she was quite a gossip. That, or she was really enthusiastic about Ryul. She leaned up to kiss him on the cheek before letting one of his hands go. From there, she began to drag him out of the greenhouse. Though, she didn't expect him to be reluctant about it.
Personally, she wasn't worried about people seeing her holding hand's with Ryul. It had happened on occasion before, much like the one they were in. Lina dragging him somewhere. It wouldn't be an odd sight to the unaware onlooker. Ah! There was his mom, pot in her hands. Oh, snap! They might be too late, she was talking to Emiko. Not like her talking to the girl was a bad thing, just, she might already have said something.
Lina stopped a moment to speak to Ryul, quietly so only he could hear. "I still have my plant food in my apron pocket. I'll tell your mom I want to add it to ensure the plant's help. I'll take the plant from her and you can explain to her that you don't want anyone else to know...how does that sound?" . Always on the brink of a heart attack

Emiko Kei Emiko noticed that Melina and Ryul weren't far behind. When she saw them together, she knew something was different.
"I'm not going anywhere specific. Just wandering at my will." She said in reply to Mrs. Șamison's question.
Noticing her mood now, Emiko smiled. "You seem, what's the right word to describe this? Ecstatic? Or eager. Let's go with both shall we? You seem excited about something. Is there anything in particular?" She laughed.

Jack gave a small chuckle. "Yeah, I suppose it did work." He said teasingly. "Just don't get too confident that it will work again." He said with another chuckle.
"And it's nothing much. I need some help to carry some stuff back. I'm talking most of my gadgets and inventions with me. I have lots of stuff that could be useful on our... well, for lack of a better term, trip." Jack said. "Follow me Mit, I'll show you where I do most of my work." He walked towards the kitchen, and opened a cabinet. "You ready for something interesting?" Jack said, raising an eyebrow.

They couldn't really just walk up and say 'don't tell anyone' while someone is there listening. The plan was good, other than that one little fact that they had an audience.Raven smiled at Emiko. "Besides it being such a beautiful day, you mean?" she asked. "I just found out some good news," she said.

Emiko Kei Emiko smiled. "And what 'good news' might that be?" She giggled.
She was thrilled that so far, everyone seemed to be in a good mood, not that she had talked with alot of people so far, the day had only just begun. Emiko was also glad that, personally, her day was going extremely well.
She hoped nothing would ruin her good spirit.

Melina Nadine Larkspur Lina rolled her eyes. She thought it had been obvious that she would have to be the one that distracted Emiko. Of course, she was the one that had the plan in her head, so she wasn't upset with Ryul for not knowing. It was her fault, after all. "I'll handle it...comeon..." She said, taking his hand and pulling him along.
"Mrs. Samison, hold on!" She called out to the woman, releasing Ryul's hand. It didn't take Lina long to catch up to her, and Emiko. She took a deep breath before speaking, a bit tired from the almost run over there. "I forgot to do something with your plant." She explained, pulling the little vial of special fertilizer out of her apron pocket.
The next moment, she had been handed the pot, and Lina smiled over at Emiko. "Oh, Sorry to interrupt Emiko. How are you today?" She asked, truly curious. She didn't see the girl that much. It was probably due to her own tendencies to hide out in her greenhouse. However, she believed the girl wasn't that social either.
Regardless, she wouldn't mind talking to her. She was interesting enough. Lina had heard bit's and pieces of the girl's story from others. Being raised and treated as a slave amongst the Steamers, Lina couldn't imagine such a thing. Emiko must be a strong individual for getting through that ordeal. . Always on the brink of a heart attack

"Ummmmm... sure!" Mit replied with a smile. She was always in the mood for something interesting, especially if it had to do with gadgetry... and Jack's inventions. If it got an eyebrow raise out of him, then it had to be good. She swung her hands in front of her as she followed him into the kitchen. She looked around.
"You do most of your work in the... kitchen?" she asked with an amused grin. Of course she was only making a joke, but still... she wondered how her attempt at levity would meet with him. She chuckled for no particualr reason, she just... found it funny that she had made a joke [and that the person RPing her has nothing to write -.-]...

Emiko Kei She simply watched as Melina approached them. After taking the plant from Ryul's mother, pouring something in it, and handing it back, Emiko was surprised when Melina began to speak to her directly. She smiled though. "I am fine. It seems to be a very nice day today." Emiko wasn't very good with keeping up conversations with people she hardly knew, but she always tried her best. "It's probably the perfect day to celebrate, well, anything really." She had a feeling she already knew what the so called 'good news' was, so she decided to mess with Melina a bit.
