Meiko chuckled a bit after hearing Aludra's short story, and said. "Can't wait for swimming and Hogsmeade, guys~"
As she turned to Aludra who was waving at the new student.
Meiko was feeling quite well today, since she knew she had friends like Aludra and Cloud. She also started to wave her hand up to get his attention and said in her usually cheery expression. "Oh, I'm happy that new students keep arriving at Hogwarts. Hello there, new student~"

 Cloud frowned. She had known how to swim as long as she could remember, but she couldn't recall how she had learned. Deciding that she just must have been taught at a very young age, she nodded to her friends and grinned.
That sounds like a great day, Aludra.
Cloud had noticed the new Slytherin boy, but had no interest to speak to him. She was the type to let people come to her, instead of the other way around. Cloud preferred to only be friends with those who truly wanted to know her in the first place.

Aludra Yvette... "I cant wait either, I want to say hello to the Giant Squid. I remember someone telling me he was friendly enough." Aludra smirked a little bit as she got up from her chair to stretch. "Well, I'll be back in a few seconds, I want to talk to the new arrival." She gave her friends a little wave as she walked over to the new Slytherin; he was acting kind of strange for a Slytherin. Hopefully with all the new house members, they would win the house cup this year. Aludra stood in front of him and smiled. "Hello. I couldnt help but notice you walk in the door. Are you new here?" ...7th Year Slytherin

 Harmony Trumarie...
Harmony sighed as she looked at the new boy, he was defintely not a third year. Harmony began to read her Charms book again, still hoping she'd actually be able to practice the cheering charm with someone.

6th year Slytherin Gregory looked up, not expecting anyone to address him so directly. "No," he replied softly, looking down to finish pulling his books from his satchel. "No, I've been here all the time. You probably just never noticed me," he finished with a strange smile which looked like he hadn't finished practising it.
Completely at a loss as for what else to say, Gregory kept his eyes firmly fixed on his textbook and began to flip through it in silence.

Aludra Yvette... "Well, yes that may be true. Your very timid for a Slytherin, very strange too." Aludra shifted in her position in front of him and crossed her arms over her chest. He seemed to be akward. "I'm Aludra, by the way."
After giving him another smile as she unfolded her arms and gave him a friendly wave goodbye. She went back over to her desk where her friends had been huttled. ...7th Year Slytherin

6th year Slytherin Again, another of his house had told him he did not resemble a Slytherin. The Hat had been wrong; he was now sure of it. After all, it was a thousand years old; by now the original enchantments had to have been wearing off, surely? No more than the Wizarding equivalent of a glitch.
He let the girl go in peace back to her desk and opened his notepad, stroking the paper with his quill to make sure the ink he'd magically secreted inside - his own adaptation to the classic after having watched his Muggle-born mother use a ballpoint pen - was flowing free. With barely a moment's pause another Slytherin approached him and introduced himself. It was the boy who had sat near him at dinner; he had ignored him then, in no mood to chat. But here, it was unavoidable.
"Gregory," he replied quietly, "Gregory Haleskarth. Charmed, I'm sure." With a small smile and a polite nod he went back to his notepad and wrote his name and the date on the top of the first unmarked page.

A student nods her head in greeting to the newcomers. "Hi there! I'm Heart of the Ravenclaw House...second year here." She smiles warmly. "Welcome to Hogwarts by the way."

People seem to think only Ravenclaw's have the brains. We're cunning too. Anyway, if you need help with class, let me know." With that, Daemon sat back at his seat.

6th year Slytherin I won't, Gregory thought to himself, smiling instinctively as the other Slytherin offered him help should he need it.
Pulling out his wand he tapped it on the desk and set about practising, once more, the charm he'd invented and been trying to perfect for over a year. Pulling a pair of socks from his bag he focused his full attention on the way back to the Slytherin common room. Out the door, down the stairs, along this corridor, down that one, through the secret passage in the wall...
"Recedio!" He exclaimed loudly, flicking his wand directly upwards and watching as the socks flew hell-for-leather through the open window, never to be seen again. Sighing, he walked over to the window and watched them dive-bomb screaming into the lake, no doubt heading straight for the common room window. At least it works, he thought sadly to himself.

Harmony looked up from her Charms book for a second, seeing the new boy charm some socks out the window. She chuckled softly then stopped as the older boy made a sad expression. Harmony eyed the boy in calm interest...she had seem him before...'Gregory from her Language Class!' her mind supplied.
