The battlefield had shifted between their own two feet as it was now built into many walls and hills of beautiful ice patterns. It would have been breathtaking, if it weren't for the fact that their team had a mission to do. Kuro looked like he could barely stand on his two feet, as he now sway almost rhythmically, the only reason he hadn't reverted back to his fox form was because of his sheer determination of being by Hibiki's side. "Kuro, do me a favor. Hide, and do it well." It sounded demanding, but it was filled to the brim with genuine care. The fox didn't have time to answer, or comprehend the command, as Novvus rushed towards them on what seemed to be a make-shift snowboard. He handed both of them his snack of choice as he surveyed the damage in the limited visibility they had. Hibiki practically forced the bean down his pseudo-twin's mouth as he took in his own. As he began to digest it, his body felt somewhat lighter and a bit more numb, (besides the numbness from the weather). It was like a weak sedative of some sort, he figured, as he noticed Kuro wasn't so out of it, and actually began to register things around him. "It'd be a bit harder than average, but I think I can pick up his scent." Hibiki responded, as Kuro tried to take in everything that is going on. Diving low on all-fours towards the now shiny surface of ice that had been created by the rogue ninja, he closed his eyes and began to track the fishy smell of his squad member. "Stay close Kuro." He barked as he dashed off. It wasn't too long before he had found the shark-like genin, since he was just as close to the collapsed dome as Kuro. "Kyu!" The Mist Genin tried to roar over the blizzard, "We've obviously been ambushed! What are we going to do? Multiple people have been injured from what I can smell, we can't see s**t, they have us surrounded, and we have no plan of action whatsoever!" All of it was true, but what worried Hibiki the most right now is the slightly dazed Kuro behind him, and the fact that the smell of copper in the air began to make him feel invincible. Zeru stared as the field turned to an Ice structure and their opponent disappeared into it, Zeru searched quickly with his eyes without moving his head, but then he was distracted when Takrea came over to him, he had clearly not been as lucky in dodging the attack as Zeru had been, he also had his Sharringan ready as well, Zeru nodded to him and then quickly scanned around the rest of the team noticing who had been hit and who hadn't. He knew well what his job was in this situation and he got ready he would need to be very alert in order to keep his team mates strong and able to fight. Takera slowed his breathing. The rush of unexpectedly being blown away had finally began fading. He took one big breath and then exhaled as his breathing returned to normal. His eyes returned to normal. He activated his Sharingan in haste, but after getting his head on straight he realized he'd done a very negative thing. For a moment he had forgotten that they didn't want others knowing of their bloodline. All he could do now is refrain from using the Sharingan again and hope things just blew over. " We need to move closer to our allies, but we need to be careful. If we get too close we'll foolishly repeat what just happened to us. We've gotta be careful." Aizen looked upon the kids face and saw nothing but blind rage but hoped the kid would come to his senses and know he had already won the battle. I need him to take me to the twins... ”So dude... what do you say.... capture me and take me to the others.... I’m sure you’re reward would be doubled for single handedly capturing me...ugh... make up your mind before this lightning fries my insides...” By now the clones were down as well, as Aizen’s jutsu were wearing off just as quickly as he summoned them. From within his mirrors, Novvus saw Hibiki find Kyu and debrief him on what had happened. He nodded contently, then faced outwards into the raging blizzard where Sai was hovering in his winter wonderland. The dark-skinned boy narrowed his blue eyes as he got into battle mode. That sharingan of his is going to be a major pain... he thought, thinking up a good way to approach the Orasakai Twin. After mulling over an attack in his head, an idea came to his mind. Novvus darted from mirror to mirror until he was close to the other mist genin. Jumping out of the mirror and slowing his descent with airbending, the dark-skinned boy approached them. " Guys, i'm going to see if i can get a fix on him. In this blizzard it's nigh impossible, but we have to know where exactly he is before we can actually come up with any sort of on-the-go strategy." With that said and done, Novvus brought his hands together and weaved a few seals which ended in the modified seal he used to conjure his Ice Mirrors. More of the diamond-shaped sheets of ice sublimated into existence, these moving in a never-ending complex pattern. " Frozen Spyglass." whispered Novvus. The video feed blurred to life as he connected the mirror over his eye with the mirror in the air. Novvus sent it flying in the direction Sai had been, fighting to control it in raging storm. He was right. With all of the snowy whiteness it was too difficult to see anything other than white. The dark-sinned boy frowned and cut the video feed for now. It was pointless to try again until the weather cleared. For now he forced the spyglass to bury itself deep in the snow to avoid detection. Novvus turned back to Kyu and Hibiki, shaking his head. " The blizzard is making things too difficult right now. We're going to have to wait it out. While we wait, do you guys have any ideas for an action plan? We do not know where Sorain and Sennyo are, which makes things harder for us." Novvus walked into the path of one of his shifting mirrors and was absorbed by the ice diamond, entered the hazy blue world again. At the same time, four of his mirror replicas stepped out from other mirrors and began taking defensive posts at four corners of the ice depression, each wearing an ice scouter identical to the original's. Their mirrors were soon replaced with four other replicas which stayed within the confines of the ice. While they kept watch for anything that came inside, Novvus watched the bleak snowbound landscape from the safety of the mirrors. He kept his eyes peeled for any sudden movements that disrupted the tempestuous snowfall. Sai's eyes had been closed as he moved quietly beneath the surface of the ice, his breath rising and falling softly. He had been in this state ever since entering his modified ice mirror world. It wasn't every day he spent so much chakra and he was in need of more to complete the task in hand. Though he didn't exactly like the idea of taking his eyes off of his target, it just made him unease in the midst of battle, it was necessary for what he wanted to do... In the future he would need to focus on training his chakra capacity for such events like this, it was just wasn't befitting to be so unaware of his surroundings. In fact... With a sigh, Sai opened an eye and glanced around as he secretly moved under the group's conference area like a preying shark. Satisfied that all was well, Sai closed his eyes... only to have them both flicker open as he realized all was not well. In fact, the dark skinned boy was taking fleet through the snow storm. The boy was jumping from one mirror to the next, a strange piece of ice over his eye as a disc of just as strange quality zoomed around the blizzard. 'Hn... Surveillance?' The boy was looking for them, at least that secured that the group had lost track of him and his team mates had yet to be found. Sai let out a sigh of relief but when he looked back up the dark skinned boy was not one but many, 's**t... Where's the real one?' Sai let out an exasperated sigh... "Sorain, tell me you was able to follow that lil brat? I lost track of him in his clones." He questioned through his head set as his hand blur through seals, his palm smacking into the glass just below the enemy's group. A moment later a ear breaking cry was uttered into the blizzard and a glorious blue phoenix soared up from the ice and amongst the opposing group before disappearing into the snow blanketed sky. Turning his head down, Sorain through himself into a nose dive from the skies while nuding his chin left and right to scan the area for any sign of the elusive ninja that was just in his sights. "The ******** thinks he can hide from me. We'll see about that." he said before closing his eyes and allowing the wait less feeling of a free fall to over come him. With his eyes closed, the familer darkness overtook his senses allowing him to awaken the true potential of a trained yet blind Shinobi. Sure, his Shairngan provided him with partial sight, but when it came right down to it, an entire life without the gift of sight bared its own rewards. Even through the roaring of his own blizzard Sorain felt as though he could hear even the slightest of sounds and determine there origins as well as there location. Taking a deep breath he allowed himself to concentrait as hard as his body would allow, forcing himself into a state of true balance that made room for his other senses to overwelm his lack of sight. His crimson red eyes flared through the darkness of the night. Sorain was ready to begin this fight, he was ready to back up everything that he had said was going to happen if anyone dared to contest his freedom again, he was prepared to see to it that not everyone of these ******** made it home safely, the time for words was over, now it was time to man up and see just who the big dogs were. It was time to show them just why they were valued in the first place. "Alright bitches! Lets get this s**t started!!" He yelled through the howling winds with no care to giving away his position, he showed no fear. He was ready for a brawl, in fact he was eager for it, he craved it!. Sorain brought his hands to his chest and began to form hand seals, "Lets get it Raze!" From Sorains neck a blue wolf like tattoo sprawled to life in the form of a blue mist that instantly solidified into the form of a chakra infused wolf. Raze, the reencarnation of the very demon that inhabited Sorains body had taken form and was ready for battle. With every snarl waves of chakra flared through the area. Sorain began to chuckle loosely through his clinched teeth, he was exited, he was ready, he wanted to fight! As he finished his series of hand signs he then moved his right hand to his mouth and used it as a type of funnel before leaning his body back and releasing a cloud of frosty air from his lungs that soon turned into a layer of frost that sprinkled down all around him and his targets. Upon contact, the frost would seep into the skin and mix with their blood stream, causing deep hallucinations as well as force the brain into a panic state from extrem cold. Sorain was in no mood to hold back, he was ready and willing to kill. Shaking his head quickly to resist some of the urges for battle Sorain quickly turned and ran as fast as he could out of the center of the battle field where he had landed. Flipping on his head set he began speaking, "Did you see my mark? It was exactly where that last gust of wind threw up. Im pretty sure I was standing right on top of him, just layer the area and you should hit something." He spoke as he glided around the battle area. Making use of his brothers natural turf setting that was the Frozen Playground, Sorain felt right at home. Flexing the muscles in his legs, Sorain thrust himself froward over the ice as it ramped above his head, causing him for just a moment to be moved at great speeds upside down before leaping off and landing himself on an adjacent piece of ice that his body instantly fused with. Slowly, his body slide deep inside the ice where his brother was currently in hiding. The two were using there clans ability together giving them some what of a safe haven away from the fight to regroup. Sorain slide himself through the portal like ice shards until he could find the area where his brother was, entering the same mirror as his brother, Sorain peered outward to try and see if his attack was taking hold. Kaji let out a feral growl as he sensed Kurosai's consciousness fade away. The metallic scent of blood filled his nose as his vision turned red. The chakra field around him flared up pushing the blizzard and the snow away from him in a dome. The feral boy took step after deliberate step towards the braided wolf. He placed his hands on the neck of his companion and felt no pulse. The ground beneath him suddenly shattered and white powder was flung into the air. He slowly walked towards the helpless Aburame and grabbed him by the throat. Kaji lifted Aizen up as he tightened his grip on the man's windpipe. The feral boy's claws dug into the Aburame's neck and warm blood trickled down over Kaji's hand. "Why should I show you mercy? You killed my best friend!" The wolf boy roared as he slammed his fist into Aizens stomach. He threw the Aburame into the ground with a choke slam and raised his hand above his head. The cloud's above began to darken, and a bolt of lightning parted the snow storm leaving a cylinder of clear sky behind it. The thunder echoed through the icy landscape as the wind and snow retook the clear air. The ground around the Aburame was scorched beyond recognition as Kaji prepared to strike the traitor down with all of his mighty fury. Kyu looked around at the remains of the igloo. Things were shifting and changing. Ice flowed like water and collided in midair. Streams formed into icy pillars and waves that forged an entirely new battleground on the frozen plains. The shark boy kept his eyes peeled for the enemy, but so far, he had barely caught a glimpse of them. However, a quick look at his clothes pointed out something to him, Damnit, I'm going to stand out like a sore thumb in all this blue ice. I gotta change that now that I have a chance. Kyu ripped open the front of his thick black longsleeve shirt and tossed it to the side. His bare blueish skin was lightly bound by bandages around his lower stomach and shoulder. Over most of his chest was a greyish vest; his Kevlar armor. Kyuzaku suddenly felt the cold nipping on his skin that came from such bitter cold. I'd rather be cold and stealthy than warm and dead. Kyuzaku heard a yell from not far away. It was Hibiki. Like usual, he gave a pretty short summary of everything that Kyu already knew. However, he was right: They didn't have a plan thanks to Novvus's hurried attempt to come up with an ambush. At the same time, these walls were a huge issue. No doubt the boys could use them some way. Whether they use it as a source of ammo for attacks, or defense to hide... They've got a definite advantage. I'm not sure if they're using Kekkai Genkai, but if I had to guess, I'd have to assume that they're of the Mizu Clan. Using the ability to shift through ice in these conditions would be an amazing strategy. No, I take that back. That is exactly what they're doing. And with this many ice walls, they can appear anywhere at any time.Kyu saw some movement through the wisps of the blizzard. As it turned out, Novvus wasn't far in front of him, and Hibiki was to the side. Over the gusts of wind, Kyuzaku heard Novvus call to him and Hibiki. Apparently he couldn't get any sight of the twins in all the snow, and was looking for a plan to follow. Kyu roared over the wailing winds, "The first thing we need to do is pull these ninja out of hiding! They're hidden in the ice somewhere. If we can pull that off then we can strike." Kyu clenched his fists and looked around, "Come on... They've got to show up somewhere..." Wind rushed at Kyu's face and ears, and it was still difficult to hear, but there was no missing the cry of a bird below. Kyuzaku jumped backwards as a bright blue bird flew up from the ice and into the sky. It circled overhead, than vanished into the thick clouds, "A summon? From beneath us?" Kyu's eyes darted to his feet. Even below them was ice. "Heads up bros, we're standing on ice too. They can literally be anywhere around us. Keep that in mind, and keep your eyes peeled." The shark ninja suddenly felt an extra touch of cold. The uniform snowflakes were suddenly doubled by whisps of tiny ice crystals. The frost collected on Kyu's skin and melted, making him wince slightly. However, things suddenly got worse. The miniscule water droplets chilled him to the bone in this harsh weather, and it didn't take long for Kyu to feel as though his blood had turned to ice, "Hey... Uhh... Why is it suddenly so..." Kyu instinctively wrapped his arms around his chest, "Damnit.. Why is it so cold?" Kyu started to breathe quickly and heavily, while holding himself tight. He closed his eyes, and tried his best to keep any sort of warmth with him. Worst of all, he felt really weak, It's just a bit of snow!
