Ty grinned when she pushed him, and he wrapped an arm around her waist. "Yeah, I do. Let's go." he said with a smile, waiting for her to lead the way. He didn't mind this being married thing. It was kinda nice.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey opened the door to lead them outside. The hotel was actually not too long of a walk from the beach. She enjoyed walking with Tyler's arm around her. Her brain was still trying to yell at her that it wasn't right. However, she ignored it, letting her heart kind of take over for once. Screw logic.
She thought as they walked. Maybe Mace should start living her life like Marvin had. Actually living instead of working, you know? Sure, she'd finish up what little school she had left, but she'd have fun along the way.
"So...what do you think about the predicament we landed ourselves in?" She asked, looking up at him briefly.
They had made it to the beach by then. Mace looked over the horizon. It was really pretty, seeing the Pacific stretched out like that. Blue waters for as far as the eye could see. Don't be a baby

Tyler stared out to sea for a while, thinking about it. What did he think?
"Well, I don't mind it. I mean, I kinda do like you." he said with a smile. "I think this won't be that bad, to be honest." he added.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey smiled a little. The sand had definatley already made it's way into her flip flops. Sure, there was a slight chilly breeze, but that's what she had a hoodie on for. "I guess we'll just have to go along and see. You never know what the future holds, right?" She stated, for it was true. They woudl have never thought the whole Marvin thing would have happened.
"For the record, I like you too...I just have to convice my brain that what we did wasn't completely stupid..." She said with a small laugh. He should understand that. She normally followed the logic of her brain, and going against it was horribly difficult at the moment. But, she felt it was something that needed to be done. Don't be a baby

"It wasn't that stupid." Ty said with a laugh, smiling at her. "I mean yeah, it kinda was, but we've done stupider things." he teased with a warm smile. He kissed her gently on the cheek. "But we can do this." he said.
[I wonder...will Macey get pregnant from that thing they did? Might add more drama.]

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey raised an eyebrow and looked up at him. "We've done stupider? Like what?" She said, nothing her brain could come up with could compete. She was honestly interested in what he would come up with.
"We can..." She trailed off in agreement. However, her brain still wanted to protest. You could never be too sure, but still, things could end either way. Mace just didn't want to jinx it at all. Don't be a baby

"Remember that one time, we greased up the skis on Marv's sled to see how fast we could go, and we chose me to go down the hill because I was lighter?" Ty pointed out with a laugh. that had been fun. And stupid, when he crashed into a tree at the bottom.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey thought back a moment. Yes, she did remember that. She laughed a bit at the memory. "How many stitches did you get?" She asked for a reminder. Mace had freaked, she ended up running down to the sled to check on him, and on the way she ended up twisting her ankle. Determined as she was, she hobbled the rest of the way down after picking herself up out of the snow.
However, not too long after she arrived at the crashed sled, their dad's had gotten down there. Mace remembered that her dad had picked her up, not wanting her to walk any more after seeing her fall face first in the snow, and then limping down the hill. "Yes, that was stupid...but not the same kind of stupid..if that makes any sense..." There her brain was again. Don't be a baby

"Stitches?I need a cast after that." Tyler said with a laugh. He smiled at the memory of her charging down that hill to help him. He smiled warmly at her. "I don't get it, but if you say so." he said softly, smiling.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey nodded. Yeah, stitches went to Marvin the year before the sled incident. He had slipped on some ice and whacked his head. Marvin liked to gross Mace out by showing the stitches to her. "All I got was an ankle brace." She added.
"It's my brain's logic. That stupidity was due to being a child and is acceptable. This stupidity, us getting drunk beyond memory and getting married, that was unacceptable...But I'm trying to ignore that nagging voice up in here..." She said, tapping her head. Yeah, Mace knew she was odd, but she didn't care. . Don't be a baby

Mace knew that he probably wouldn't realize what she was talking about. So, she'd elaborate. "I can't reach up and kiss you on the cheek...Gah, curse you genetics...I got the midget genes..." She said with a laugh. She did dislike her height. Sure, heels could help, but they weren't comfortable. Don't be a baby

Tyler grinned mischievously, an idea coming to his head. "Here." he said. He turned and wrapped his arms around her waist, and leaned back, picking her up off the ground so that now she was even with him. He smiled and kissed the tip of her nose.

Scarlet Macey Blaire Macey yelped a bit as she was suddenly lifted off the ground. She hadn't been expecting that. Mace made sure her arms were locked around his neck. She didn't want to fall. When she was kissed on the nose, she did blush.
"Agh! Put me down!" She said with a laugh. She really didn't mind that she had been picked up. It was nice, and she knew she was safe in his arms. "Don't make me go all dead weight on you..." Everyone knew dead weight was harder to carry. All Mace had to do was let her muscles relax completely. Don't be a baby
