Oh. So that was what distracted Christof.
Johan drew even with the group just in time to receive Christof's salute, and watch him approach the extremely scantily-clad succubus to offer his scarf. In return, the undead received a damp present, and a kiss which seemed to put him out of commission, judging by how red the hunchback turned.
Trying not to stare at the succubus himself, Johan pointedly turned away from her, and approached the ghouls he'd met on the train. However, the sight of a friendly, joyful looking tree approaching the violin boil from the train (there he was!).
"Vhat is that? Are those vhat ve are fighting?" he asked, incredulously. Though looking around revealed a number of similar tree bodies littering the floor.

"I'm sorry!" Amrita cried out again, sounding like the child whose body she was trapped in. Being scolded by Lizzy was just as upsetting as being scolded by a parent, and the little Vetala flushed darkly, holding onto the Demoness' hand to right herself. In good time too, as the Hunchback lurched to his feet to go talk to the very, VERY pretty Demoness.
She looked between Christof, Sin, and Lizzy; Lizzy seemed to know what was going on, but it didn't hit her at all. "What is?" Amrita questioned, moving to follow after Lizzy and the tugging the Demoness was doing on her hand. She trusted that her friend would prevent her from walking into things, as she was busy staring at the ground to not trip over her reversed feet.
"They're drunken trees, I guess." She murmured to Johan's question, her tone as distracted sounding as she really was.

[@Static all the way back at the beginning - I am sorry I went to bed D: thank you for the kind gesture though, Sarias needs a friend!!
Sarias hadn't intentionally meant to ignore the ghost dog; usually she did it on purpose, but not this time. She was swept up in the happenings of the last few minutes. Trees...walking, talking, fighting and...drunk? Wow, what she heard about the holidays was true, it was the season to let your hair down and get absolutely pancaked... maybe she could steal whatever these trees had been sipping?
Watching the patchwork get a kiss for the seductive demon Sarias sniffed down her nose. "What a tramp"she muttered as she looked Sin up and down. Play fighting with a tree half naked? Yeah, that was the way to win a battle. Watching as the others took on the menacing braches one by one she prepared herself for when it would happen to her. Oh please let it happen to her . All of a sudden she felt the need to scratch her nails on something...

As morning came Jamais unzipped her tent and sat inside looking out, before she started digging in her own pack for something to nibble on. She'd wait for Basil to wake before starting again. It was at least the polite thing to do and safer.
Her tail flicked as she found a snack cake pack. Pulling out one to nibble on and stuffing the other for safe keeping. At least she'd kept her other pack near by before the train crashed. She sighed as she curled her wings up behind her, it was freezing and she wasn't about to sit in the snow.
When she finished however, she wiggled her way out of the tent and packed it back up walking around the area of the camp. It couldn't be THAT dangerous could it? Even with drunk trees.

It seemed much of his group was starting to pitch their tent after their battles. It had been a hectic day, he would give them that, but he wasn't one to sleep very often. Nap in sunshine where just reasons to be lazy. Because really, a nap on a warm afternoon was perhaps the best thing he could think of. He didn't actually need all that much sleep though. Obviously the excitement had taken the ghost girl's attention, he didn't hold it against her, but he looked to her when she finally muttered something. His large ears weren't just for show. "I think she's just friendly. Use what ya' got an all that."
He got back on all fours from sitting on his haunches, shaking a bit of snow out of his coat. "I can still carry that bag for ya', but I'm movin' on ahead." He just wanted out of the forest as soon as possible. Faster they made their raid, the faster they got back to the academy, and the faster he could crawl into bed and sleep off his aches from the crash. Perhaps they'd run into something that wasn't an intoxicated tree. Anything was possible, right?

Gabrian watched the tree he'd just battled fall over, limp, either dead or asleep. After a brief moment, the large serpent slithered forward, grabbed his reward and stashed it, and the Sack of joy back into the bag he'd been dragging. That done, he arched up and took a quick look at himself, noticing that he was miraculously unharmed after that fight, which was more than he could say for some of his group companions.
Once he realized he'd been lucky enough to come out of the fray without a single scratch, the serpent smirked down at the tree. Then, he took a peek around, and he was sure (or rather, hoped) the others weren't paying attention to him, slipped his tongue out, sticking it out at the fallen tree before sniffing loudly with his nose in the air, "Serves you right," he hissed and then slithered away.
He was with Winston on this one; he really didn't want to stop moving. He wanted to get out of the damned forest as soon as demonly possible, "I think you're right," he hissed as he began to slither by the dog, taking a pause to narrow his eyes at the trees that loomed around them.

Sarias pondered the hounds offering, her arms were getting tired, she may posses a mighty pair of lungs but her limbs were no match for something that nearly weighed half of her. "There is using what you have and then there is showing off dog." She waited a few moments as if she felt calling the beast what it was a tad too offensive....nah, it was what it was. "At least you are a gentleman about it, if you are willing then please, i will have more chance of protecting your back and mine...mainly mine, if i had my hands free to do such" Letting the tent run through her hands back onto the floor Sarias made sure her wreath was strapped up with a chain and pick-up pills were safely tucked down her corset top. "Two can play at using their assets for good...now..i feel your right. We have not seen battle yet, we may as well make ground if we are to reach our goal. I am with you for now."

The she-wolf took a step back in surprise as she watched the gryphon change forms. Wow. He was a little bigger than she was. Well, most things were bigger than she was in this form. Except for Kilo it seemed. The little red wolf sat in the snow and glanced between all of them before looking down at...
"Whatcha wearin?" Her eyes flashed with amusement as she looked at the lights tangled around the cat as well as the really big (on him at least) cape. A giggle, of course. "So you are a dead-cat-thing." The she-wolf pawed at the cape once and looked up at the two other boils. Looked like she and the kitty cat were the smallest here.
Ears perked up as yet another happy tree took on a student. What was with these trees anyways? And...oh Jack! She knew what that tingling feeling she felt meant. Another shift was coming soon. This was going to get annoying. She looked down at Kilo and then up at Vaith and Ren and out towards the other students.
Not wanting to impose herself on them, the she-wolf decided to try out some of those manners she had learned. "Mind if I stick around with you guys?"

"Christof has a little crush on Sin, I believe," She nodded at Amrita as she spoke in a soft voice, not sure if it was meant to be a secret. Then again, he did get a kiss from her, so maybe not? She paused, wondering if her friend was into romance at all; judging from her reaction, however, that doesn't seem to be the case... Then again, Amrita is adorable the way she is! When the time comes, maybe she might even have to chase off unworthy boils off Amrita with a Skittles!
Lizzy made sure to walk at a rather leisurely pace, realizing that the snow was giving the Undead ghoul a hard time; she herself was finding it troublesome, after all.
She turned to Johan and nodded at Amrita's reply before adding, "Drunken trees, as well as trees full of JOY." She shivered at the thought of being attacked by one, "Be ready for them! They seem to attack when you least expect them to..."
She then turned her head to look at where Christof's tent was, wondering if they really should leave him behind, since he was injured and everything... Then again, Sin and company were with him, so he should be well taken care of, right? Right. Right now, their priority is to make out of these woods alive, and rejoin Livi and the rest at the end!

"Name's Winston. Not dog." Dog made him sound like a pet or companion, much like the breed native to Halloween seemed to be. He was anything but a pet. When she handed over the tent he folded it haphazardly with his front paws, eventually getting it into his own bag when he removed the bell. He'd have to carry that it seemed. His own pilled were tucked at the bottom of his back, he was sure he could dig them out, should he honestly need them. The tennis ball he'd brought along had been lost to the train crash, and had he lips, he probably would have been frowning at the reminder.
"Alright, onward," he started up again, padding along beside the serpent. It seemed he would be along with his tiny group as well. "I didn't catch your names," he hinted. Perhaps they would catch his meaning. It was rather rude to travel with people without at least knowing what names to call out should he need to. 'Snake boy, look out for that tree' didn't really sound polite at all.

Sin felt pretty battered but she knew stopping wasn't the answer, and neither was whining. She huddled in Christof's scarf and rubbed her arms relaxing when she saw Alcie was alright. She was pretty bruised up but Alcie had scratches on her arms. She turned and looked at Junko and nodded softly.
"Yeah the trees are attacking so we need to keep moving...away from them." Towards? Who knew what new dangers, but away from the trees at least. She glanced at Alcie and nodded softly. "Yeah I'll be fine."
She jumped startled when Gabrian was suddenly accosted by another friendly tree, but he handled it pretty quickly. It seemed her large drunken fir had been the most persistent of the bunch. She watched Danny dig down and eyed him again in speculation. Maybe they wouldn't have to walk the whole way...hmm.
Sin glanced at Sarias for a moment and her eyes narrowed slightly, she wasn't sure if she had caught that correctly. Still survival was slightly more important to her then picking a fight at the moment. She looked back at Alcie and Junko trying to figure out if they were willing to forge on. "Lets go?" She turned to continue, she didn't want to spend another second in this festive forest with these joyfull trees. She would return Christof's scarf when he caught up, she had no doubt he'd manage even with a busted leg...undead were persistent that way.

Sarias smiled to herself, she liked those with a backbone, especially those that stood up to her. "Winston huh? Well Winston I am Sarias, Sarias Blacksling, although formalities aside you may call me Sai." [OOC - pronounced Sa-eye] Following him she realised that a group was forming around them, the Serpent that moved through the snow leaving trails in its wake and others she had yet to be introduced to. "If we get a move on we should break free of the forest soon enough, as long as we don't have any more un-welcomed guests." At this a slight nod was aimed at Sin, detectable only if the Demon was watching, her eyes like slits as she grimaced. "A wonderful thing being a ghost, the chill, it doesn't seem to make me want to undress like the others...silly things, do they not realise they can catch their deaths out here?"

Alcie was relieved to see that Gabrian had defeated the tree with no problem and then turned her attention to Junko and Sin. "Yeah I'm alright Junko. Just some minor scratches here and there..." Frowning slightly, Alcie hoped that they wouldn't turn into scars. That would make her mother very upset... Though she really wouldn't care too much. Battle scars were the best. "Yeah we need to keep going. I don't want to stay in this forest for any longer and just wait for the trees to come for us."
Oh yeah. Alcie had been carrying the small present under her arm and she had seen Sin give hers away to Christof. Kind of in the holiday spirit, Alcie walked alongside Sin and handed her the present. "Here Sin. Take this." Smiling, Alcie wasn't good at giving gifts and she sounded kind of awkward but how else were you supposed to give someone a present?
Glancing at Gabrian, she knew that he was probably miserable considering he's a snake and even she was having difficulty moving through the snow. Though he was a rather large snake... Alcie would give it a shot. "Gabrian, do you want a ride? I can try to carry you." Tilting her head at him as she asked the question, Alcie wondered if he was miserable enough to actually agree to that.

Sweet Jack was that ghost trying to provoke her? She was wasn't she? Sin had to take a deep breath and turn away, she couldn't waste her time on some jealous ghoul. Instead she focused on her friends and smiled when Alcie said she was alright. She softly touched the other demons arm and looked at the scratches. "We can put some lotion or something on it when we get back to the dorms." Except who knew when they would get back, they had tents and meager supplies which sort of painted a picture of a long hard battle ahead. Still she wasn't about to say that and dampen everyones spirits.
Then Alcie produced a present and handed it to her, this one wasn't all covered in sap and tinsel bits. She smiled and gave Alcie a soft hug "Thanks Alcie, you're the best." She paused to place the present with the tent and pack it all onto her back. Then she rolled her shoulders and glanced out at the snowy forest ahead, it looked like a long walk.
She turned when she saw Gabrian in the snow and nodded at Alcie's suggestion. "He's pretty big, but maybe if we work together...Gabrian you can sort of...squeeze on right?" She looked at Alcie. "If we draped him over both our shoulders it might be easier, we just have to walk a bit more in unison."
