While Aya spoke, Hayato noticed that she was fiddling with the strap of her bag. He wasn't sure whether it was nerve, or just something random that she did. He kept it in his mind, but in the back of his mind as she spoke. She made another judgement from what he'd said, which ended up not being one hunderd percent true either. He was about to make his reply but she wasn't finished which was alright. She made a statement and slight question on about his living situation and then after a minor pause, started to explain about herself. He continued to keep eye contact as he now had time to respond to her questions and statements. "Well, I'm also a genin but only graduated yesterday. With that said, I have very little experience. Anyways... I've yet been assigned to a team, and with the noticed lack of Jonin and Chunin shinobi, I may not get one any time soon. But besides that, I'm 16 and I don't have a favorate color.... the statement about not liking green isn't true ether. Honestly, I have no disposition on colors... I use them to my advantage any way I can. Lastly, about living out of the town... it's all I can remember. Before both my parents went on a multi-country mission, they got permission to move out of the village to raise me. They knew I was going to be a shinobi I guess....." Hayato paused for a second and then looked past Aya just to think about some small details then re-focused back on Aya herself. "Well.... that's all I can think of. I'm afraid that I don't talk all that much.... anything else you wanna know or that you wanna tell me?"

Hayato paused for a moment and had a slightly puzzled look on his face. Did his ears deseave him or did he truely over analyze the statement. He sighed a moment and realized that his first impression had slightly gone south. Not much he could do about it now though so he thought he'd clear things up and then answer her question. "You didn't? I guess my ears are making a fool of me because I thought I heard you say that..." He paused again and thought about this person who has gone missing and pondered on it. Before he answered though he caught a glimps of her eyes. They were big, wide, and really soft as if they were like just born puppies. "Well.... I.... um..... " He paused again and started to think to himself Wow.... first time anything like this has happened.... "I guess..... Sure, I'll do a few missions with you." Hayato smiled and pulled out a cloth from his back pocket. "So, what are the misison details?"

Hayato sighed as he knew that Aya's whole act; with the getting closer, holding his hand, and the puppy dog eyes was just to get him to accept the mission with her. She really didn't need to do that in order to get him to accept the mission with her, but he figured that he'd keep that information to himself. She seemed quiet pleased with the answer he gave, then started to explain the mission in very basic details. Aya handed him a scroll in which he opened it and quickly read through it since there wasn't much details. The only real details were; who owned the cat, what the cat looked like, and where the cat normal could be found. Hayato re-rolled the scroll up and handed it back to Aya. "Hm.... so not much details. A small to medium flat black cat with a ribbon in it's tail.... where do you wanna start looking? I was thinking we should start where there is the most food and work our way outwards from there."

It seemed that Aya's happyness and bubblyness just wouldn't stop, not that it was a bad thing but he still was pondering on it. He didn't ponder too much though as he knew that there were other things he needed to concentrate on like the mission at hand. The main part of this mission would be to find the cat, beause they had absolutely no idea where it was. Aya did how ever make a good point, Cats were territorial so that should narrow the search area a bit. The only thing that could pose a problem though was when they caught up to the cat, it seemed that the other people who've tried to catch this cat found it fine but the cat was so skittish that it fleed every time someone got even remotely close to it. Hayato nodded at Aya in agreement and looked around very slightly. "That sounds like a good idea. Um... I'll follow your lead until we get to the general area then we can get a sence of the cats territory.

Hayato followed Aya as they went off to the general area in which Neko-chan stayed in. It seemed that Aya kept her bubblyness going as she spoke about his reaction to her plan. This kept him thinking about why she was so bubbly. Was it just a cover until she got into a difficult situation or was she just always bubbly no matter what. He hoped it wasn't the later since the could very well be annoying when he was serious and she was all giddy. It put it behind him for now as they kept walking. "Really? waiting long or not that long? As for fun, hopefully. I know I could use some fun for a change." They walked a bit more but soon stopped and she spoke some more. She was asking for his oppinion about where they should start. Most of the options were logical but there were really only two that seemed the best as of right now. "Well, I think our best bet would be to talk to the owner and the shop keepers. Wether we split up or stick together is a toss up. Splitting up saves time, but sticking together shows more professionalism in my mind. If we were to go with my opinion. it'd be sticking together, and starting with the owner, then the local shop keepers for information. Asking random people is a hit or miss, at least with the owner or shop keepers, they would know better then the general population. Again though, just my thought." Hayato stated as he waited for Aya's responce.

Mission "Runaway Cat" - 52

As Aya spoke, Hayato nodded as she listened and acknowledged his input and actually used it. The only thing he would have done differently was probably the coin flip, but that's because he doesn't like to leave anything up to chance. He watched as Aya brought the coin from her kimono sleeve and tossed it up in the air. Again, he didn't like leaving anything to chance but he was going to respect her way of doing things. As the coin fell, he looked at the ground and scratched his right ankle with his left foot then looked back up when he was done. It looked like they were going to be talking to the shop keepers in which didn't bother him. Once Aya put the coin back away, she suggested two shops to interveiw first; The vegetable shop, or the butcher shop. They were both close by but he knew that cats were more prone to eat meat then their veggies so the butcher shop seemed like the best of the two to talk to. "Well, felines are mainly meat eaters so I could see Neko-chan going after the scraps from the butchers shop." Hayato stated as he started to head for the front door of the butchers shop. He figured that the cat was probably going to be a thorn in the side of the shop owner if it came here regularly, but then again the owner could be a true cat lover. He went over to the door and opened it, but before he went in himself, he waited and held the door open and waited for Aya to go though.

As soon as Aya entered the butchers shop, Hayato slithered in right after her. He waited closer to the door since if the cat desided to make an appearence in the front streets. Hayato looked at the persons Aya was looking at and he noticed a serious difference in who was standing behind the counter and both himself and Aya. The butcher behind the counter was huge, almost seven feet tall to that fact, but also looked 300 pounds plus. He was holding a large cleaver and also a huge chunk of meat, what looked like a shoulder from something. He slammed the shoulder down onto the counter and skillfully slammed the cleaver into the shoulder as it removed the meat from the bone. The butcher glarded over Aya and Hayato as he released both the cleaver and shoulder while placing both hands on the counter. He shook his head and looked over his giant shoulder. "Issy!, you've got guests!" he shouted as he grabbed the cleaver and shoulder and moved over to another part of the counter while still having away at the meat. From the back came this very slender and small female. She had very long red hair and looked quiet young. She bowed slightly and looked at the two genin infront of her. "Looking for a cat?" She stated softly. Hayato looked outside again and and nodded to her when he brought his head back around. She smiled and waved them over. "Meet me around back.... it's feeding time in about an hour, there will be over fifteen cats like normal." She stated as she went back into the rear part of the building. Hayato looked over at Aya and shrugged his shoulders and opened the door part way. Well, what is the plan Aya? do we go out there and wait or go elsewere until that time? Hayato asked as he finished opening the door for Aya thinking that they would be exiting the building.
