Watching Draven and Eracs, listening to them as well. Alerick was busy idly petting the wishing crystal in his lap. His green eyes taking in everyone on the train. Trying to collect his thoughts and hear as many people as he could.
It was the gnome which brought him out of his daze and he stared at the Draven. "It seems were in a lot of trouble now...." His gaze then turned to Eracs. "Somehow I don't think this is very good." A certain amount of panic drove itself through him, like a spear. This didn't look or feel very good at all.
"Do you think anyone knows what happened to the adults or what's going on....?" He questioned looking from Eracs to Draven with nervous green eyes. He didn't like this very much. It made him forget about the idea of being a social butterfly or reading, his book was put back into his duffel bag.
"Oh and ummm, Draven, I'm Alerick. It's really nice to meet you." A sudden amount of energy and excitement found it's way into his voice, and onto his facial features. "I have a feeling were all going to be really close during and after whatever this is."

The hunchback seemed rather preoccupied with the hands of the undead ghoul next to him. The ghoul didn't seem very comfortable with his attentions, considering how quickly her hands recoiled when the hunchback let go. For some reason, the hunchback seemed to want to saw her hands off and reattach them in a more orthodox fashion. Why he didn't just say so, instead of miming the deed was beyond Johan. Could he not talk? Hard to tell for certain with that scarf wrapped so conveniently around his face.
"That decision should be left to her. Though I think she vould not appreciate it. After all, her hands seem to vork just fine." he stated, taking a seat opposite the two. It seemed prudent to keep an eye on the overeager would be surgeon.
However, it turned out that spontaneous limb re-arranging would be least of the car's troubles. The loud arrival and following death of the gnome captain effectively redirected the attention of all the students. Johan rose from his seat to venture closer to the body, and verify that, yes, that was a captain's badge on the over-sized hat.
"Vhere did he come from? Ze front or ze back of ze train?" he asked loudly, rattled nerves causing his accent to thicken.

Basil was surprised and in big-eyed shock when the gnome came in half dead and...was the captain...a-and what's a trail chaser?
Her hands clutched the edge of her seat in a nervous state, she looked around and saw others in shock, or looked scared. "O-okay" trying to calm herself aloud, "it's on a train track..we have to worry about too much speed..and turns." Which didn't help her at all. Someone really needs to go get help..but how..are we really stuck here? No..it was all some joke...a big cruel one.

"Ren," the Gryphon said, giving a mock salute to the ghost dog - Winston, was it? "Nice to meetcha, Winston - can I call you Winny? Man your tail's pretty jazzin' there. I just got enrolled at the Academy myself, only been there about a week now, gonna move into my dorm in a few days - "
Ren was interrupted in his jabbering by the caterwauling gnome - had he just died? How creepy. His eyes moved from the bloodied body (that would leave a rather nasty stain) back to the dog. "That's slightly problematic." he said, suppressing a yawn as his own sharpened teeth flashed into view briefly. He twisted his tail around his hand. "What do we do if the train crashes? Will we die? I don't particularly want to die. What do you think happens when we die? I wonder if we'll be reincarnated. I think if I'm gonna be reincarnated I kinda wanna be somethin' else besides a Gryphon. Maybe a rabbit. Or an eagle would be cool. Or maybe a fish. Yeah, a fish. Not sure what kind, though..."

Sin thought the ride was going rather splendidly, no silly chaperone to pester them, everyone getting along fairly well, and she and Alcie seemed to have found someone to invite to their party. It was all going swimmingly and she leaned back a bit slowly crossing one long leg over the other. Then came the gnome, he was bearded and gashed crossed his chest. Sin would have been annoyed except he blurted out something about a trail chaser and then...died.
She stood up and moved quickly towards the gnome grabbing his hand and moving to feel for a pulse. Sin actually...liked the gnomes though she would never admit it. They were funny and friendly if one was friendly to them, besides they wrote her the most adorable poetry.
She slowly frowned and moved her fingers up against the gnomes neck looking worried. Death wasn't a laughing matter and it looked like something had killed the supposed train captain. She slowly stood again and then crossed her arms and tried to look nonplussed.
"I think he's dead..." She said it more her group, Gabrian, Alcie, Junko, and those around them.

Oh! It looked like the she-wolf got one of those weird cards too. Maybe she knew what it was for. Before getting the chance to open his mouth she replied back with a bit of hesitation. Guess she had no idea what the card was for either. The mystery behind the card will probably be revealed sooner or later.
LW? That was kinda short for someone’s name wasn’t it? Just two capital letters? LW must have stood for something. Ah well.
Kilometer nodded in response to her question, “I am. I could say the same to you thought I don’t know anyone by default.” The tone of his voice for muffled and altered due to the gas mask he wore. It also made his voice slightly deeper then what it was really. “Well my name is Bently, though I go by Kilometer. I guess I can’t really stop you from calling me whatever you’d li-.” His sentence got cut off by the sudden out burst by bearded gnome that seemed to appear out of no where.
What in Jacks name happened to him? Kilometer pointed towards the gno- jack skel- what?! What just happened? That gnome was there and now no more. Kilometer rose from his seat and pointed to where the gnome was, before letting his arm fall back to his side. “That gnome just- Wait... Great. Why did we have to be in the FIRST car.. That was a captain’s badge... what’s going to happen to the train?” Kilometer agreed with Winston’s thought involving the train. If anything happens to the train guess who's going to be the blame? The first jacking car. At this point he could care less as to what a Trail Chaser was.
His ears flicked with annoying at Ren’s rapid fire questions about death and reincarnated. In his mind, a totally been there done that scenario.

BANG! went something on the ceiling of the car. Judging from the giant dents it left, whatever it was didn't seem all that friendly. At all.
A loud CLUNK-CLUNK-CLACK followed after it, and then from the very top of the train car emerged a head. Just a giant ghostly skeletal reindeer head. It was followed by the rest of the body as it literally phased through the roof and landed with an audible thump on the carpet. Easily taking up the entire hallway and middle section of the car, the thing reared up on its hind legs, and smashed the seats closest to. It then scraped its hoof on the ground, swinging its head back and forth. All in all, the creature did not seem that friendly. FIGHT OFF THE SKELETAL REINDEER (HP 100) - Roll TWO 6-sided dice. - AFTER you roll PLEASE EDIT YOUR POST IN with the following. - Take your ROLL VALUE and subtract it by 6. This is your melee attack power. - Write in an ACTION post of your student attempting to fight the reindeer. You can throw items, limbs, fight it off physically but no natural or Fear abilities are allowed. Jamais looked very unhappily up at the reindeer. Before looking over to Ren that was going on about death and all that. "I think you got your death wish. To be honest I'd rather wish you hadn't asked about that..."
Jam's tone had a slight bitter tone to it as she waited for the reindeer to come close enough, she was debating on going hand to hand or hoping she could find something that was useful. "For Jack's sake..." She muttered as she decided just to rough it up with her fists when she was able to reach it. Of course that doesn't mean she was the best at psychically fighting.

Well that was...unexpected.
And kind of annoying. All Ren had been attempting to do was fall back into a nice, peaceful slumber.
Being attacked by a giant reindeer skeleton was, in fact, not peaceful.
Irritated by the stupid thing, Ren reached down and untied his shoe, pelting it across the length of the car and watching it hit the skull of the giant...reindeer...skeleton...thing...with a muffled kerflump.
Of course, then his shoe flopped uselessly to the floor and the thing was still there, but overall it had been rather satisfying.
Even if he now was short one shoe (well, that's problematic).

Kilometer eyed the ceiling of the train car as the loud obnoxious clunking pounded on the roof.
Up on the housetop, reindeer pause
Out jumps good ol-OH DEAR JACK WHAT IS THAT?!
No seriously though. WHAT -IS- THAT?! Is that a reindeer?
Kilometer also glared at Ren, thinking the same exact thing in terms of Ren jinxing them all. How convenient was it that THIS happened just as Ren wished for excitement to die for. The deer was huge man. HUUUGE. As it pounded the ground and thrashed about Kilometer jumped from his seat to its backrest, balancing by crouching down. He can’t just sit here. Eventually everyone will be in a panic and either start attaching this thing or running away.
“That’s fine,” Kilometer replied back to LW saying she’ll call him Kilo, “I think we best worry about this reindeer in front of at the moment. It’s beginning to cause a problem..”
As LW stood in her own reaction to the deer she bumped into Kilometer who, now flailing madly due to sudden disturbance of balance, fell backwards into the seat behind him. “Ompf!” He grunted as a leg hung over the seat he was once resting on. Climbing back to the stop of the chair he decided to help the students fight back. Jumping at the reindeer whatever attack he would have issued would have been in vain; not long after his jump the deer thrashed into his side, slamming him into the side of the train, before falling down onto a chair below.
Today wasn't turning out to be such a great day. First friendly fire now being hit by a deer. Good thing he was undead, he didn’t feel a thing!

There was someone new that had joined the small group where she had wound up. The one that yawned a lot was throwing out question after question and LW felt the urge to pull his tail or something. She enjoyed being a very much alive werewolf, Jackdamnit! And apparently, she might be the only one of the four back here that thought that. Seeing as the other two, Ren aside, were already dead.
"Only slightly problematic?" The she-wolf snorted and glanced at...Bently? Kilometer? Did he have a preference? She glanced at him when he stood and pointed at the gnome now lying quite lifeless on the car floor. "Kilometer, huh? Maybe I'll call you Kilo...unless something more interesting comes to mind." LW gave him a faint grin and looked back at the Gromble Car's problem. What the Jack were they supposed to do?
To all three boils, "Should we, uh...maybe do something about...him?" Violet eyes flickered between Ren, Winston, Kilometer then the gnome and took in the rest of the students on board. Wonder what the other cars are doing right now? The thought slipped in while they all stared and gawked at the captain.
And what the Candlejack was a Trail Chaser?!
Apparently...they were going to find out what something was. There was loud clacking and clunking coming from the roof. The she-wolf jumped and stared at the trains roof. As she watched, some sort of skeletal creature phased through, WTH?! They weren't allowed to do that, were they? The skeletal reindeer landed with a heavy thud and promptly took out a few unfortunate seats when it reared.
With a startled yelp, LW was out of her seat and took a few steps towards the back, maybe bumping into Kilometer once. Being in the first car must have had some special drawbacks that they all missed in the fine print of their tickets. Not that they got any tickets in the first place. This was too much, in her opinion and the she-wolf took up one of the many bells she had on her and threw that. It would at least give her some time to find something better to fight with.

Draven looked at the reactions of all the students around the car. “I…don’t think anyone has a clue,” he answered the student who had been sitting with him.
Draven’s eyes settled on Alerick. “Good to meet you-even with the circumstances,” he said, gesturing to the gnome. “I imagine we will,” he replied to Alerick’s comment, looking from Alerick to Eracs. Draven liked both of his new friends, and was glad he had decided to talk to them. “And perhaps we had best stick close for the rest of this trip…”
BANG! Draven jumped and looked up to see dents. The creature that entered the car….that did not look good. Not good at all….
((attack time))
Draven was unsure about what to do. He reached into his pocket and his hand came out with...his a few fear candies. Well, those might not be much help. But anyway-he hurled them at the monster with all his might!

The tatzelwurm had seen death before but when the gnome dropped motionless to the floor, she froze. What would have done this to the lil' fella? Trail Chaser?
"Na, never heard of 'em" she said to Jamais who addresses the same question everyone was asking. Then, an eruption of clanking parted the roof as a reindeer thing broke through only to begin thrashing the seats around like playthings.
The pin limited her from bouncing atop it to ride it into submission... like she would've wanted to do. Instead, Levis sped through a seat aisle to pick up debris from the tattered cart chairs and threw them at the beast. They weren't the best ammo, but because of all the destruction, she had it in spades.
"Alright, critter! Ye don't break things that don't belong to ya- now yer gonna hafta pay the price!"

Alcie felt Lizzy panicking slightly and she clasped the spider demon's hand gently. Putting on a brave face, Alcie had no idea what they were going to do. It would have been nice if they had some adult supervision right now.. She searched for the right words to try to comfort Lizzy but nothing came out.
The train ride was going so well up until when the captain gnome died right in front of them and now something was attacking them. Amityville High seemed to be like a very very dangerous place at this point. After the Battle of the Bands and now this. This was supposed to be a relaxing train ride with fellow students!
Alcie stared at Sin, Junko, Gabrian, Lizzy and the rest of the students around them unsure of what they were supposed to do now. Then she heard the thumping. Looking up quickly, the water demon saw it, this strange skeletal reindeer thing. How in the name of Jack did that thing just phase through the roof? Wasn't this cart supposed to be immune to that?
Jumping into action, Alcyone grabbed the closest item which so happened to be a few skull pens and pencils from a nearby table. Surprisingly Alcie did 5 damage to the beast. There was no way that she was going to physically attack this thing. It's not like she could do much damage anyway. She hated the fact that this pin prevented her from using her Fear and natural abilities especially when she was in danger like this.
