A few weeks later, Taneir was gently bouncing Aeron after a feeding, trying to get a burp. He had healed up well following his first birth and was getting used to the other rites of parenting.
"How are the others, love?" he called over to Nalla.

 Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla held Reyes and Nadia both balanced on her legs as she bounces them to get them to burp as well. She looked over to Taneir and smiled, glad to have him feeling better and being able to help. She was happy and it showed, even more so when her father came around saying how proud he was of her and Taneir. The other males of her tribe were also happy, and were asking how they had been able to keep all the children instead of having any one of them not making it. Her and Taneir, when asked those questions, would answer them, telling them that she had just pampered him and cared for him as much as she could. "They are both fine, I'm just trying to get them to burp right now. How's Aeron doing dear? Did he eat alright?" Finally after bouncing them for a few more minutes Reyes burped. With that Nalla laid him down on their bed to pat Nadia's back hoping to get her to burp. "Love, after we get them burped would you like to go visit the males at the daycare? I'm sure they would love to see you and the babies." (())

Taneir kissed Aeron's forehead after he finally burped, setting him down in his crib. "He seems quite satisfied, love," he said, chuckling. "And sure, we can visit the daycare. I'm sure everyone there is missing seeing you so often since the birth. I'm not sure what I could tell them, though. All I really did was serve as the carrier..." he put a hand on his healed stomach.

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled as she finally got Nadia to burp. She laid her down in the center of the bed with Reyes and then walked over to Taneir and wrapped her arms around his waist with her hands resting on his stomach. She stood behind him and lightly kissed his cheek and then his ear while purring. "I am sure little Mia is missing you dearly since you last saw her. I think she fell in love with you that first day you held her." Nalla moved to stand in front of Taneir then and she looked to him with a stern face. "You did more then carry them love. You cared for them and nurtured them. You even allowed me to experience what it could feel like if I had been able to carry them. For all of that I thank you from the bottom of my heart love." She kissed him then for a while, and when she pulled away from the kiss she was purring. She smiled to Taneir and moved to find some clothing for the babies to wear. Once she got some outfits together she handed Aeron's outfit to Taneir as she sat on the bed to dress Nadia and Reyes. "Alright I think were ready dear, how about you and Aeron, are you ready?" Nalla got together a few things in case the babies needed feeding or changing while at the daycare and then put Reyes and Nadia in the stroll, allowing Taneir to choose if he wanted to carry Aeron or put him in the stroller as well. (())

Taneir held up Aeron, all dressed, and held him close. "I'll carry him this time," he said. "Don't worry; I'll alternate." As they walked to the daycare, he finally spoke up. "I really have to thank you, Nalla. I didn't really know what I was going to do with my life back at home. But now I have a purpose. Not only as a husband and father, but an inspiration for others. And all I had to do was realize my gift of childbearing." He smiled at her.

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla walked with Taneir to the daycare, the stroller being pushed in front of her with Nadia and Reyes inside it. As they walked Nalla listened to Taneir and slimed over at him as she spoke. "There is no need to thank me dear. I too didn't have much to do here other then run the daycare. I am glad we have both been able to give each other purpose, and glad that you seem to enjoy the life I live." She smiled to him and pushed the stroller to the door of the daycare and stopped. She moved to open the door so that Taneir and then herself could enter. When the males of the daycare saw them they smiled and rushed over to help if they weren't busy. "Hello everyone. How have the children been since we were last here? How's Mai been doing?" (())

Taneir got a little thrill watching everyone fawn over his children and blushed slightly. "We're doing fine now; thank you for your concern." He scanned the room for little Mai. She wasn't their child, of course, but for some reason he would occasionally find himself thinking back to her. Perhaps it was because holding her was the first time he had any confidence he could become a father.

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled as she let the males take Reyes and Nadia from the stroller before moving to pick up little Mia from crib. Once she was in Nalla's arms Nalla walked over to where Taneir was still standing with the males around him and the children. She moved Mia to one hip as she held out her other arm for Aeron so that Taneir could hold onto little Mia. (())

Taneir smiled as they traded the children, hefting little Mia up in his arms. "Oof, you're getting big!" he chuckled. "Have they been keeping you happy? I've got three little ones like you now, all my own!"

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla smiled as she held Aeron in her arms and watched as the others showered Taneir and the other babies with attention. She stood to the side and looked at her family, happy to finally have one of her own. "Litter Aeron, look at your family and all the friends your father and brother and sister and you will have. I am so happy with my life and will enjoy what we have to share with each other." She placed a soft kiss on Aeron's cheek as she rocked him back and forth slightly in her arms. Mia was busy giggling and grabbing at Taneir's ears as she was held in his arms. She was now six months old and was growing really well. She was still small for a six month old but everyone thought that if she could find a good family to care for her that she could get stronger in time. ((I can't remember how old I said she was...lol))

Taneir laughed as Mia bent one of his ears forward with her little hands. "I hope my children can be as healthy and happy as you when they reach your age..." He nuzzled the little girl like one of his own, not even thinking about what he was doing.

Nalla Sheridan Bride As Nalla watched Taneir she smiled as she got an idea. Maybe later tonight while her and Taneir were relaxing she would ask if he wanted to take Mia as their daughter. She nodded to herself at the idea and knew if he said yes they would make a great family for the little girl. She stood off to the side and rocked as Aeron fell asleep in her arms.
Later when they got home Nalla smiled as she watched Taneir feeding one of the children as she put the others in their crib for bed. Nalla sighed as she sat down on the bed and leaned back to watch Taneir, waiting to talk to him about Mia. (())

Taneir set the final child down and made sure he was comfortable before setting down next to his wife. "You have the look of someone with something on her mind," he told her with a smile. "What's going on?"

Nalla Sheridan Bride Nalla blushed slightly as she looked over to Taneir before moving to cuddle against him. "Is it that obvious dear? Well I guess so." She looked up to him and smiled before she moved about on the bed to be sitting across from her husband facing him. She took a deep breath to steady herself before she spoke again. "Well I started thinking while at the daycare, maybe we could adopt Mia? She needs a home, and so far no one else has come to adopt her. And I can see how much she loves you, and how much you care for her. M-Maybe we can g-give her a h-home and family?" Nalla nibbled on her lower lip, a little nervous about what Taneir might say. (())

Taneir paused, tilting his head. "Do... do you really mean it?" He put his hand on top of hers. "I really have been thinking about it, but I wasn't sure if it would be an option. I mean, we already have three of our own--and of royal breed--and I wasn't sure if it would be acceptable. But I would love to adopt Mai if you think we can handle it!"
